A New Year; A New Hope

Happy New Year to you all!

Thank you, on behalf of the SJO staff and myself as FO, for your continued support and input over what has been a very testing year for the Silver Jedi.

But with a wealth of passion, creativity and unity, we have entered a new year full of new adventures that await and lots of new opportunities for us with new allies and old foes.

So, as we start 2018 with a fresh outlook, please keep an eye out for new dominions to expand our reach around Kashyyyk, for new Faction threads for ourselves and our allies to strengthen relations and also the threat of our enemies out to skirmish worlds in a battle of good v evil!

Damn right! Happy New Year guys - let's make it a good one. After all, we dictate where we go, and I'm aiming for the skies.

It feels like a lifetime ago when I retired as Faction Owner and Grandmaster, even though it was only 8 months ago I officially stepped down. Of course, it would only be weeks later when I had to make a brief return when Sorel Crieff chose to step down rather suddenly, but that doesn't count.

Even though my time in the faction came and went, I just want you guys to know I am so very proud of you all. This faction has endured so much, before even I was a member, and yet we're still alive and kicking - now more than ever, from the looks of it! We are the longest lasting major faction this site has ever seen, and going at this rate I don't foresee us going away any time soon.

As part of the old guard, it is a pleasure to see the faction thrive under new management. Thank you, [member="Valae Kitra"], [member="Stephanie Swail"] and [member="Valkren Calderon"] for all your hard work! ^_^

That is amazing.

I would like to echo Thurion's words and give my congratulations to all members of SJO past and present for all their work and fun they have had over the years in this place. Not only as admins and notable leaders but to all that have spent time here and had fun with us all role playing.

Times had been tough, but it is part of it all but what is great about the SJO is that we always try and look out for each other and that is the most important thing.

After I stepped down as well, this faction only continued to thrive and the new leadership is doing a great job of which I am proud.
