A Small Bit of Niman (Vulpesen)

Coruscant
The small, grey hooded figure stood at the steps up to the Jedi Temple. Her head raised, revealing the face of a Yodaling. She remember the temple, her short time here as a Padawan under Master Sochi Ru. Until Sochi Ru left, of course. But Minna also remembered Master Vulpesen, who trained her in the Ataru Form. She had to hope Vulpesen was still here, as she needed to learn another form, Niman, and she couldn't think of anyone better to do it. But it wasn't just the training she was after, no, she hadn't had a good, old discussion in a long time, and she had the feeling Master Vulpesen would want to talk about why she had left the order.
So Minna walked around, without her walking stick this time, lowering her hood to ask people of the whereabouts of [member="Vulpesen"] and slowly making her way inside the temple...

Vulpesen's boots clicked against the halls of the temple as he walked down the wide corridors. The jedi let out a small sigh as he thought of the empty space around him. The temple used to be filled with people, but in these recent months, people had started to dissapprear. Friends and colleagues abandoned the republic to join factions like the silver jedi. Of course Vulpesen couldn't pick them up and drag them back, but there were quite a few times that he wished he could.

"Ace, what are we gonna do?" The question prompted another silent discussion, however this stopped when Vulpesen lifted a finger to silence the Ashlan wolf, sensing a familiar presence. Being one with the living force gave a jedi a very good sense of people, easily singling them out from others. However this presence was one that shouldn't be in the temple. Searching the faces by the temple steps, Vulpesen would quickly catch sight of @Minna. "And here I thought you'd run off to train under Alexandra."

Minna turned to Vulpesen as soon as he spoke, giving a small smile. "Easy, my decision to leave was not..." Her face looked slightly more serious as she turned her head to look around. "My Master left, Sochi Ru... A path of Balance, I was offered in replacement..." The Yodaling had never thought she would feel guilty over the decision, but now she started to feel that as she looked around at the temple, the same temple she had promised her mother she would become knighted in. "Miss the temple, I do. But, too far into my new path, I am now. Take my test for Knighthood, I soon will." Minna nodded, her gaze returning to look at Vulpesen. "Understand, I hope you will." Her smile came back slightly, with a face as if she was asking for forgiveness...

Vulpesen listened to her words. There was a part of him that wanted to yell at her, fight her, make her pay for abandoning the order. Had he been a crueler person, it likely would have happened. Of course, no such things would transpire. Vulpesen was a jedi and he would not abandon himself to anger. He realized that the path was not for everyone and [member="Minna"] had her reasons for going. "Very well, but know that you are always welcome to rejoin our order. So, what brings you here today?"

Return, be a Jedi. Her mother would have told her. But her mother wasn't here. Minna fell silent for some moments, trying to clear her head. She had to finish her Knight training before she went anywhere, she couldn't throw away her hard work. "Thank you, Master Vulpesen. Come for training, I do." It felt weird asking of training from an order she left, but it was her only hope of furthering her learning. "The Lightsaber form of Niman, I am interested in. Sadly, at the grey temple, teach it, they do not." She lowered her head. What was she doing? She had left the order to learn elsewhere, and here she was, returning not to be forgiven or to rejoin their ranks, but to exploit them of teachings. It is merely a favour, not exploitation. The thoughts ran through her head for quite some time, distracting her...
