A Silence in the Streets

It was a typical evening in the streets of the Corellian Sector. Nar Shaddaa was a perfect place to get lost in, and a rather difficult place to find someone in. Fortunately, the golden-skinned humanoid had paid good money from a reliable source as to where her target was. Unfortunately, the eccentrically-coloured broker couldn't give her more than the general area said target tended to visit at a specific time.

She sighed, but her eyes never stopped scanning the crowd below her. One of these people had something she wanted, or at the very least knew where she could find it. The wind pulled at her hood, but she kept it pulled over her head; with the sun setting and the night sky to her back, her robes would provide her with enough camouflage to go unnoticed.

Just as her eyes watched the crowd, her mind was watching the currents of the Force, making sure she was staying out of the public eye. One could never be too careful..

Grim wasn't hard to find. Being 12 foot tall, and multiple hundred pounds made him quite the sight. He even dwarfed the Wookies, what few there were by several feet. The ground around him tremmored somewhat with every step he took, weighed down by heavy armor, and with a savage looking War Axe upon his back.

He was not being careful about his surroundings, casually forcing people aside or, trampling them underfoot if they were unlucky enough to not get away soon.

He projected a quiet aura of dread, and a very loud aura of fury and hatred for the people around him. This was a creature raised from birth to kill, maim, burn and savage things.

And there he was, right on time. Her eyes narrowed as he rounded a corner into sight, looking him up and down from her rooftop perch. She knew her target would be large, but seeing it in real life put things into a bit more perspective. Clearly this was going to require a bit of finesse.

Luckily, she was the type who came prepared for the job. She sat back, moving just out of sight of the roof's edge, opening the pouch she had hung on her belt. Every trip, she brought a different toxin or two with her, and today's was one of her favourites: a vial of lecepanine, a powerful paralytic agent. Vial in one hand, she extracted one of the half dozen throwing knives she carried on her belt from its sheath. After applying the toxin to the blade, she resheathed it and repeated the process with two more of them.

Once her preparations were complete, she looked over the edge as her target lumbered by. She could sense the fury in him and scowled; one wrong move, and this could explode into violence with unnecessary casualties. She wanted to get him away from the closing market, and the best way to direct a force of anger such as this was to get its attention.

So she reached into the ocean of the Force and found the giant before her, wrapping the currents of her mind around the war axe strapped to his back.. and yanked it sideways, towards the rooftop where she stood. At the same time she stood and whistled shrilly, then turned and ran away from the sun, hoping he would give chase.

"Raaaagh!" He bellowed, whipping about in anger, sending several humans that had accidentally moved to closed stumbling, one of them falling over the pit and tumbling to his death many thousands of meters below.

Aggh...He hated these places. Too many people, all around, everything so....Calm. No murder, no bloodshed. It all grated on him, chipping away at him. His fingers curled around his Axe tight, gripping the sturdy metal with a white knuckled fury. Several nearby pedestrians took hurried steps back, and one scream was heard, followed by a slowly massing panic as Grim's rage grew again.

He could kill them all. The voices screamed. Do it. Do it now! Kill them! Crush them. His hand snapped out, wrapping around some man's skull. He growled, tightening his grip as the man screamed. And then, the screaming stopped as the bones cracked and crushed and crumbled in his fist, and the man's shattered form was dropped to the ground.

The fear turned into a full on panic, people attempting to get away from the carnage

Her hopes had not been met. That was okay, though she did bow her head slightly at feeling the first presences exiting the Force, leaving only slowly fading whirlpools in their wake.

Your time came sooner than you thought. Rest now.

If she didn't send them to the next world, who would? She sighed and returned to the roof's edge, then leaped down into the marketplace, landing nimbly in a crouch. Her hand shot up, a flick of her finger rippling through the Force and bouncing off the back of the mad giant's skull. He was a good ten meters away, so she had time in case he tried to charge her. A subtle suggestion through the Force cleared the path between herself and her quarry.

She had really hoped there would be no need for bloodshed, but it seemed that no plan survives contact with the enemy.

"COME MEET YOUR END" The frothing Berserker bellowed as he turned around, and charged, crashing through anyone not wary enough to stumble out of his way. No elegance, no honor, no style....pure unadulterated blood lust and butchery.

Should the would be assassin find itself trapped between Grim and unable to evade, The giant would slam into the small girl, with the equivalent impact force of a battering ram.

And that brutal Axe, the one that had been toyed with earlier, was coming free from it's sheath, grasped in the Giant's fist

Jakkor had only been on Nar Shaddaa for only a day or two. He was gathering survival rations for his journey in the Outer rim. The smugglar's moon was filled with weird characters anyone could get lost here if they wanted to even Force Sensitives. The planet was brimming with the force itself sometimes when he was here Jakkor felt as if he was on a mini Coruscant. As he walked out he noticed people running and screaming through the market as if they were in a panic. Jakkor mutters to himself "What the kriff is going on here?" He rushes pass crowd's of people sensing the danger, fear, and confusion through the force. He see's a woman engaging what only Jakkor could describe was a large beast he has never seen before, not to mention all the dead bodies littering the market square. Preferring not to get into conflict the Tusken Jedi thought it was best to observe. He used the force to jump to a near rooftop and watch how this fight will play out.
"This is most strange why are these two fighting.. could it be just simple bounty hunting. This is most interesting" He crouched keeping his backpack of newly bought supplies close to him.

At least she had his attention now. It had taken enough lives for him to focus his efforts on her..

Her eyes narrowed. As a Firrerreo, she was much stronger than she appeared, but against a target of this magnitude, even her impressive hidden strength would mean next to nothing. She obviously couldn't meet him head-on.. There was no time to really plan ahead, though.

So she ran forward to meet him, then jumped upward, the Force augmenting her leap to propel her over his head height. As she leaped, she held her arms back, allowing her to cloak to come off. Hopefully, the garment would land over his eyes as he ran. If not, she could find a use for it later as a distraction. If he kept moving forward, he would find himself with a Dark Jedi at his back.

All this, for just a little bit of information..

He watched the woman, and reached out with the force. He sensed there was a darkness in the girl not Sith....Dark Jedi. It became clear as she leaped over the monster losing the cloak revealing a humanoid, that Jakkor could guess was a Firrerreo. She was strong in the force and obviously a skilled assassin. He continued to watch Intriuged his precense still unnoticed by the girl he spoke. "Most Interesting indeed." He stood watching what played out before him.

The Anime Character Guru
Lime was on a roof near the fight, watching, "damn, looks like someone found Grim before me."
"I don't know if I should execute the executed or work with them but, I think I'll wait it out for one of them to die, if the other assassin dies I'll kill Grim, if Grim dies I'll kill the other assassin, sounds like a good plan." He could sense two force users though, one he thought he might have recognized, but he wasn't so sure about that.
