A Series Of Unfortunate Events (OOC Discussion)

Simply put who would be interested in an rp where by through mysterious force mumbo jumbo innocent victims are lured towards a planet and crash land. For some strange reason electronics of any sort aren't working and possibly an interference with one's connection of the force. I don't know I'll get a raise of hands on that last part.

So basically we'll be forced to try and survive on a hostile planet without the assistance of technology and possibly the force. While playing my own character I will also being taking control of a number of NPCs cuz lots of peeps need to die and we don't want our characters to be among them. Freaking plot armor. Got to keep up the illusion of danger somehow.

So anyone interested?

Yea does seem like a lot of sith are signing up aren't they. At least there is Morgana to keep you company. I was thinking we could all be in like groups of 2-4 people not counting NPCs and eventually all find each other into one big group and then drama and what not. Hopefully in an effort to survive the jedi and sith will look past their allegiances. Though it wouldn't be fun without some sort of tension.

Again though should we disrupt the force? It's kinda hard for the sith and jedi to kill each other when they have no light sabers or force powers to kill each other with.

I'd say have the Force fluctuate. Possibly set it to some sort of IC timing mechanism.

Example:
"Unbeknownst to the people stranded on the planet, but it's core is a powerful mechanism wrought during the dark ages of the galaxy by the rakata. The purpose of the planet is truthfully unknown, but periodically it draws people to itself. During these periods of activity higher level physics and thermo-dynamics are suspended, leaving people on the planets surface without the benefit of electricity, blasters, lightsabers and anything above gunpowder level. Seemingly connected to this thermo-dynamic dampening field is an intermittent disruption of the Force. At some times it acts naturally, at other points in time it seems to not exist and still other times the manifestations of the Force are altered..."
