Yesterday evening the Faction Admins and volunteer moderators had a meeting. The meeting itself concerned much of the given thoughts in our faction opinion poll; namely the direction the faction needs to take.
I will be starting a discussion regarding many of the poll opinions, but one in particular that I'm going to address here is the direction. A majority has stated they believe the Primeval needs to make some changes, to improve, and we agree with that 100%.
We did more than agree though. We put our heads together and came up with a concept for a new direction in which the faction may be ran...
Everyone should know that we will make no changes on a purely OOC basis. Everything you see below would be introduced through roleplay, or more specifically a faction storyline. The details of that storyline are still being worked out but first I'd like everyone to take a look at our concept and see if you like it.
Once you do, please answer the poll question and discuss whatever you'd like in this thread.
Concept
And thus the Host is dissolved; rising from its foundation are the Banners whose subjects are henceforth Legion.
Of these Legions are Zealots, who are led by Exemplars, and ruled by Exalts.
Each Banner is a shard of divinity--aspects of the Four.
Leading these aspects are Harbingers, a voice to that which they represent.
Essentially, the Host (our current form of government) will be further decentralized and replaced by the Banners. A Banner is essentially a tribe or clan, something for each to belong to. Each Banner will represent an aspect of each God and define the outlines of their Legion's (the citizens) culture. However; all within their Banner are free to pursue their own direction, to make their own choices.
This would create a society that values individualism, merits, and common cause in a decentralized and minimal-government environment.
