A Night To Remember

Lujo, the edge of republic space, where the republic meets the atrisians and the protectorate. A planet of vast beautiful oceans and landscapes. Truly it was a beautiful system, the sun was setting on the quaint town of Vespa, but something was wrong in this small town. Children were going missing never to be seen again, some parents say the child just floated out of the house like a ghost had picked them up and carried them into the night. There was truly something going wrong here, but it wasn't ghost. It was the Yuuzhan Vong, and they had been taking children to infect with the Rakghoul virus to turn them and raise them into obedient slaves. Cloakers entered the small town once more tonight to round up not just the children but the adults, the animals everything. Invisible and voice of the force the Vong took the people screaming and crying to an old warehouse outside of town.

Once they had arrived the Vong threw individuals into a pit dug in the center of the place where they would be infected by the people who were once über children. Screaming and cries came from the warehouse as the Vong continued to pile the people converting them. If not stopped the whole planet could be under risk of infection. But it would seem the Vong here were not acting alone. Standing in the rafters was the supreme overlord Dredge in the flesh. He was here to spread the virus on this planet. The republic had no real knowledge of who he was or who the horde were, just rumors of a man who spread death across the stars. We wore his crab armor and in his hand was the scepter of power, an amphistaff capable of immense power. It had tasted the blood of many Jedi, and it would taste the blood of more. But the Vong lord continued to watch the towns people of Vespa be thrown into the pit one by one turning them into monsters. @[member="Rasu Gan"]

Word had spread quickly around Republic space of the ghost of Lujo. Rumours told of a silent force, that kidnapped children and adults alike in the dead of night, never to be seen again. Rasu had her doubts, she had seen much of the galaxy, she had even been in the presence of a Force apparition, a very rare sight indeed. She found it hard to believe however that a spirit would be able to cause such stress and discomfort among the settlers of the Republic world. However she had decided to journey to Lujo itself, to locate the actual kidnapper for no ethereal being would be able to accomplish a kidnapping of this size.

The worlds single moon shone down on the planet surface, illuminating the Shi'ido Knights green skin. She had been on the planet for two days now and so far she had been able to gain quite an abundance of knowledge on each of the kidnappings. She had followed the clues and information from all the settlers, which had led her to an abandoned warehouse, just on the outskirts of the town where people began to start disappearing. However upon closer inspection, Rasu could tell that this warehouse was no where near abandoned. Bright lights blared out of the transparisteel windows, advertising its activity in all directions. Faint screaming and wails of pain and terror could be heard echoing from the facility, sending small shivers down the Shi'idos spine as the victims hopelessness suddenly washed over her in a massive tidal wave. I have to do something now, she thought, close to exhaustion after experiencing the terror of so many beings within.

Pulling out her comlink, she quickly sent a brief scrambled message back to the small town where a dozen other Jedi academy tutors and students awaited for her return. Not knowing what to expect when entering the warehouse, Rasu wanted to know that back up would still be accessible, so ordered her staff to begin their approach toward the facility but to not enter until her signal was given. For all she knew some spirit could be the culprit in this kidnapping, whereas in that case her attempts of rescue would be useless. Her fellow Jedi however gave her some sense of reassurance, helping her realise that she wasn't alone. With her message sent, Rasu placed the comlink back on her equipment belt and began to steadily proceed towards the warehouse, taking cautious steps so to not alert the inhabitants of her presence.

Using the Force, she leaped up towards the building, flying high into the air, until landing on the roof, feet not making a sound as she made contact. Lightly carrying herself over to a nearby skylight, she hoped to catch a glimpse of the kidnappers. Peering through the stained and foggy glass, Rasu was able to make out the figures of the human settlers, obviously the ones who had been kidnapped however there were multiple figures that she didn't recognise. Enhancing her sight with the Force, she stretched her line of sight towards one of the humanoid silhouettes. Yuuzhan Vong! The Jedi's hands flew automatically to her twin lightsabers as a small sense of alarm flooded through her. What are they doing here? Rasu thought, Aren't all Yuuzhan Vong exiled to Zonama Sekot, the living planet? Rasu's mind raced through the possible explanations for the species presence here, but she realised that the only way to figure out this reason was to journey into the warehouse. And with that said, she silently lifted up the transparisteel pane and jumped through the open frame, landing on the ground without making a single sound. Like walking into a Rancor's den.

Screams, more and more screams came from the pit. More men and women tossed into the pit dug into the middle of the warehouse. There were about fifty figures in the warehouse that could be seen. Though in the pit no body knew exactly how many Rakghouls were at bottom. If the Jedi counted correctly there were about ten armored Vong patrolling the inside of the warehouse, and twenty cloaked. <<Purge the humans brethren!! See to it they become instruments on the holy path!!>> the man in armor stood at the top of the rafters spoke in his natural Yuuzhan Vong tongue, he was clearly the one in charge. Down bellow the Vong were tormenting the poor village people, goading them and holding them above the pit of monsters. Down bellow the creatures were roaring and howling. It was too late to save the children, but adults were still capable of living. Dredge stood from up above smiling at the work done here. Soon this entire planet would be overrun with the plague.

Dredge however wanted to get a bit more intimate with the people of this town, walking down the stairs he made his descent to the warehouse floor. His dark presence being known amongst his men. The Vong were far from gone, he and his people were some of last people left from the Vong's putter rim colonies. And he was even the Supreme Overlord of his people. "Do I scare you?" he said as he approached one of his guests in the old abandoned facility. Dredge was a fanatic in every sense of the word, the rightful leader of the Vong, he held the scepter of power. And it was indeed powerful, using it as a walking staff he continued his small walk towards the people that were being held by the Vong cloakers. Approaching a younger man perhaps only in his early twenties dredge waved his hands for his man to drop the pour soul. Letting go the man hit the ground face first and coughed. "Kneel worm." he said with malice in his voice.

The man refused, he stood back up to look up at dredge in his face. "No" he said with just a hint of fear in his voice. "Very well then." Dredge responded to him. Grabbing the man by the neck he threw him into the pit of Rakghouls where only the sounds of screams and roars were now heard. "drop them." he said to his men, the Vong listened without hesitation and placed the towns people on the ground. "Now, kneel." he said in a calm cold voice. "Kneel or you will end up like your friend." the towns people did what the overlord commanded and dropped to al fours kneeling before him. "Much better, turn them." Dredge walked back chuckling evily as the Vong picked them back up continuing to throw more people down to be infected. Dredge smiled and then began to sniff the air. No, it couldn't of been. Jeedai, taking it as only his senses playing tricks on him he continued to watch the plague spread on the ground floor. @[member="Rasu Gan"]

Clinging to one of the lights that draped down from the ceiling, Rasu watched shocked as the innocent villagers were chucked into a pit filled with many, mutated beings. Recognising the one who had given the order as the leader, the Shi'ido prepared herself to drop, hoping to save a few lives before they too were thrown into the pit. Calling upon the Force, she pushed off the lamp, back-flipping in mid-air, before landing noiselessly behind two of the Yuuzhan Vong. Sending her boot into the back of the nearest enemy, she sent her victim flying with a Force-enhanced kick, his screaming intensified as her blade found a niche in his crab armor and the life left his eyes.

Bringing her lightsaber around, Rasu was able to catch the sharp amphistaffs that were suddenly upon her as the other Yuuzhan Vong caught on to what was happening. With the serpents struggling to reach the Shi'ido, the Knight fought back with her sabers, fighting until her attackers backs were against the edge of the pit. Looking back the pair realised the predicament they were in, giving Rasu the opportunity she needed, delivering several deadly slashes, the Force helping her find each vulnerable spot. The lifeless corpses fell into the pit, the Rakghouls moving out of the way as their dead Masters fell around them. Now her enemies approached her more cautiously, aware now of her strength. She was not like the helpless villagers that they throw to be eaten, she won't go down without a fight. Turning to face the leader, her twin lightsabers ignited at her side, she fixed him with an enraged glare.

"So it is you who has been kidnapping these villagers, am I correct?"

@[member="High Prophet Dredge"]

Standing there watching the Jedi go to work on killing his men, dredge was quite impressed. She was very skilled, the villagers took advantage of the situation and began to run towards the door. Though the Vong In the rafters didn't like that very much, firing down on them the warriors struck and killed a few, their fire kept up as they continued to rain down death upon them. Lifting his hand the vong ceased firing as the rest made their way to safety outside the building. Dredge let the villagers escape but for what reason? Silently Dredge walked up to the small woman cocking his head, "Jeedai, you are rather beautiful for a Jeedai." he said complimenting her, she had just killed a few of his brothers and he showed no signs of anger or remorse. Walking around her he waved his hand telling his men to carry on with their jobs, he wouldn't need their assistance if this got violent. "Why do you come here to interrupt their purification?" he asked her in a curious tone.

Dredge smiled a toothy at her as he neglected to answer her question. "These people, they are filthy. Their existence mocks the blessed path." he said to the Jedi as he continued to walk around her examining her still. "They are heretics, and I am their salvation. Pain is the only meaning of life and I am setting them free of it. You must see this my child, I am the light in the dark." Dredge stopped back in front of her and held his scepter of power. An amphistaff capable of horrible things, "Why do you fight me my child?" he asked her gripping his staff. He would not throw the first blow against this heretic. It didn't matter anyway. The Vong had been here for weeks and those were not the only ghouls in the pit. All of the boxes in the warehouse were filled with the plague. Dredge looked at the girl then stood in front of her to read her more @[member="Rasu Gan"]

Rasu cringed slightly as helpless villagers were shot down as they attempted to flee. There was nothing the Shi'ido could have done, she was just glad that majority of them had the common sense to stop after the first few were shot down. Bringing her attention back to the Yuuzhan Vong leader, she listened as he began to speak to her. His attempts at complimenting her seemed to have the opposite affect on the Shi'ido, sending small shivers down through her skin. If this was meant to intimidate her it had worked, but she wouldn't fall for such a trick again.

Her inner doubts however were suddenly replaced with irritation as he began to talk about the villagers which he had abducted. Purification, filth, heretics; these words only strengthened the growing fire within her. She relented from lashing out at him though, knowing that it was exactly what he wanted from her, instead she relied on her words to release her hate for the leader.

"Saviour?!?! Do you even know what that means? How dare you call yourself a saviour when you torture and murder innocent beings. Why wouldn't I fight you? What you're doing to these people is against everything I've been taught and raised up as a Jedi and I can't let you get away with this." With that said, she now took a few steps back from the Yuuzhan Vong, her lightsabers still held loosely at her side. She knew that although the other Vong were ordered to continue their business, they would be watching, desperate for her to fight. "I won't let this continue." she said, raising her lightsabers to show that she was done talking. This leader would not change his course, so now fighting was her only option if she was to rescue these people.

@[member="High Prophet Dredge"]

"They are children my dear, they know not what they need. They are dirty souls on the path to damnation, I have freed them. Life is pain my child, death and servitude is the only way to continue down the blessed path." Dredge looked down at the pit of roaring ralghouls and smiled, "Are they not happy now? They are where they belong now, serving the gods to make the great journey. The gods have spoke to me and told me this world was needed for cleansing." dredge rabbled on about his religious crap and tried to convince the Jedi that he was right here. And in his eyes he was the good person here, he was the one who brought these people to salvation. But I'm truth he was just going to commit utter genocide throughout the stars. He would burn this galaxy and glass worlds with a smile on his face thinking he was doing the will of the gods. It was almost sad to see the galaxy as he did, nothing more than humans who left his people to die.

Looking at her she took her stance to fight, dredge did not want to kill a fellow alien who had been wronged by man. But he had no problem kill Jedi, they were evil and horrid. Nothing more than an cult trying to hide behind the vale of democracy. The farce of democracy. Holding his staff it hissed at the woman loudly. "Don't make me kill you Jeedai, a fellow non human should stand with us against the tyranny that is man and the republic! Have you lost touch with what they have done to us?! Have the filth the Jedi speak deafened and blinded you?!" Dredge yelled lifting his staff towards her, he would fight her and maybe even kill her if he had to. In his world she was a heretic, a fool blinded by the Jedi. To dredge his first option would be to convert her, but that was never going to happen. So he had to kill her instead.

Stepping forward he held the scepter of power up until its point touched one of her sabers. The sparks flew a bit as the holy instrument touched the tip. Dredge sneered at her and spoke "So be it Jeedai, make your move." he said staring dead into her eyes. Dredge would cut her down if he had to, but first he would make sure the job here got done <<Prepare to unleash what we have, she would of called for help.>> Dredge said in his native tongue as he kept focus on her with his cold dead eyes @[member="Rasu Gan"]

A sharp tingle ran down the Shi'ido's spine, her danger sense alerting her to the Yuuzhan Vong preparing themselves for a fight. Returning his gaze with an even icier one, Rasu realised that she would have to be the one to strike first. She opened herself to the Force, becoming aware of everything within the general area, the Yuuzhan Vong warriors, the Rakghouls in the pit, the settlers cowering in a corner, even the crates full of liquidized Rakghoul virus. She knew what she had to do.

Loosening the grip on her shoto, Rasu threw it at Dredge, the green blade spun as it flew towards the Yuuzhan Vong. Leaping backwards, she stretched out with her hand, summoning the blade back to her palm. Hoping that her little maneuver had thrown the being offguard, Rasu landed behind one of the many crates, stacked up high within the warehouse. Using both hands, she pushed outwards with her fists, a surge of Force energy collided with the crates, sending them flying in the direction of the leading Yuuzhan Vong. Not wanting to give any of her opponents time to react. She began picking up even more crates, flinging them at any other Vong that moved. Beings from catwalks on the ceiling were thrown off their perches, those on the ground were nearly crushed under the weight of the crates. With a few of her opponents dealt with, Rasu returned to face her primary opponent to see what state he was in.

@[member="High Prophet Dredge"]

There was no liquified version of the virus inside the crates sadly, there would be no flood of infected Rakghouls Vong surging through his warriors. The crates hit the various areas of the ground and catwalks breaking them open, even crushing some of his men in the process. The blade spinned towards him fiercely and he blocked it with his staff, but the next part would not be so lucky for the Vong lord. The crate hit him and he fell under its weight. The splintered wood covered him in the rubble of it. But sadly that that would not stop dredge. Underneath the rubble his arm stuck out followed by a score of evil laughter. "A crate?!" he said under the rubble. A roar let out from not just under the rubble but everywhere a crate was thrown.

that was a very very bad move on her part. The rubble of the crates moved and suddenly hands burst out from them. Cold sharp hands of ghouls. The liquid that was in the crates were sedatives for what they contained. Dozens, and dozens of Rakghouls. Some dead from the impact but others very much alive and angry. Dredge burst up from the rubble of the crate and walked forward staff in hand it was too late now. They had to go ahead of schedule. "Go my children. Go into the night." he said pushing his hand forward. The dozens of ghouls now awaken flooded out the warehouse and out into the night of the planet. This world was prime for some infecting.

"Jeedai! I am sorry it has come to this. Perhaps in another life." Gripping his staff the lord charged forward and swung at her with the serpant. The staff made a few poisonous bites towards her midsection as he swung it at her. But he was going to press the attack now, the heretic needed to be burned and he would do just that. The other Vong had to hurry and mobilize the rest of the ghouls in the crates that weren't thrown. They had to get them out before they were wasted. Dredge continued to swing at her with his staff the serpant continuing to try and poison the jedi or at at least wound her. @[member="Rasu Gan"]

"NOOOO!" the Shi'ido screamed, realising the fatal mistake she had just made for herself and the entire population of Lujo. She had to act quickly, Rakghouls were already swarming from the crushed crates, racing out into the fresh night air. Reaching out in the Force, Rasu put all her energy into the one action, pulling her hands down as she gripped the warehouse ceiling. Cracks appeared in the top of the ceiling and the fused concrete wall towards the higher reaches of the building. She couldn't let any more of the Rakghouls escape, she would destroy the entire warehouse if she had too, even if it meant sacrificing her own life. Again pulling through the Force, Rasu finally felt the ceiling give way as giant chunks of debris fell onto the ground, crushing some of the Rakghouls closest to escaping the warehouse, however still majority of the vermin lived, attempting to scale the mountainous pile of concrete and dust. Piles of concrete still continued to descent, some crushing Yuuzhan Vong trying to free more Rakghouls from crates and others killing or wounding the infectious vermin as they tried to escape the warehouse. Although Rasu had achieved what she had attempted to do, stopping majority of the released Rakghoul's from escaping. A problem still existed however, resting solely on the few that had escaped. The Jedi would have to act quickly if she was to stop these creatures from becoming unreachable. A catastrophe like Taris could not happen again.

Activating the comlink on her wrist, she began to speak into the device, "This is Gan, several enemy creatures have escaped the warehouse. It is essential that you..." Jumping to the left, the Shi'ido was only just able to dodge the first attack of the Yuuzhan Vong leader, only being able to parry the next blow as she brought her lightsaber up to block the hissing serpent. Continuing to speak as she fought the leader, Rasu knew that it was extremely important that she got this message out to her fellow Jedi. "Several creatures escaped..." Bringing her blade up to her head, Rasu stopped a spray of acid from splashing her face, using the heat of the lightsaber to evaporate the liquid. Danger sense tingled down her spine as she leaped to the right, barely escaping a small chunk of concrete that had descended from the crumbling roof. "I need you to...eliminate them." Jumping up, she bounded over the amphistaff, fangs protruding to take a chunk out of her leg, she brought her legs up into the Vong's stomach, hoping to wind him long enough so that she could finish her message. "Do whatever you have to do, just don't let these creatures live, they're Rakghouls!" And with that, Rasu switched off the communicator, placing in her faith in the Jedi under her care to get the job down. She now turned to face the High Prophet, her own target. She would not let him leave, he would either accompany her as a prisoner or he would die at the hands of her lightsaber.

@[member="High Prophet Dredge"]

The whole facility was coming down around them, crushing a good amount of his men. He had maybe ten or fifteen men left. Moving his hand to the surviving Vong he he had a good seven of them run off to go get the ships ready to leave. They got a few ghouls out and they would serve their purposes of spreading the infection throughout the planet. Though however taking the kick to the chest was not something he expected to happen. Pushing him back a few feet the crab armor protected him quite well. It was very lightsaber resistant and could hold up against a woman who more than likely weighed less then a buck fifty. She would have to rely on her envirement and her light saber skills of she wanted to hold a candle to taking dredge down. "You know my dear, if you keep this up I will have to burn your species as heretics." he said rather politely to the Jedi. Let it not be said that Dredge was not a gentleman when it came to the opposite sex. Gripping his staff he coughed once as the ash of the ruined facility crowded around them.

It was almost like a thick blanket of fog that wrapped around the two duelists. She could barely see dredge in front of her, but this would play to his advantage. As a Vong he had a high sense of awareness of the things around him. Not through the force, but through years of being a warrior and fighting to kill Jedi just like the one in front of him. "Jeedai, I am sorry you must die." he truly did mean that but now he was done saying sorry. Now was a time for fighting and striking down the skilled warrior in front of him. He in all honesty dredge didn't like spilling the blood of aliens but when they stood in the way of the blessed path. He would do what was needed.

Almost gliding backwards into the thick fog of saw dust and concrete dust Dredge smiled as he vanished from sight. This tactic wouldn't last very long due to the dust settling but for now he would exploit it. The Yuuzhan Vong are dead in the force, they couldn't be sensed or felt in danger or thought. He was going to be a silent killer. Running forward now from a different side of the Jedi he made a slash at her mid section before vanishing into the dust once more. He didn't know if the hit had connected or not but he would follow up with another. A few more seconds later dredge came towards her from a different angle but not with a slash from the staff but with a powerful clothes line aimed towards her chest to try and knock her to the ground. @[member="Rasu Gan"]

With the message delivered, Rasu turned her focus back onto her opponent. Only to find that by bringing down the warehouse ceiling, she had covered the surrounding area in a thick cloud of debris and dirt, narrowing her vision and making it that much harder to locate the Yuuzhan Vong leader. Being Yuuzhan Vong, the species had no signature in the Force, making it nearly impossible for the Shi'ido to find her target. The thick cloud stopped her from physically spotting him and his species Force immunity provided the Jedi with hardly any means to find him. She would have to rely on only her danger sense, that would be her only way of surviving the next few minutes until the cloud had cleared.

Suddenly a sharp prickle emanated from the base of her spine, acting upon this, Rasu leaped into the air, wind from the momentum of the Vongs attack passed her leg as she made it into the dust filled sky. Landing back on the ground, the breathe was knocked out of the Shi'ido as a thick, scaly arm made contact with her chest. Looking up she caught sight of her opponents face as he sent her crashing to the ground, amphistaff already snapping its fangs in her direction. Struggling against the weight of the Vong, Rasu tried desperately to escape the tight hold of the his hands, fidgeting as she attempted to slide underneath but to no avail. Looking up at the crumbling ceiling she caught sight of a loose chunk of concrete, gripping it through the Force she brought it down, falling on top of the Vong leader. With his grip on the Shi'ido loosened, Rasu slid out of his hold on her and jumped back to her feet, lightsabers ignited in her hands.

The decent sized piece of rock hit dredge on his right shoulder, he was pretty wrapped up on trying to murder the Jedi that he had forgotten to watch his surroundings. That would not happen again, stepping back he raised the scepter of power and growled at her, "Jeedai, surly you must know that you shall die if you continue this." Dredge wasn't some all powerful god or Vong, he wasn't like the thousands of other Jedi or sith who fancied themselves as unstoppable gods that could not be killed. Dredge knew he was quite mortal. But still he was an instrument of the gods, he was needed to carve a path of death and war into the galaxy. Starting with this girl, he would beat her into a bloody pulp so she could serve as an example to the other Jedi. "I'm not going to kill you Jedi, you need to tell your republic that you failed."

Hearing the screams from the nearby town the plague had started, people were starting to turn from the escaped ghouls, there were two options now. Glass the town and everyone in it, or send in a contamination unit with the chance of failure. But that part of the story would be addressed later, for now dredge had a fight on his hands and he would take this skilled warrior head on. Though not without a little bit of help. Lifting his hand up in a circle he signaled for a few of his men to come to his aid. The rest prepared the ships to leave but at least these Vong could help him if he wanted to get out of here in a quick manner. Now charging the woman dredge laughed and brought his staff down on her saber's forcing her to block or dodge otherwise becoming snake food.

The rest of the Vong cloakers showed up to help a solid five of them, completely invisible and dead in the force. The could be seen as quick blurs as they moved but now they would focus their attacks on the Jedi knight. And none of that come at me one at a time crap that was seen in movies the group of cloakers rushed the woman tearing at her with various blades with deadly precision aiming at a few vital organs and limbs. She was outnumbered and possibly out gunned. @[member="Rasu Gan"]

"I realise that my life is indeed in extreme peril Vong," Rasu said, replying to Dredge's growl, determination began to rise within her. She quickly brought her blade up to intercept the Vongs own weapon, sparks spat this way and that as she continued to speak into the Vongs scarred face. "But you must have known that as a Jedi, I am willing to risk my own life to ensure that the lives of innocents are protected. I may not live to see the morning, but the least I can do is stop you here, preventing you from carrying out another operation like you had here." And with that she ceased speaking, her senses again raised to it's full awareness, not that it would do any good against her opponents. High pitch screams, suddenly made her heart skip a beat. Thoughts raced back to the Rakghouls that had escaped and her fellow Jedi who were supposed to be preventing any attacks. Had they failed to eliminate the few Rakghouls, now running wild on the surface of Lujo? Had they utterly failed in protecting those they had sworn to help?

Her fears had distracted her, so much so that she barely only escaped with her life as danger sense surged down her spine. Reacting upon it, she leaped into the air, disconnecting her lock with Dredge, however was not fast enough to dodge all of the blades that appeared out of nowhere. Rasu grimaced, as pain shot through her thigh. Landing upon a raised pile of fallen rubble, she took a quick look at the source of the pain, finding a deep gash running down half of her thigh. Her distractions had cost her, she now knew to stay fully focused on the fight at hand. Calling on the Force, she sent waves of it's soothing energy down to her wound, numbing the afflicted area, dulling the pain so that she may turn her full attention to the Yuuzhan Vong who were attacking her.

A sudden beeping drew her gaze down to her wrist communicator, obviously a message from one of the Jedi under her command. She also began to notice that several of her attackers were beginning to scale the pile of debris in an attempt to reach her. Hoping to slow down the ascent of her opponents, she began picking up loose chunks of ceiling through the Force, flinging them down onto her attackers as she activated the recorded message. A distressed male voice emanated from the small speaker, "Headmistress, we have been able to eliminate majority of the escaped Rakghouls, however three of the creatures are still at large. They have reached one of the smaller villages and are attacking the people there. What are your orders?" Rasu cursed under her breathe, they had vowed to protect the people of Lujo and they had failed. Now their main priority was to prevent this virus from spreading. The Shi'ido knew their only option, nut she hated the idea of what her Jedi would have to do. Weighing up the lasting affects of both, she knew what had to be done.

Still flinging concrete onto her approaching enemies, Rasu brought the communicator up to her mouth, speaking slowly and clearly, emphasising the importance of her next few words, "Burn the village! The Rakghouls have already infected the villagers there, nothing we can do will save them now. The most decent thing we can do now is end their lives before they suffer too much. Make certain that the remaining Rakghouls perish with them also. I do not want a repeat of what is about to occur. Do you understand?" There was a brief pause between the man;s reply, before a voice crackled over the speaker, seeming to be a mix of utter disbelief and disappointment. "We understand Headmistress." And with that, the communicator was silent. With the Shi'ido's decision looming in the back of her mind, Rasu turned back to face her attackers, continuing her onslaught of concrete and other debris. Keeping her opponents busy here was now her top priority, she never wanted to make a decision like that again. No Jedi should ever have had to make that decision, not on Lujo and not on any other planet either, the Rakghoul threat would end here and now, starting with the destruction of the Vong she was facing.

Dredge laughed as he began to walk the mound that the Jedi warrior had taken cover on, she truly was a great opponent a fine warrior of the republic war machine. Her defeat would prove that she and all the other Jedi were weak and ready to burn under the might of his boot. Dredge loosened the serpent into a whip form to take on the Jedi, she was hurt and it was time to move in for the kill. Or at least a solid damage dealing blow, he was not one to be played with. The Jedi had bitten off more than she could chew, it took a Jedi master to kill the last supreme overlord of the Vong during the great invasion of the galaxy. Master skywalker himself, a lonely Jedi knight stood no chance against the might that was the Yuuzhan Vong Overlord and his men. Curling the whip the Vong got ready to strike at his prey.

The incoming rocks however had something to say about that however. Coming in a breakneck speeds a few of the cloaked Vong were luckily hit leaving only two of them to do the lords bidding. And their lords bidding was to hold the Jedi scum down while he delivered his penance. Dredge laughed again as he crossed his arm to block a few pieces of debre and and dirt headed his way, having a rock strike him in the head the lord buckled and fell to his knee. That didn't just hurt him, but it hurt his pride as well. A stream of jet black blood ran down his face as he looked up at the woman. "Hold her." he said in a soft tone to her as he gritted his teeth. He was about to rock her world as the village behind him burned to the ground from the republic.

Running up silently and deadly the two cloaked Vong attempted to hold down Rasu one to each arm while dredge would begin his attack. "You will learn the hard way Jedi that you have lost!" Rearing the whip back dredge brought it and snapped it Rasu's torso across her chest. Whether she was held down or not thatch where he wanted it to connect attempting to hurt her badly. Not kill her, but hurt her so the scars she could remember him by. Afterwards dredge reared the whip back for further torture and pain on her body. @[member="Rasu Gan"]
