Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy

The notorious moon of mercenaries, bounty hunter and smuggler loomed into view out of Tin'tinag's window, the yellow hue from the abundances of lights making all the major populated areas visible from space. Flying closer to the moon on an approach vector, she had to suddenly swerve her freighter out of the way of an incoming X-wing, the ship slightly groaning under strain from maneuver. "kriffing drunk pilots, your lucky I don't have a gunner with me, other wise I'd order them to shoot you down"!. Her yelling was to no avail but it made her fell better, letting out some anger every now and then was good to keep from getting over-stressed, and being in her profession meant that happened a lot.

Giving a aspirated sight she focused on trying to land the ship safely in the closet space port, as to avoid any more reckless pilots. "I hope this trip was worth it, I don't care about how many job opportunities their are on this world it's not enough to risk getting killed over" The multitude of lights from the moons surface slightly blinded her as she approached the space dock, making sure to fly carefully constantly watching out for any more maniacs in the sky. As the ship started it decent into one of the docks she stood up giving a reliving sight before stretching, her bones giving a satisfying crack thankful that this trip was over.

Moving out of the cockpit into the crew area she picked up some of her weapons and attached them to her belt, one DL-44 blaster pistol, one electro whip and 2 thermal and ion detonators. Releasing the doors of the ship she was greeted by the smell of the city, being the first time on the Nar Shadaa it felt alien as strange, compared to the nicer planets shed been to. "right first thing first, get a drink, I need a break after that flight".

Paying what ever fee she needed to keep her ship here she made her way out of the space port, her brown robe/like clothing being a bit out of place for this planet. "should have brought my regular suit and vest, eh who cares". Coming to the entrance she looked around inspecting the other people, not knowing where the nearest cantina was and would have to ask for direction. Perhaps she could also suck in some poor sod to buy said drinks for her, spending money was not something she personally liked, unless their was and abundance of it.

After the cantina visit a job of any sorts would be required to make this trip worth it, hacking, smuggling, stealing or perhaps a bit of possible bounty hunteing(depending on the circumstances). Any of that list would do just fine, she wasn't too picky as long as it paid well.

marcus was walking away from the spaceport as he saw the freither land, he stood there a second looking as the ship came in, he looked as [member="Tin'tinag"] , exited the ship, "probably a first time visit here" he muttered to himself "new smuggler i geas"he shook his head, "geas Thad is why this is the smugglers moon" she seemed disoriented so he decide to walk up to her "hey there looking fore directions?"

Marcus Lund said:
"hey there looking fore directions?"
The man that approached didn't appear to be a mercenary of any kind, though the robotic arm also made her conclude he want's a smuggler either, to be honest the mans hypothetical profession eluded her, what type of work did he do. It might have seemed like a rudimentary thing to look into, but she always liked to know what a person did for a living before deciding to hang with them. "you could say that, but why are you offering me help, not many people just randomly walk up to another offering something without getting something in return". Something about this guy put her off, like he was hiding something, but that could have been a multitude of things, she briefly looked around again before giving a shrug, "I guess directions to the nearest cantina, and if you have any possible job opportunities I might be interested in taking them up".

[member="Marcus Lund"]

Marcus smiled at [member="Tin'tinag"] "wel i could be trying to help beceas i am in a good mood, or maybe i just try to help, sines your not gonna find anyone els on the planet Thad won't want anything in return even fore something as trivial as just giving directions" he pointed to a local cantina only about half a block away "there is the nearest cantina, you could folowe me if you want, i was just about to get a drink anyway" he thought fore a moment about her question "i don't have any work fore you, i don't have any use fore a smuggler at this time, toug i am sure there are anof people around Thad could provide you whit work"

She found it slightly strange that someone would be willing to help other's simple because they were nice, though Jedi did on a planet full of people out for there own selfish desires something like that was very rare."That's not really a problem, I'm sure there's a lot of thing I could give in return and somehow come out on top, but thanks for your consideration". She reasoned that this person wasn't some sort of thief luring her into some back ally to rode as no one would be stupid enough to fall for it, even a newcomer like her, beside despite the bionic arm nothing really screamed, bad person to her, perhaps the man as just here out of circumstances.

If he proved to be useful in the long run she might offer him a ride off world id he needed it, if he was good with electronics she could use him as part of a crew."I guess you can occupancy me, perhaps we can get to know each other a little better over some whisky", She let him lead the way towards the canitna, "Not to worry, I'm sure ill be able to pick up some sort f work, if not i can always try 'other methods'. She wasn't going to elaborate on said methods, this guy might not react well to stealing, she will keep him guessing for now.

[member="Marcus Lund"]

He smiled at her "thad sounds like a great idea" as the walked to the bar he chuckled "yes you could get some credits truw other methods, beceas half the planet does so"he turned around to her whit a serious look fore a second "just remember if you value your live, never try to steal from a hutt, most others are fair game" as the walked into the cantina he wlked up to the bar tender, it was a large Weequay, after striking up a conversion whit the man, seemingly knowing the bartender he returend to [member="Tin'tinag"] whit 2 whiskeys and handed her one "here you go"

He chucked at his comment about robbing a Hutt, "you would have to be brain dead to try that, or the most dangerous bounty hunter in the outer-rim, and beside i have even more methods to get what I want". Upon coming into the bar she noted the type of people present, it seemed roughly the same but less patrons and more of everything else, still nothing out of the ordinary, she also saw a few drunks giving her odd looks, anyone's guess was that they were checking out her body, something she was actually proud of and used quite a lot. Approaching the bar she almost ran into [member="Marcus Lund"] as he turned around with 2 whiskies and handed her one.

"Thanks, how's about we sit down for a bit, I still don't have any Idea who you are and what you do" She had several idea on what he did, but for all she knew the guy could have been a jack-of-all-trades, besides it's much more interesting to hear if from the persons own mouth. Sipping her drink she sat down putting her legs on the table and lending the cyborg and ear for the moment.

he sat down at the table and leaned back in his seat taking a sip of his drink "wel the name is Marcus Lund, and wat i do depends on who you ask, though i geas you could cal me a bit of a mad scientist, Thad at least seems to be the best description i have heard anyone give of it" he siad whit a smile "as fore you i geas your a smuggler, but i haven'd chanced you name, Miss ...?"

"Just call me Tin'tinag, I have no proper name, he and yes your right i am a smuggler, I guess you could say that the life chose me, had really no were else to do an getting thing's places without other's knowing was a specialty of mine". She put her legs down and looked him in the eye, "so tell me what does a 'Mad scientist like you do, I wanna hear all the detail, because if sounds like you would have a lot of fun stories to tell". Not many people opening admitted to being a mad scientist, it was one of those things you saw on old holo movies, she would have guessed they guy was a tinkerer, building contraptions in his spare time for fun. Though she could scene that this man had more to him that just that, but all that did was make her more interested in him.

[member="Marcus Lund"]

"wel oke Tin'tinag, Thad is gone be a long story though" he said before taking a other sip of his drink "wel i tinker a lot whit al kinds of machines i can fine, repair anything useful i can get my hands on, built weird and wonderful contraptions, i dissect corpses, i do al kinds of experiments, work with biologic samples from said corpses, i tinker whit combine organic and mechanical parts, and i try to look fore knowledge on about anything i can find. Thad sort of ting is wat i do." he took a other sip of his drink after his story.

She coughed slightly at his mention of dissecting corpse, she gave him a slight 'are you for real' look while trying not to choke on her drink. 'this guy really is a mad scientist, what are the chances o running into a persons like this'. Regaining her composure she prepared to keep talking with a straight face, she wasn't sure weather to be freaked out, afraid or just amused by his description of himself. "well since you went into such detail about you I guess its only fair I do the same, my job mainly entails taking things under radar for contractors, personal item 'acquirement' and giving lifts to people who want off world but are too 'well know' to leave via normal methods. She wasn't sure why she was being so careful about her choice of words, perhaps it was just out of habit, she'd doubt anyone would care about what deeds she had done in the past. "So want to inquire about any jobs now"?

[member="Marcus Lund"]

He laughed as he saw her responses "not used to Thad kind of work i see" he said and took a drink before looking at her again "wel it sounds like you do the same kind of jobs half the planet does" he said and nodded at her question "lets get you some work"

As [member="Marcus Lund"] continued to speak a random though came to mind about why he was at the space port. Thinking for a bit an idea came to mind, "sure you don't have a job for me, it seemed a bit strange that you were wandering around the space port, people only do that if they are waiting for someone, and since you decided to talk to me you must have need of a smuggler". It may not have been the best logic but she decided to press it anyways, if this man did have need of her skill's it would save a lot of time. Taking another sip from her glass she continued on "even if you did help me out of your kindness a tinker like you does not just make stuff for the fun of it all the time, you must have buyers of some sort, and if so I can help you get said items to buyers, mush faster that you could".

Marcus smiled "Thad is a accurate deduction, was just trying to see if you could figer it out" he stood up "maybe i got a job fore you after al, but it requires complete secrecy, so it is best we do not discus it here" he walked in the direction of the exit, "i live close to here, we could discus the job further there"

Deductive reasoning wasn't really the main reason she knew the man was hiding something, the force gave a slight indication that he was keeping secrets and it looked as if she had found out why. "I won't tell any one, that would give me a bad reputation if i gave away me employers secrets", she was already staring to suspect what he could want her to deliver, [member="Marcus Lund"] didn't seem to be someone who dealt in illegal items so what ever needed delivering it was probably the place that posed the problem. "Lead the way, ill be right behind you" finishing her drink quickly and making her way out of the bar in-toe of the mad scientist, a feeling seemed to emanating with her that this job would be one to remember.

As the walked toward his apartment, he heard suspicions sound like somewan was breaking a lock, a anger crept in his face "I just hope Thad wasn't my door"he rushed forward and saw to his dismay Thad his assumption had been correct 5 tugs had broken into his apartment one standing outside the door the other busy rummaging thruwe the apartment, "oke nowe i am mad " he said as he ruched forward hitting the first thug strait in the somage whit his mechanical fist, and the man was send flying into his apartment crasing agiens the back wal, whit anof fore to create a slight crak in the wall.

The sound of ransacking was a very common sound to her, mainly because she did it on an often enough occasions. "If your apartment has anything valuable in it, then I think it was". She watched form a distance getting her electro staff out, looking back to see [member="Marcus Lund"] hitting the first thug into the wall with a huge amount of force. 'Make a note, don't piss this guy off', one of the thugs mates cam out to see what the commotion was about only for her to hit him in the head with her staff delivering a knock out electric shock before letting him drop to the ground. "Normally i wouldn't care about intervening in a robbery, but since you are robbing a potential client, I'm going to have to kick your asses", she twirled the electro staff around a few time entering a combat stance, awaiting the thugs next moves.

marcus looked around stil enraged "you are gone pay fore this"he said as he hit an other thug in the stomage flat whit his hand, toug ti looked a lot les forceful than the last puch this time he gave a shock to the tug strogn anof to fry him, the body of the tog spacemd as arch od electricity ran over his skin, he fel to the ground the body chat were the mechanical hand hat impacted him, he puled his hand back getting back into a fighting stance redy fore the next tug, a tug heading toward [member="Tin'tinag"] fel as a mechanical hadn Thad lay around on the floor grab at the tugs ankle.

She looked on with interest at [member="Marcus Lund"] fighting style, that arm packed a punch and a lot of power, "That's some armament you have their, seems we both have a thing for electric weapons", she gave a slight smirk before dogging a vibro blade from another thug, delivering an elbow to their back before smacking them in the head with her staff, sending another knock out shock to them. Though using her force powers to speed thing up would help, she did not want to give it away just yet, beside hand to hand fighting was fun, it had been a while since she had done it.

he smiled "just a improvement on my original arm after a bit of an accident" an other thug thru a punch at him and he chatched it wit hes mechanical hand clamping down on the tug's fust until his bones broke, after Thad he punched the by Thad pint screaming thug in the face knocking him out instantly, giving him a last kick to make sure he staid down "damn thief, not like i got anything whit value hidden away anyway"
