Private A Small Favor...

It had been some time...
Far too long a time, since she had set her coordinates to Commenor. It were on Commenor where her friend Cessy once ruled as Queen Arenais.
Marina had time to reflect on her first meeting with Cessy, as she made the crossing through hyperspace. Cessy were as Marina had first come to know the one many called Lady Kay. The great lady had wished for a little private getaway, a day trip... hiding her true identity from Marina, giving Cessy as her name.
What did Marina know, as it were her first time on that system Commenor.
Long story short; she and Cessy had an adventure. A day turned to several. An adventure which secured them as friends.
Then the world (Galaxy) went topsy-turvy, and all that had been good and promising were trashed by the sith.
Commenor had come under attack. And as a friend, Marina had responded... like so many whom came to the aid of Queen Arenai's people.
Marina had helped evacuate and secure the many children, victims of the sith invasion...
Time to Commenor system emergence in T minus 3 minutes....
The ship's computer reminded Marina. It had sounded off less than an hour before. Now it were time to get her head clear and ready her sub-light engines once she emerged. Memories were for idle times. Now in less than a few seconds as the ship counted down....4...3...2...1... * The Mariner IV popped out of hyperspace and into System Commenor.
The transfer of credentials and ship registry were for the most part done automatically, as the corvette angled for system entry for a powered flight.
With permission to land, Marina opened up a channel and sent a transmission request for a Sigyn Vanir Sigyn Vanir , the requested passenger she were to pick up on Commenor below her.
Marina knew little of her expected passenger other than that she had been given approval for pick-up by the Academy. Marina was currently volunteering for the Je'daii Academy. Mostly because of her bestie, Mariya Fleisher.
The thought of her bestie discovering she were force adept still brought a smile to her features. All those years and adventures and neither knew the one (Mariya) were connected in that manner.

Commenor was a beautiful planet. It would be a shame to leave it. Still, that was what the future hold.

Sigyn had gone to Commenor when the Silver Jedi moved there. It had been nice staying there, but there was a new place, a new group, she had heard of. The Je'daii. She had gotten in contact with them, and learned that they were stationed on a planet called Odessen. Of course Sigyn wanted to go there and learn from this new force group. But the problem was, Odessen was far away from Commenor. And Sigyn did not have a personal ship she could travel with.

Luckily, she got in contact with an... associate of the Je'daii, she guessed. A lady called Marina DeVoe, who had agreed to help Sigyn get from Commenor to Odessen. It seemed like the force wanted Sigyn to go there.

Sigyn was walking through one of Commenor's parks, taking in the view once more, when she got a message from Marina. It seemed she had just arrived in the Commenor system. It made Sigyn's heart beat faster with joy, now that she was one step closer to meeting this Je'daii group. She hurried over to where the message had said Marina had landed, a landing pad not too far form the park Sigyn had been in. Once there, the first thing Sigyn saw was a pretty good looking ship. She stood for a minutte and admired the view, before she discovered a woman standing by it. "Hey, are you Marina?" asked Sigyn as she walked over to the woman.

The first thing that hit her were the air. Marina recalled all the times she were on Commenor before.
First time it were when she inadvertently shared an adventure with the queen of Commenor. Only that at the time Lady Kay, to escape the mundane workings of the bureaucratic workings, booked a day trip with marina under guise. The lady of Commenor went as a commoner by the name of Cessy. It were both the best of times she spent with kay and the beginning of Commenor's downward spiral. But what came of that day trip turned adventure that transcended time (an entire week) was a lasting and trusting friendship.
Then came the sith and all that tragedy that they always sow.
marina had been here during peace, turmoil, war and suffering.
But Commenor like Alderaan survived. Survived because the people willed it. Commenors were not so different than Alderaanii. They never lost hope, nor faith and their spirit enabled them to rise above all else.

Ahh yes, the air today on Commenor was as sweet as she first remembered when she set foot on it. It had recovered and was prospering again-

"Er, excuse me?" Marina were startled from her daydream.

It took a blink, then three to realize the cute young girl was the one she had spoken too not a short time ago.

"Yes. Yes, I'm Marina... " The blonde replied, looking over the younger woman who seemed to be in her teens still.
And of her hair... the girl's hair was so red. Well, as red as natural hair could get. But it were what Marina were admiring. That and her freckles. The girl was so cute, it were difficult to imagine it were a Jedi. 'You then must be Sigyn Vanir Sigyn Vanir ... " Marina extended out her hand.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you." She then said noticing the lack of travel luggage, trunks and...and well, things one brought along to resettle on another system. marina had been informed that the girl was to reside on Odessen for awhile...like attend the Jedi-..er, the Je'Daii Academy there. It were also where Marina's bestie @Mariya Fleisher was residing at the moment.

"Do you need for us to get your things?...your personals that you packed and wish to bring to Odessen?" She then asked.

Sigyn reached out, and shook Marina's in response. "Yes, I am Sigyn Vanir," she replied. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. Nice ship you got, by the way. Never been on anything like it." Sigyn hadn't flown in very meny ships, so the bar wasn't very high. Still, she thought this was a very good looking ship.

"Things? Personals?" She hadn't exactly packed anything. She didn't own many things, so it had kinda slipped her mind. And what would she need on Odessen, among the Je'daii, exactly? She had her lightsaber, and her spear was strapped to her back. And a few extra sets of clothes were in a bag she was carrying with her. "No, I don't think I will need much more. But thanks for the offer."

Right now, Sigyn was quite eager to just get on their way. From what she had heard about the Je'daii, it seemed like a perfect group for her to learn from. "I guess you've been to Odessen, right? Care to tell me what the planet is like? I want to be a bit prepared, in case it is a scorching hot planet like Tatooine."

What could she say about Odessen?
Marina; her very name could explain the smile which lit up her features. The seas, the beaches, the warm sunlit blue skies...
Yes, she was on a different plane than the younger girl whom seeked knowledge and wisdom. Marina were no jedi, nor a je'daii and certainly not a force user. This of course didn't mean she had no force potential. Just that she were not made aware of her bloodline's potential.

"Odessen... hmm..." Marina could only describe it as she saw the system.
"It's...it's nice." It were more than nice, it were one of the few little known paradise worlds. Again, it were her take on the planet's natural beauty and assets.

"Actually... I like it.
I think that you'll like it also. That is when you take the time from, uhm you know, the studies and stuff. There are plenty of places you could let your feet find their way to taking in the natural beauty and warmth of the planet."

Marina had found herself on Odessen because she followed her bestie, @Mariya Fleisher whom she had no clue that had been struggling with the force for many years. The revelation that her bestie was connected had not only come as a surprise, but it had hit her with anxiety. Anxiety, because of the possibility of loosing her bestie to this force thingy she were into lately.
As thus, Marina committed herself in tagging along and accept wholeheartedly what her bestie Mariya Fleisher had embraced. Marina committed herself in supporting her friend and whatever this je'daii cult thing was.

"I mean, there is always more to just studying..." She continued, before realizing maybe she were beginning to yap again. That is, maybe this young girl had her mind set on just that, studying and following her call of the force.
"Anywho, lets get you on board and settled in. Odessen is quite a ways out in the Wild of Space, and it'll take some time in getting there." She then gestured, inviting Sigyn inside the Mariner IV.

"As the ship is concerned..." Marina led her up he ramp and into the ship. " It was originally deigned by Loronar Shipyards as a republican scout ship. My family acquired it for me and had it extensively modified and remodeled inside." It were evident that the vessel inside no longer bared any remnants of it's previous service. It now looked more a luxury corvette cruiser. Keeping the shell or exterior look of an outdated service vessel, had been the idea. It presented less an attraction to both pirates and marauders.

"Here we are..." Marina presented the young girl with the suite she were to occupy during the jump. "This is where you'll bunk...it's right across from mine." It were more than just a basic cabin with a bunk. It was a suite... a studio apartment. "So if you like, you can settle down, get some rest while I get us on the way.
But you are more than welcome to sit in the cockpit...I could tell you more of Odessen's other tributes.."
Yes, it were an invite to talk. Marina was a people person and very likable and friendly.
