A new day a new master

Skyler sat in her private quarters, this is where she spent most of her time, she hated it but the Jedi council was trying to keep her calm for huge emotions were terrible for her. She would have just gotten word that she had been found a new master! she was super excited to get out of this cell like bedroom

The council reaching out was a rare thing, especially to someone like Spencer. They had many run ins that never ended well for either side and she figured this was the council's way of getting her back for the broken window her and Ashin had broken through to escape them. Upon entering the enclave she met with one of the Masters in charge.

“She's extremely empathic, such as yourself.” The older woman spoke as she described the Padawan to the blonde. A heavy sigh followed and Spencer quickly picked up on it. She knew that sigh, it was the sigh that she often received when she was originally training with the Jedi Order of old. Think pressed lips showed Spencer's disapproval of how they were handling the young Padawan. “You think after twenty something years you guys would have figured something out. People like me, hyper sensitive empaths aren't a bad thing.” The older Jedi stiffened as she knew where Spencer was going with this.

“No, not a bad thing, but you have done terrible things.” A grin and a shrug, “Maybe the Order shouldn't have forced my hand then.” Furrowed brows and a hand waved, “This is not the place to have this conversation Ms. Jacobs.”

“It's Mrs. Varanin, now where's the girl?” Spencer took a slight joy out if the old woman’s unsurprised yet frustrated features. Ashin Varanin had scooped Spencer from the Order and made the girl into the woman she was today. In a sense, Spencer had decided to do the same to this girl. “Right this way…” the pair moved down the hallway, the Queen of Eshan receiving stares from former peers and those that had heard the tales of the former First Apprentice to Darth Desmus. “We’ve kept-” Spencer quickly interrupted. “You've kept her like a prisoner in her room, lovely - Guess time doesn't change things.”

Another groan and the council member felt as if this was a terrible idea. “No dar-” Spencer stopped in front of the room where she felt the swirl of emotions and the Force. “You called me to train her - I will teach her the things she wants to learn - she will learn everything I know. Do not dictate my teachings - it's obvious you have no clue how to handle someone with a precious gift. Now leave me with my student - good bye.” The Jedi made leave and Spencer opened the door.

“Hello, my name is Spencer and you are?” [member="Skyler Swaffer"]

Skyler could feel the fact that Spencer did not want to be here at all, she was only here to train Skyler for she knew what it was like to be in Skyler's position. Skyler could feel that the woman like herself was a Recalcitrant, Skyler knew this would be good for her.

As the door was opened and Skyler finally saw the face of the woman she would study it, as if she had not seen a person ever; she had been locked in this room for well over a year seeing no one but a stiff necked council member who had brought her food every day 3 times a day, she had grown to hate this member for her he was the embodiment of this imprisonment and loneliness she had experienced during this time.

The short girl could feel the woman's anger at the council for calling her back and then trying to stop her from doing what they had brought her back to do. As she stepped inside the room she would stand from the bed, though it made no difference in the way she viewed the women for in fact it may have even lowered her vision for she was so short, 4'9" to be exact.

As the woman introduced herself Skyler would speak in her normal voice which was quite high pitched but not annoyingly so. "I'm Skyler"

Spencer watched the girl, there was an obvious sign that she could feel Spencer's frustration. The force master crossed her arms and Continued to observe the Padawan before her. The girl didn't seem like she had much combat training or any training possible before her arrival. Stepping into the room, Spencer continued to examine the space the girl lived in.

“This room. It reminds me of the one the council used to keep me in. It was as if they feared me and had no way of controlling or teaching me.” Her hazel eyes fell upon the girl once more. “They are doing the same thing to you. I'm not a Jedi and I'm not a Sith. I believe in true balance of the force”

The blonde woman took a seat at the near my desk. Her hands rested in her lap and she smiled for the first time today. “So tell me why they lock you away. Empaths are weak to Dark side corruption, have they taught you how to close off your mind?”

Skyler would examine the woman before her and think to herself, is there a way to close off her mind. She knew she was weak to dark side corruption but she had never thought of it before, she could feel the woman's disappointment in the fact that Skyler had barely any training at all, tho what she did have was enough combat know how to survive most things. "They tell me it is better off if I am kept in here all the time not allowed to see anyone, I didn't know about closing my mind off
