Barak looked out the window of his ship, gazing into the vastness of space itself. A smirked crossed his face, as he’s always amazed at how open space looks. How vast it is never ceases to amaze him, and how open it is, its dark void called out to him as reaching out to embrace him. Barak looked on contemplating questions almost every sentient being thought of. He ponder the origin of man, if it was as simple as, he had been taught. What was the meaning in life? If man had any meaning. Was man worthy of defending? Because of the atrocity that humans, near humans, and even aliens had committed. He wondered if the Jedi ways of peacekeeping was even worthy of upholding.
He smirked, it was that question that, at this time, prevented his return to the Order itself. He hadn’t yet decided what he should do. Was it justice to see those who would harm their fellow man live? Was it justice to show mercy to the enemy? Wouldn’t it be better to end them, and their reigns of terror that they spread? These questions Barak had continued to ask himself, yet in spit of it all, he endeavor ever harder to be the hero that could inspire the change he wished to see. He stopped himself, he went down this road too many times, and knew exactly what would happen. He would think himself in a complete circle, and would really do nothing. He looked at his nav computer, to see how the trip was going. The planet, which he couldn’t read, because he couldn’t pronounce it at all. Was only half a mile away, he looked back out into space, and there was the planet itself in plain view. He switched the navigation to auto- pilot as he got himself ready.
He knew full well that one of the temples that belonged to the Jedi Order was located on this planet, and he had decided to go visit. Maybe they have some of the answers to the questions that was burning in his head. He changed out his clothes, and put on the more tradition Jedi clothes. Recently he didn’t like going out in public without at least looking like a Jedi. Though he felt he wasn’t really a part of the Order any more, once he got dressed he felt his ship shake, as it had finished docking. He was glad that his family fortune went into updating the controls. It allowed even the auto-pilot to dock the ship for him, as he can go and get ready. He finally clipped his two curved lightsabers, one on each side, as he took another moment to look in the mirror in his sleeping quarters. He wanted to make sure, that he looked his best. No need to make the Jedi’s look bad, even if he wasn’t a part of the order itself.
He knew that if you carried a lightsaber, to the general public, you’re either a Jedi or a Sith. Which of course he was no Sith; his ship let out a steam sound indicating that docking was finished. With it Barack exited his ship, now was the time to look for some answers that were burning in his mind.
