She had never been to Bothawaui and was eager to see the lush flora environment. The shuttle followed the Manda Merchant Route and landed at an urban terminal in the financial district. Her grey silk suit concealed a shimmering form fitting tunic, which accentuated every detail of her body. The suit was an ironic metaphor for her precious consignment. The gray metallic case contained data tapes. Information so sensitive that it had to be hand delivered to the CEO of the Bothan Banking Network. Her instructions were specific and every detail was mandatory.
She knew Dresselese but only a few words of Bothese. The BBN office was brisk walk from the shuttle terminal. The building was polished duracrete with prism shaped windows. As she passed through the lobby she observed a porter delivering food. He went office to office leaving trays of food. She walked quickly trying to avoid any delay. A secretary, part humanoid part protocol droid blocked her path to Mr. Rjin’s suite. Cutter Blush smiled and announced that she was delivering time sensitive data to the CEO. In a monotone voice the secretary informed Blush that Rjin was not in the office. “I’ll wait.” The secretary informed her that Rjin had left for the day. “This is of the utmost importance that I give him this case.” The porter came to hall in front of the secretary’s desk. The secretary left her desk to get a tray of food. Blush looked at Rjin’s appointment log that indicated that he was at Dazzles, Alpha 4 Delta Merchant Square. The secretary returned with a tray of snacks. Blush smiled “Here is my business card.”
Dazzles was a glitzy club which offered libations and vice. Blush removed her conservative knee length skirt to show her short tunic. Then she opened her jacket to reveal her décolleté. She moved through the club looking for Rjin. A large hairy Bothan Bouncer approached Blush “I am looking for Rjin.” He grinned and motioned that she should follow him. They climbed a spiral staircase, which stopped at the top level of the building. He opened a door and ushered her into a large gaming room. It was wall-to-wall games of chance. Rjin sat at a table with three others: a Bothan, and two humanoids. Rjin was easy to spot. He was elegant, slightly out of place. She moved slowly and stood behind him. He was about to bet his hand when she leaned down to speak to him. She was a distraction and made the Bothan angry. The Bothan took the table and flipped it over, then lunged at Rjin. The Bouncer joined in. It was a full-blown brawl. Food and drinks were flying through the air. Furniture was trashed. Blush took cover behind the bar to wait it out.
