A new power awakens (Rogue Circle)

Crystalsong.

A strange planet to be sure. One that had a strange species and and even stranger sect of old Jedi that had once graced its surface It was so far flung few could even think to find it. Vassara had been gathering tabs on the Rogue force users of the galaxy. In fact she was openly watching the Sith and the remnants of the different orders as this one and that one came and went.

But lately she had a strange feeling come over her. As if the force itself was tapping her right on the shoulder, beckoning her on. She could feel the pull even more so as she closed in on the lone planet. The strange allure of the place was a mystery to her, but she supposed it had something to do with the Witch that possessed half her soul.

Or did it?

Either way it did not matter once. The young Spacer had been led here by her gut, plotting jumps purely on her ability to feel her way through the stars with the force. A trait she had honed in the Underground, under the guidance of the Merrills. She could sense radiating waves of power now as if something was coming alive.

"You alright?" Silas asked.

Her trusty copilot and companion Silas sat beside her. Stimcaf canteen in one hand, controls working in the other. They were contrasting fgiures. Vassara short, clad in a black jacket with red trim. Blue eyes that pierced from beneath black tresses. Silas was taller, wore a grubby orange trenchcoat and always had a raggedy look about his hair.

"Fine, I can feel us getting closer. Full burn, take us planetside!"

Minna's hand brushed across the moss-covered stone of the temple's front wall, pressing against it as she remembered what it once was. One of the several Grey temples of the galaxy, it had been the final home of the Order before it's end. All of temple records were passed on to Solan Charr, who in the end had little interested in bringing back the once successful academies. Now, with permission, Minna had inherited the Order and it's assets, allowing her to unearth the temple on Crystalsong. A little work would be needed, but the temple could be operational in no time. With a smile she continued into the temple, examining the interior and making note of what would need repairing. The force presence still remained, but she knew there wasn't a Nexus here anymore. However, something else pulled at her. She could sense something, or more likely someone, was coming. Was it the will of the force?

Either way, she made her way back out to the front of the temple. Nothing came into sight just yet, be she knew something was out there...

It wasn't long. Not long at all before the Gypsy Caravan soared the skies of Crystalsong. Vassara still felt the pull, it was growing now. Surging in her like a fire, longing to be put out. She could feel another too. As the half circle freighter skimmed the tops of the treeline she squinted through the viewport, trying to make out the landscape. The scanners pinged wildly, sending reams of data through a holo screen just to her left.

"There!"

"What?"

"Right there, see it? about a thousand meters out. Looks like a small mountain covered in moss and foliage."

This must have been it for when she set eyes upon it, she felt the pontite crystal in the folds of her jacket begin to buzz. The force was guiding her here, with everything it could muster.

"Bring us in close and set down!"

Vassara stood and began to gather her belongings. One backpack, full of three days survival supplies. A Czerka Combat shotgun, which she slipped into a leather sheath on her back, and her saber, hidden carefully out of view.

Could never be too careful.

Dust and debris kicked across the floor of the small clearing, nearly browning the place out as repulsors whined and the Gypsys Caravan began to settle....

Something came from the sky, no doubt it was a ship. Minna ran towards where it seemed to have settled down, before finding herself in a clearing where the ship was landing. Her hand stayed close to her lightsaber as she watched it touch ground, examining it for any Republic or Mandalorian markings. Nothing seemed to stand out, perhaps they were just scavengers or explorers? Either way, she had a feeling she would find out soon enough. Waiting for someone to exit the ship, she called out. "What's your business here?"

The ramp opened with hiss and out stepped the bold young woman. Her steps were measured as she made her way down it, the pack shifting slightly alongside the shotgun at her back. Pistols jingled on her hip as she moved, three to be precise. Then she heard a woman’s voice call out and paused, spying its pink haired owner.

"I could ask you the same thing friend."

She could feel the woman’s force presence emanating over the clearing. She was neither light nor dark, bust something elusive. The spiral scar on her shoulder burned, glowing a faint green. The Witches bloodtrail marking in the flesh. From the depths of her soul she could feel her nudge, urging her forwards.

Step forward Raxis. Destiny awaits.

Vassara took another step and then another until she was down the ramp and closing with the woman. She kept her hands clear of her weapons.

"Names Raxis, Vassara Raxis, Captain of the Gypsy Caravan. Who are you?"

Minna relaxed her hand slightly upon seeing the woman, she didn't seem to be a threat. Instead, she introduced herself and asked her name.
"My name's Minna, new leader of the Grey Order." Her name and the closest she had to a title, that would suffice for sure. "I'm here to rebuild what the order once had here, now what are you here for?" Trust for this stranger had not built completely yet, although something told her she had no reason to be worried. There was a purpose in this meeting, they just didn't see it yet. Whilst awaiting the woman's reply, she sensed that she too was trained in the force, but she was no straight cut Jedi, or all-out Sith.

"Hmm well hard to say really. I've been looking for a suitable place to assemble the wayward force users of the galaxy such as myself. I'm looking to make a home for them, and start striking back against the Sith."

The Grey Order? Last Vassara had heard they had gone under during the rapture. Oh the rapture, the thought of it made her shudder. Memories of the putrid smell and bubbling pools of the blood wastes came back into her mind but she pushed them aside. The woman was a strange one to be sure.

"I've been feeling a powerful pull from this location. So I followed it, as any good Spacer should. Tell me what ahppned to the Grey Order? Never heard much from them."

"Sounds like my sort of people. I have a feeling we were meant to meet." Minna quickly glanced back towards the temple, before looking back at Vassara. "Follow me, I'll show you the temple." She beckoned for her to follow, and if she did, she would continue answering her question. "The Order had to move planets alot, mainly due to the Sith's growing territory and trouble with the Mandalorians. By the time we got here we'd already lost alot of people. Soon after, our councils members started leaving for the Republic or their own factions. Some even went to the Sith, and still are." Her mind dwelled on Ferus, her former partner and once fellow council member. "I was part of the council, but everyone had already gone, so there was little for me to do but leave too. Now though, after all these years, I'm back to rebuild it."

She turned to Vassara as they reached the temple, which was looking worse for wear. "If you're looking to house wayward force users, then maybe we should do it under one roof. The temple can be yours, and there are still some records leftover from the archives. If we find enough people, the academy can thrive again."

[member="Minna"]

"Eh I prefer to think of it as ours. No councils for now. Just pure learning, unadulterated."

Vassara took in the temple, astounded at how much of it remained intact. All her searching had lead to this point. the call of the force was still strong here, no doubt others would be drawn to the sight. The archives, the housing, everything. It was perfect, it was secluded. It was a rogue forcers dream.

Vassara turned to Minna and chuckled.

"So how much is rent?" She asked jokingly. Her eyes still darted around the main chamber. There was some work to be done sure, but with time, she was sure this would become a cozy home for the bunch.

"Understandable, although if we get too big, we'll need people who make decisions. But that's when the time comes."

Minna followed Vassara's eyes to look at the temple, specifically the parts that needed repairing.

"I can fund most of the repairs, should be ready in no time. How do you intend to find people?" She turned back to Vassara, curious as to her plans.

Vassara scratched her head for the moment. That was a tough question. So she spoke up.

"Hard to say really. I think most folks who want to be here will be drawn by the force. That was my inclination to stumble across this in the first place."

She could tell the other woman was watching her intently. The funds were there, but the know how was what mattered. This place was devoid of the force, almost as if it had been severed. Most temples had a Force Nexus but this place was strange and aloof, almost as if she could not grasp it entirely.

"Tell me, what happened here? I feel the pull of the force, but at the same time, it seems devoid here. As for finding folks. Well I suppose you could send out holo messages to your fellow comrades. Some of them will be bound to return. As for me I can reach pout and contact a few folks."

Soaring out of Hyperspace Sakon slowed his ship down and watched the planet from orbit "i dont even know why i am here" eh said to his R-5 Unit, he on some occations tended to talk to his astro mech droids which some though of as uncommon "just...something seems like its pulling me in" eh said to his droid as he flew downwards and soon enough landed on the landscape away from people and most civilization in general. The door to his ship opened up and he walked down the ramp and looked around "well it seems like the place is deserted enough...i sense much lighter presances here though" eh said to his r-5 unit whitched beeped and whisled in response "maybe i will hang around here for a little bit" eh said as he sat on the ramp going into the ground observing the planets plant life "this place is quite beautiful...i would much like to observe it for a little while anyways" he added, doing no effort to try and hide his darker force energy

Andrea Kryze

Innocence and Killer Instinct
While [member="Vassara Raxis"] went out, Andrea remained at the bridge of the ship. A member of the Kryze clan of Mandalore, Andrea had joined the Rogue Circle in simple searches of understanding. When she found out she had potential in a power called the force, she wanted to find a good place to train. These rogues were not a part of any particular order, and Kryze wanted to keep her allegiances with the Mandalorians, who were everything to her. Andrea decided to give this place a try.

And so, there she was. Watching over the bridge of a ship as her new leader went out to inspect areas for a good base. The Mandalorian initiate had no idea what was going on out there, but in case she was needed she was armed. Heavily armed.

Two heavy blaster pistols and a semi-machine blaster were the blasters she carried. She also had a beskad for a melee tool - not that melee fighting was her gift. She knew how to use blasters very well, and could pack a punch behind her fists just fine. Melee combat, something that force users apparently did a lot, was something new.

The beskad and rifle on her back, and pistols on her belt, Andrea check over the systems one more time time before getting up. She straightened her black jumpsuit and walked around the bridge, a tad bit bored already... she then sat down again, pulling out a holopad and looking into these "lightsaber styles" again. Makashi and Niman actually looked pretty cool...

"As was the case with all Grey Temples, this one had two nexuses. A Dark Nexus underneath and a Light Nexus on top. However, both of them were destroyed when the order left. It was best not to leave such powers out in the open for the wrong people to find. That's why you can still sense a strange presence in the force. Once we have more people we could reactivate the Nexuses. Could make for a good lesson for students." Another Dark Nexus wasn't something she really wanted to create herself, but if others created it underneath the temple she wouldn't have to go near it. Aslong as the temple was balanced, all would be well.

"I'll reach out to who I can. I'm also friends with the ruler of Kesh, which isn't too far away. Gives us an ally and potential source of students. He's starting something big which would help us out." She refrained from going into too much detail, but it was definitely a good thing. "In fact..." Minna pulled out a datapad, tapping on it quickly. "I'll access the temple's communications. Get them back online and broadcast a message, to the right people of course." As she said that, the datapad beeped. A transmission went out as far as it could, calling for rogue force-users and the like.

Suddenly, her head turned to the side. "I sense someone else is coming... and he seems familiar." The same presence she had felt in [member="Sakon Xarabia"] was nearby, coincidence? "Did you bring anyone else with you, by the way?"

Twas only then that Vassara remembered. Poor Andrea was still on board the ship, waiting to come explore! She cursed under her breath and smiled, giving the smile over to Minna.
"Well as luck would have it, I actually have one new addition already on board, just waiting to come and meet us shall I call her?"

Then she felt something else. A darker presence. Being gifted at picking through the currents of the force and with a little help from having worked alongside several Jed'aii for so long leading the now desultory Expeditionary fleet. Vassara could feel that the new presence was dark but not incredibly dark so as to be a Sith.

"Yes I feel it. Shall we walk to the entrance, greet the lot?"

The presence was coming closer and her curiosity was burning. Vassara reached for her shotgun and unsheathed it, letting it hang loosely in her right hand, just in case.

Sitting on the ramp he looked upo, oneof the force senses that he was pickling up had a familiar feel to it...one like he had met her in the past "who...i know the energy..." he said as he began trying to place a name to that energy. It was a lighter energy then his own which was very dark. Not sith but it wasn't far from it. Sakons energy, wail eh may not be a sith, could be mistaken as one as he often fought like a sith and when it came down to it, relied more on dark force abilities and some sith abilities then anything else. He stood up looking around as he began to walked off of the ramp and into the grass. Watching the trees and sky as he began looking through the dense woodland of the planet. He found the entire thing quite fascinating to him.

"Yeah, best to get to know them now I guess." Minna smiled, putting her datapad away and beginning her walk to the entrance. She made her presence in the force known more on purpose, expanding her aura so that those coming would know exactly where to find them.

"You probably won't need that shotgun, I think I know who's coming." The last time she was with [member="Sakon Xarabia"] was on Ilum, and they ended up dueling. Now though, they were on better terms.

"Sounds good. I dont like to use this thing more than I have to anyways."

Vassara slung the shotgun back in its holster and moved forwards towards the temple entrance. She could feel Minnas force presence expanding and followed suit, opening herself up. The blast of force energies burned like a beacon in combination with the temple. The amplified energies were sure to felt far and wide, by any and all force users. Even the unsavoury ones, such as Sith.

Vassara sent a mental wave over the forest, attempting to connect with the two signatures. Andrea was easy enough, she knew her. The other was a bit more difficult, but would feel her telepathic burst nonetheless. One single word was spoken to them.

"Come."

[member="Vassara Raxis"]

[member="Minna"]

Sakon stopped as eh heard the telepathic message "what the hell...." eh said to himself as he realized that they were talking to him. He then used his speed and raced through the trees using augmented speed by the force. racing over roots and branches, dodging trunks and branches as well until he made it to the clearing. he skidded to a stop looking around and seeing the two other force users. Since his match with Minna his skin had become a little paler and the shadows under his eyes more pronounced indicating farther delvation into the dark side of the force. One of them he had not met before...but the pink haired one was all to familiar

Vassara squinted at the dark presence. He appeared to know Minna already, whcih was good. Still there was no sound from the directions of the ship. She wasn't sure if Andrea was actually on the way or not. With asingle motion she resheated her shotgun and placed her hands into her pockets, taking a decidedly nuetral stance.

She let the sounds of the forest waft through her ears, chriping insects and strange birdlike caws. She could smell the musky moss and vegetation from the floor, feel the pulsing beating heart of the planet in the force. It was like an intricate web to her, moving and swaying.

"So, where exactly should we start on reparing this temple? I was hoping to look into the archives first and then get to work."
