Public A Plan?

Darth Faef Darth Faef

The Fleet had migrated.

With the decline of The Outer Planetary Alliance, The First Order had become a powerful player in the regions where The Elysium Empire had once presided. It was an irritating but unavoidable turn of events. With The Elysium Empire's stalemate against The now-weakened Agents of Chaos, the fleet had been unable to resist any other powers around Bespin. With only a few Elysium-designed Star Destroyers left, some damaged to the point where they were simply transports, The Empire had migrated and spread out around Mustafar, Alzoc III, and Dagobah.

The planets were selected for several reasons. Mustafar and Dagobah were picked due to their ability to conceal troops on the ground. Alzoc III was close to The CIS, allowing for quick raids, trade interception, and possible communication-tapping against them.

With the move came a load of work for The Empire, from creating networks in the populace of Alzoc III to repairing the fleet, to creating small outposts on the planets. Heath Valhoun never asked his people to do things that he wouldn't do himself, so when the six-man group was sent to a very small town on Alzoc III with extreme loyalty to The Empire, Heath had made the decision to go with them. The goal was to create a relationship with the loyal town, and plan future operations against The CIS.

Having The King of The Empire present would be a huge honor for the town. However it didn't come without risks. Not everyone would take kindly to having a man as controversial as Heath in their home. Therefore as a precaution Heath wore a light blaster-resistant vest under his clothes, and a heavy blaster pistol was at his side. He hoped it wouldn't come to a fight but one could never know.

In a few moments the shuttle would land and the six men would meet a townsman to escort them to the town. Heath closed his eyes, preparing for the possible challenges ahead.

Definitely Not A Cinnamon Roll
Darth Faef couldn't believe she was assigned to this. She was a Sith, not some courrier! She waited for the shuttle to land, and when it did, she approached the ramp. "I am Darth Faef. I will be your escort." She said.

High above the planet Seswenna hung the command ship of Anashla’s sector armada the C.N.S. Hell Hound, she was currently in her quarters reading over the latest reports from the front line of the Red War, so named by the powers that be on Naboo. The collapse of the Outer Planets Alliance had left a void in the systems to the south and nature abhors a vacuum. In time all manner of malcontents had taken root along the borders of the Confederacy and sought to fill that void. The Confederacy however would not allow that to happen and had pushed deeper into the southern systems seeking to liberate those who suffer at the hands of ambitious men.
Anashla’s armada bore the brunt of the expanse south, it was arrayed on several fronts either defeating pirates and slavers where they were found or carrying out humanitarian efforts on worlds that had already been freed through such efforts. Though some would see conquest the simple truth was the Confederacy wanted stability in the southern systems and they had the means to ensure it.
As she finished reading the final report a channel was opened to her quarters. “Ma’am, we are getting reports of irregular movement in the region of Alzoc III.” she paused as she listened then let out a deep sigh as he finished speaking then she rose from her chair. “We will investigate the situation and report back to High Command if necessary. Jump us to Stewjon lets see what exactly we are dealing with, the rest of our forces will remain here until needed.”
Despite being a Super Star Destroyer, the walk from her quarters to the bridge was mercifully short thanks to some forward thinking by the engineer who built it, she felt the massive ship lurch forward as it jumped into hyperspace. The High Marshall stepped onto the bridge straightening her uniform as she did. Turning her eyes up ahead of her she looked out the viewport as the ship sped through hyperspace.

Heath paused for a second, taking in the shocking revelation that the escort that stood in front of him was in fact a Sith, or at least a dark Jedi. Perhaps he had misheard the young Torgrutan female. Though the orange hue to her eyes and the type of clothing she wore certainly made her look like a Sith "Pardon...did you say 'Darth'?" If she was indeed a Sith or dark Jedi things could become interesting. The Elysium Empire didn't have many loyal Force Users. Assuming she was loyal, of course, though the town likely wouldn't send someone disloyal to meet the King that they served.

The confused King was awaiting the Torgrutan's response when his communication device buzzed. He had told the fleet to only contact him if there was something significant happening. He'd just landed, surely there wasn't an emergency already. Sighing, he lifted his index finger to the Torgrutan and answered the call. "Sir, we are detecting a large ship or cluster of ships headed in our direction. How shall we respond?" Great. It could be one of a list of things. Perhaps a trade fleet with escorts, or maybe it was a CIS fleet on patrol. Regardless it wasn't worth risking an engagement...the Elysium fleet couldn't win an engagement of any size currently. With another sigh, this one larger than before, Heath replied "Alright, tell the detachment to retreat outside of Alzoc III space. Avoid contact, I will report to you when it's time to leave."

Situation avoided. He thought, returning his attention to the girl with an apologetic smile on his face.

Interesting. Heath certainly had not expected a Sith, or Dark Jedi, or even a normal jedi to be here. Was she truly with the allies in the town, or was she an agent sent by one of the many enemies of The Elysium Empire? It would be a large risk to follow her, but it'd also be a mess if she truly was with the allies and he declined to follow her. Even if she was a foe and he refused, what would stop her from simply killing him at that point? The Elysium Empire needed him alive. He would follow her, maybe his situation would improve.

"I wasn't expecting a Sith to ally herself with The Empire." Heath said with a slight smile to show the innocence of the statement, "We only have a few Force users that have shown any interest in our cause. On the other side of things....well, one tried to destroy our Star Destroyer from the inside. The woman nearly killed me."

It was true, one woman had attacked the ship and caused part of the hangar to collapse on him. It took weeks in the Bacta tank to recover. He hated that sticky Blue substance, no matter how soothing it could be. That event caused him to be extra weary of Force Users. However he would never take their rights away. The Elysium Empire was for everyone, so long as the majority of that group caused no problems, they would be integrated. Of course this mindset didn't include The Bryn'Adul.

They would never be welcomed.

And so it was revealed. She wasn't an ally, but she surely wasn't a foe or she wouldn't have told him her allegiance. Heath was unsure of what action to take. He stopped following the girl, asking her plainly "If you aren't an ally then why are you helping. How do I know this isn't a trap?" Perhaps it was the wrong move, but it was probably better than blindly following the Sith without true protection. If she was a real sith, six men wouldn't be nearly enough to stop her.

He had a bad feeling about this.
