A second character...

I've become attached to my first and only character Lupe Baracka, but I think it is time to make a second character. What factions are interesting at this point in time?

CIS is doing some major reformatting, and has shiny new things! Ok, kinda. They're a lot of open spots and originations that could defiantly use some help.
One Sith are on total conquest mode right now.
New Order are promoting rapidly, and expanding. I think a mandalorian war is upcoming.
Levanite Sanctium is doing peaceful things. I haven't seen much on them.
I would mention the Sith Council, but even having free cake didn't save them...

Omega Protectorate if you like playing a soldier, they seem to have a lot of soldier characters. They also have a very cool, unique and extensive manifest. Another option as a soldier character is the Sixth Battalion which is a sub-group of the Silver Jedi Order.

Silver Jedi Order if you like to be a Jedi without political ties. There's a great deal of opportunities within the Order, not excluding the military, medical units, philosophers and so forth. They still participate in the defence of Republic planets in an attempt to maintain peace as a Jedi order. Plus, they do a lot of neat story-driven campaigns.
