Just a public service announcement about the casino location. To eliminate the problem of enemies and lone wolves indiscriminately attacking the casino and our players, please set up threads set at the Casino as "Faction" threads with a note to "Ask" for any players wanting to join. That discourages people from ignoring logic and jumping into a setting in which they'd most likely be shot on sight.
Keep in mind that The Dragon Palace Casino is the Red Ravens main headquarters it is EXTREMELY hard to get into if you are not a Red Raven member. This comes directly from our submission on the factory: "The casino hires thousands of bodyguards for purposes of prevention of cheating and maintaining security. Weapon scanners and sensors sit at the main and only entrance into the casino." Thousands of bodyguards, including organics and battle droids. Anybody entering the casino would realistically be scanned and disarmed before even being able to set foot in the place.
I'm not averse to casino attack threads, but since it's our main base in our main capital, attacks on it should be treated as an Invasions or a Skirmish, and all the relevant details should be worked out with myself and other faction leaders first.
If a player comes to you asking for a shoot out at the casino, let me know. I don't want to squash the idea if it's fun for everyone. We could work out a more realistic scenario (like covert infiltration) that wouldn't involve the player being shot on sight the moment he or she started trouble.
