A beautiful compact system. Usually two cannisters carried side by side, in a bag, on the back, or one on each hip. They can clip on to most belts or armor with ease. While the weight is noticeable, much like carrying an extra handheld blaster, it is a small price to pay for the potential medial assistance this kit offers. The duravlex is a high grade durasteel, with additional heat resistance to protect the often sensitive materials inside the kit, the canisters temperature is regulated to be what is required for the materials inside.
The orange container has immediate first aid supplies, like bacta, bandages, sedatives and adrenaline patches. The darker container has short term patient care, with things such as vaccines, antibiotics, survival blankets, and splints contained within. While there is much here to use, for extended deployments that suffer logistical issues, keeping a full medkit supplied can be difficult.
It was no easy task to convince the reputable Dr Harris to part with the recipe for her latest invention. Rumor has it Apex representatives had to spend three months in negotiations with her assistant and donate to two nearby scientific foundations to get their foot in the door.
