DESCRIPTION
The Clans of Mereel and Fett have long been allies, since the ancient days of the Republic and Clone Wars. It is perhaps then, no surprise that the elder A'lor of House Mereel has a great esteem and admiration for the hunter Koda Fett , despite divergent and often at odd's philosophies. But in the younger, the armorer sees the younger side of himself. Grit, determination, a will of steel and ice for the blood in his veins. And in that mirrored perception exists no small amount of affection on the fatherly Gar'buir.
When the Fett visited him needing hefty repairs to his beskar'gam, Ijaat couldn't let it go at just an emergent favor, and extracted a promise from the wayward hunter to not totally abandon his Mandalorian roots and identity. In exchange, perhaps the greatest pistol ever to leave his forge was given, a favorite DE-10 with specialized internals from stolen Chiss blueprinters, all created from specialized dallorian alloy the same as the pistols of the legend Jango Fett.
The note with it explained the smith had named the gun 'A Pale Horse' for he who rode/wielded it would be known as unto Death itself.
