A "presumably" simple photo edit

I'm looking to have an image of a coin edited to have the writing on it say something else. I am by no means connoisseur in photo editing and have absolutely no idea how easy or difficult this task may be. However, I would very much appreciate if anyone would be willing to help me with this.
