Onboard Peace...
Wyatt could feel that ever soothing feeling of the nexus run across his soul - it brought him a peace he didn’t often find. He imagined that was part of the reason the Station was named such - and it brought him comfort that eons of Jedi had experienced the same thing. A smile dawned on his lips as he made his way through the recently renovated chamber towards the three seats at the front -
Those for the Order’s most influential members, in time. Elected from the Council, each was beholden to the will of the many - but with their own specific jobs. The first seat, centered in the room for everyone to witness - was that of the Grand Master; the central figure of the Jedi Order. The established rules of the order however, were different - he was simply a guide, someone to help speak as a unified voice of the Order, but was no longer the primary decider of what the Order did, or could do. Simply a figurehead, the wisest among the wise - chosen strictly by the wise.
Second, the Keeper of First Knowledge - the protector of Jedi History and scrolls; what remained of it. Many of the Jedi that remained didn’t seek the conflict so many others did - but the histories lost to the Sith incursions and wars through the millenia. So much had been lost, and so much had to be retrieved - the Keeper was the guiding hand of those efforts, and elected for their intelligence, their driven dedication to the old arts, and the continuation of the Jedi’s history.
And the Third, Sword of the Jedi; the pinnacle of Jedi Guardians, capable of leading the Jedi’s war efforts against the Sith in every form. Jedi Shadows, Guardians, and forces dedicated to the survival of the Jedi Order as a whole answered to them - and many would respect them for their prowess in combat, their ability to lead, and the ever constant pressure of their blade to the throat of the Dark Side.
Wyatt couldn’t help but feel some gracious hope for those that would sit there - even if he didn’t know who they were yet. The Force seemed to circle those chairs, knew that the destiny of the galaxy - and the order - would rely on them; so they would inevitably have to choose carefully. For the moment, Wyatt sat down in the Grand Master’s chair, pressing away at a few quick buttons to summon those on the station to the council room.
When they arrived, he stood and spoke;
It is time that the Jedi vote on the future Grand Master. I welcome all your opinions, but I shall set some ground rules for our discussion -”, he said idly as he took a step to the side.
You may not vote for yourself. You must vote for someone with the Unified Jedi Order, and they must accept the position.”, Wyatt said with a nod.
Please, if you have something to say - say it now. Everyone will have time to speak, of your candidate, and what you believe they can offer our new Order.”
With that, Wyatt moved to sit, to listen, and to hear the cases many would offer. His vote would go to that which he thought the most qualified, who could lead the order into the next generation - to keep it safe and together. A finger played at his chin as he heard their arguments.

Ven strode down the halls of Peace with a purpose behind each step. Years spent fighting the Jedi with the forces of the Sith at his side provided a great insight to the halfbreed. The Sith were mighty due to the unified front and control provided by his father. Those strong enough to challenge the Dark Lord were frightened by the others who remained loyal. With fear and power, he broke those who attempted to step outside the fold. The Jedi had nothing like that. They were fragmented people with clashing ideologies. They agreed the Sith needed to be beaten, but could not even agree on how to go about it. With no true precedent in place, the Sith were left mostly unchallenged and other dark powers grew out in the galaxy.

It was almost a hopeless cause, unifying a bunch of segregated powers, but Ven owed it to those who put him on the straight and narrow to be there. Be the change you want to see and all that. Cotan would probably be proud of it, maybe not, but it didn't change the weight he felt on his shoulders. A weight only amplified as he moved deeper into the station. Never before had he seen such a wonder, it really brought things into perspective for the struggling Jedi. There would always be something greater than he and this was just the latest and greatest edition to his life. Thankfully, it was a welcome one this time.

Stepping into the chamber, Ven craned his neck from side to side looking for others. Only one stood out, mostly due to being the lone individual in the chamber. Ven nodded a head to Wyatt Morga Wyatt Morga as he moved to take a seat in the lower ring of the council chamber. Once he claimed his seat, he took the opportunity to study his surroundings in full.

The station truly was beautiful.

Become One With All Things
Days prior, the council chamber was a complete mess. Acting as one of the main storerooms since the station's abandonment, it took weeks of work between everyone in Peace to get it to a cleanly state. It was even more beautiful than he expected, with a soft natural light that illuminated the entirety of the room. Spiraling and angular carvings decorated every inch of the walls. Ryv had already spent hours alone in the room, enjoying the silence while listening to whatever music he could find broadcasted across the holonet. A sense of peace accompanied the room, one he had grown accustomed to.

This particular day was different than the last. Tension filled the halls of Peace, even in the council chambers. This was the first true test on whether or not the Jedi could work together.

Ryv wasn't the first to show which worked great for him, given he was able to slip in behind Vaulkhar. Moving past him, Ryv offered a stiff wave to Wyatt Morga Wyatt Morga before making his way to a back wall. He paced parallel to the wall, hands in his jackets, as waves of anxiety rolled off of him. He wouldn't have a voice that way, but it worked way better that way anyway. He wasn't anywhere experienced or smart enough to have much to say. So many Jedi were imposing or awe-inspiring, he couldn't imagine who would walk into that council chamber and stand among them.

The kiffar just felt lucky to be there and potentially see the next step forward.

Mm.

"Morga. Can I talk to you please."

Diana strode right up to the 'guiding hand' and knelled down to talk to him quietly. Soft enough that the others wouldn't be able to hear her.

"Two cents. A round table is great. Equal parties. Access to each other. A place to talk it out. That's great. I kinda figured that whats we signed up for. A first step. Just a table. But this... Feething hell man. Day one and you're giving away titles and special positions? What the feth. Before the inks even dry? Without asking anybody if it's a good idea? Without even considering if 'Sword of the Jedi' has some history around here? Gods man. ...Look. Look. Just two cents. Just between us. But you're making a big mistake here."

She almost snorted and slowed herself down.

"Again. Again. Just two cents. But maybe it would be a good idea to just... I don't know. Get that little tiny, round table setup we talked about going. And then. Step one, day one. Maybe ask all the Orders what they want step two to be. Ya know. Let the leaders of the Orders lead and all that. Mmm. Because this whole 'Grandmaster Giveaway Party' you're throwing? Yeah. Probably not the best idea for 'day one unity'. More like a 'free for all, fight over it', kinda okay. Not okay. Kinda thing."

She shook her head and wiped her mouth. Man. Whispering advice just wasn't her thing. But she tried to remain small and quiet at his side.

"Whatever. Look. Whatever man. You do you, okay. Just... Next time you plan a party? Maybe ask all the Conclaves if they're in the mood for celebrating something first. That's my advice. Less 'guiding hand'. More, 'lets just see if we have any common ground. Then build there'. Start small. Baby steps. And all that.

End of story. She looked away and quietly rose to her feet. She'd said her peace. Quiet as a whisper. Now it time for Morga to do Morga.

"And for what it's worth. Thanks for trying."

If he had nothing to say in reply. She'd take her leave from the room. She'd disrupted things enough for one day. Let it play.

A Light Shining in Darkness
As Diana approached, Wyatt sat quietly - letting her speak her fill. She carried on, and when she finished, Wyatt seemed to nod - as though he was internalizing what she offered; but his gaze fell back on her after a moment, he offered the same questionable whisper back;
If we separate the Orders by their respective leaders, would we ever truly be unified under one banner?”, he asked quietly.
No, I’d imagine we’d identify first as a Silver, Green, or Svivren Jedi; and as a member of the Jedi Order second. I ask this council to decide on a guiding hand for ease of management, to allow the Order a chance to move forward - to not stagnate simply because of discomfort.”, he mused.
Change is often not comfortable. I’m sorry if I’ve upset you, Diana, but for what its worth -”, he offered with a tender smile;
I appreciate your support at the meeting. If you wish to talk after this, feel free - I shall be in my chambers.”
With that, he leaned back in his seat and waited - for more to approach him to once again tell him his attempts at mediation and forward planning were wrong, pointless, or elsewhere disadvantageous for the Order as a whole; or for them to vote, as the council was intended, and to see them continue forward.
Ever forward.
