For those not aware, we've been in a bit of a slump with Cira's departure. Tegaea has done what needed to be done in the interim, but with rules in effect, she could not fully assume the post of Lady Protector.
With the need for a leader to step up imminent, and with no other options available to us, I've elected to step down from staff and assume the role of Lord Protector for the Protectorate.
I know I haven't been as active and visible within the faction these last two months, and for that I apologize. However, as the holidays come to a close, I'm looking to take a more active role on the board and within the faction.
For our immediate future, we have the event on Valen to attend. It'll be a good chance for us to interact with the other factions and even have skirmishes with them without the pressure of losing planets. I'll be there, both in space and on the ground, to coordinate our forces and work towards a victory for the Protectorate.
Beyond Valen, I'll be working with some other faction leaders to create activities and threads for people to get out and do with their characters what they've always wanted to do with them. We've a lot of people out there to interact and roleplay with, and I for one look forward to the opportunities that await us.
In short, the goat assumed direct control. I'll take my cheese in a cup and I want a fire by my bed. Make it so, and long live the Protectorate.
