Todd had been trying to get his hands of a few drugs for a while, not for personal use, or well if the situation demanded it then for personal use. Though he was trying to restock the pain killers in his kit, whenever he performed surgery on anyone, they'd be useful after. Though he could always take from his stock of dilaudid, he preferred to keep that for those he cared more about. This was a trip to grab some oxycodone, hard to find without a medical license, technically he had one, just not in the system he was wandering around at that time. This caused more "desperate" means to be taken, illegally gaining access to it and the sort.
He was given a tip by some man he met in a bar, the man said, "Ya if you head down the road, take a left, you'll find a supplier." The man was clearly on drugs this could be told based on the man's eyes, they were pinpoint, even in the light of the bar. Where he had gotten the drugs from didn't matter though, probably from the directed location if logical thinking is used. So Todd obliged, bought the man a drink and went to go check out the tip. The streets were damp with rats running across them, foot traffic had cleared up as it was getting late.
Deeper into the alley the smells of all manners of plants and extracts filled the air. The tip was clearly not a bad one, or well yet a bad one. Upon happening down the alley he knocked on a door, a man sliding open a window to greet him. "Ya?"
"Looking for a supply of oxycodone, epinephrine, and morphine."
"We ain't got drugs here, that shit is terrible for you."
"Not only can I smell it, I was told to come here by what I would assume is a consumer of yours. I have money, I just need the drugs."
The man peered down either end of the alley and swiftly closed his window. A few clacks were heard on the other side of the door, clearly locks being opened, and the street was bathed in the purple lights of the room.
"Red makes it just as hard to find the vein and doesn't take away adjust your eyes."
"I didn't ask."
Walking further in Todd was directed to sit in a chair and wait as he'd get the supplies. "Just have the money ready when I come out." With that Todd reached into an inner pocket on his trench coat and pulled out what he assumed was more than sufficient, but kept them hidden in his hand. Not for a second would he trust any of these drugs, the first thing he would do when he got to his ship is clean them out of anything unnecessary. He had some of the supplies to make them but not the main ingredients. So he sat and waited for the return of the man.
