A questions about metals.

I had a thought, Running Orphen who is going to end up as more or less a Jedi Artisan, cos, they're awesome.

Would I be able to formally create my own alloy based off of elements which already exist?

In the same way which durasteel is made from: carvanium, lommite, carbon, meleenium, neutronium, and zersium. Would I be able to make my own alloy of similar nature from its own series of components, name it accordingly etc? Do a Dev thread (much like how you would do an AI) where Orphen would write a thesus on the properties of the alloy and its uses.

Just a cool kinda thing.

Yes, you can create your own alloys and metals.

It would be subbed to the Technology Forum of the Factory and the dev thread could be anything from studying the finished product of the material to making the material itself. Depending on what you envision for the outcome however the dev thread will likely need to be substantial.
