A small return to the galaxy RP

I'm thinking as part of my return of just doing an RP that would explain my absence from galactic affairs. Perhaps a Luke Skywalker-ish disappearance. It would be something Sam would do, especially if she gave into the darkside once more. For the most part Sam would not be the the RP, and the group would instead be led by her daughter. I figure 2-4 characters would be fun. Some Jedi, some not Jedi, all with different reasons to find her.

Sounds like fun as in her absence not sure if she was present to witness the rise of the Knights of Ren, but this Vader esque Knight of Ren would be interested in hunting down a Jedi Master like with what Kylo Ren was trying to do with Luke Skywalker.

So anything that happened in the last four years within the board I have no clue on. However I have no issues with collaborating with you to write up a little backstory that would give you a reason to hunt me.

I'll just cut and paste what I wrote on discord. Its not all of her backstory by a long shot. Its just a very condensed version. There is a lot more there, like what kind of experiment it was, etc. I can provide that upon request. I am sure you can form an idea of how to work yourself in there. I am open to ideas.

Basically Samara's family was part of the Hapan lower nobility. When she was younger, as part of an alliance building union she was forced to marry a member of an older Hapan family. Though it was until years later that she discovered that it was arranged by a faction of sith as part of some grand experiment (see Gabriel Volturi). To further said experiment and to force Sam to master to force talent her family was killed by the "Republic" leaving her open to be manipulated by the sith. During her training with the Sith Samara committed several atrocities against the Republic in a drive for vengeance. It was only once she learned that her daughter had not only survived, but been in the hands of the sith as part of the experiment led by her husband. In a fit of rage Sam cut down Gabriel and fled with her daughter. Though fearing the continued influence of the darkside Sam left the girl with the Jedi and fled to the darker corners of the galaxy. To cut it short, over the next decade and half Sam turned to the Jedi where she learned to let go of her rage, though even to this day she is still haunted by the things she has done.

Interesting well if you want I can give you my Discord, and we can talk. But here is a summary. Born in 823 ABY prior to the First Order emerging and taking over Dosuun in the Unknown Regions. Thomas Kyrel was a young man who had suffered from an early age. He grew up poor and he had to scrounge just to survive when the First Order did arrive Kyrel joined the Imperial Navy to find a better life. He patrolled the Unknown Regions and fought mostly against pirates. In 849 ABY his TIE was blown up with Kyrel in it during a battle between First Order and Pirate forces. With the Order of Ren keeping a close eye on him and fanatic scientists who worshiped the Imperial Hero Darth Vader. Thomas Kyrel died that day and his body was put into a new Life Support Suit and became Kyrel Ren. Kyrel joined the Ren and began on a quest for power and a desire to be feared throughout the galaxy becoming idolized with Darth Vader studying both his behavior and learning his Lightsaber techniques through old Imperial Records. with the Power Vaccum left by the Galactic Republic and One Sith. The First Order emerged from the Unknown Regions as they had centuries ago and started to move into the Western Reaches and Outer Rim. With escalating tensions between the Galactic Alliance and the First Order, it all came to ahead on Kaeshana in 850 ABY where a Battle was fought igniting a War between the First Order and Galactic Alliance. Kyrel who was only a Disciple of Ren rushed into battle fighting two Jedi and killed a Padawan named Charlyra Araano before suffering extensive damage to his Life Support Armor and losing his Lightsaber. Afterward, he had his armor repaired, crafted a new Lightsaber and was promoted by the Supreme Leader to Knight of Ren earning the nickname 'Jedi Slayer' He then fought during the Battle of Mustafar for which he had faced several Jedi when the Knights of Ren assaulted Darth Vader's Castle. Kyrel overcame personal trials when facing an Ancient Sith Spirit by the name of Darth Thaxsis. He bested him in combat and after winning claimed both Lord Vader's Armor and his Castle as his own. Afterward the most recent even were fighting in the Battle of Skor II where Kyrel was heavily damaged and was brought back into the Unknown Regions where he made the transition from his Old Life Support Armor into the modified and refitted Darth Vader Armor.

Upon hearing of this Jedi in the Unknown Regions he goes off on a personal mission to hunt her down either Turn her to the Dark Side or kill her and test his skills against a more experienced Jedi Master.

Sounds good to me. I've chosen Upekzar as Sam's planet of exile. I like the balance of life and death the world sort of represents. Plus Sam would be in the all or nothing state of mind. Either she would finally find balance or fall back to the dark side here.

I've been working on mine and Esme's first post, though I'm not sure if I'll post them tonight as I am dead tired.
