A spark turns into a Flame

Valdra entered the training ground;
Here he would train his student.
He would teach the power for which he renown;
In his teaching he would not relent.

He crafted a flame in his hand;
A flame made by manipulating the Force.
A master flame few could withstand;
but mastery would come in due course.

The flame, burning like a blazing star;
brilliant in its color, but dangerous in its use.
Soon would begin their spar
The loser would buy the boose

@T'zanith Zebron

T'zanith entered the training ground,
His master with his flames in hand.
His steps made nary a sound,
as he approached the flame wielding man.

To say he like how this looked,
Would be to bend the truth.
A thought of the path he took,
a waver for the moment due to youth.

With a clearing of his throat,
he announced his presence to his master.
He didn't intend to be one who was blindly devote,
But his intentions were to learn, not the front of a blaster.

Impressed to say the least;
Valdra had a gym in this young Acolyte;
but Valdra was here to make that power increase;
The Acolyte would have to make many a sacrifice.

He turned to the young man;
And spoke, but simple instructions;
"Now hold out thy hand,
and clear your mind of all obstructions."

"The key to Fire Shaping,
Is not only in the flame,
but also in the bodies reshaping;
mind, body, and soul you must learn to tame."

@T'zanith Zebron

Listening to his master,
The acolyte nodded as he prepared.
Hoping this training wouldn't be a disaster,
He approached his master while he stared.

Valdra spoke truly and T'zanight wished to learn,
To learn shaping he'd need to reform.
The power of fire he wished to earn,
If arts he'd need to learn to this application form.

Taking the stance of traditional stava,
His arms and legs fluid and easily changed.
In his mind he hoped he didn't look as clumsy as a jawa,
His stance was though easy to rearrange.

Valdra squeezed his hand putting out the fire
He shoke his head as his student dropped in the wrong stance
The stance they would begin in was the Northern Shaolin stance, Tiger
They would enter the aggressive tiger style dance

He began with his hand in front of him, bent like claws;
His moves would be fluid, but aggressive.
The key is to attack and rarely withdraw;
This was down with moves that would be successive.

Valdra lunged forward with the first move;
He would move in slow motion sending a punch not meant to connect.
The move, with fire would only improve;
With the use of fire the move would completely connect.

@T'zanith Zebron

As T'zanith saw his masters stance,
He moved to correct his own.
A quick glance over the tiger style dance,
Made the student give way to the blow thrown.

Slowly he followed the motion,
beginning with the claw like stance of his hands.
This style bore an interesting Notion,
As motion enhanced by fire made the student understands.

With his moved improved,
To alleviate his masters ire.
Hands as claws moved hoping Valdra wouldn't disprove,
To master fire was T'zaniths desire.

A student that was a quick learner;
Now he just needed to mirror his motions.
To any preconceived notions he would become a spurner;
But martial arts was about controlling emotions.

He then stood moving his arms in opposite rings
He would then move his feet first
The ducking his body and coming up like a spring
He would come up with an open fist

The Northern Shoalin movements were centered
Meant to be controlled, but attack with power
the open palm prevents the user from being self injured
But the power was enough to make Master's cower

Unlike Tai Chi, Northern Shoalin was faster
Valdra's movements were round and flowed like water
The natural movements would take time to master
but even the most beautiful could bring about a slaughter.

He held his motions in play,
Though they were rigid and stiff.
This art was meant to Slay,
Slowly following movements though rigid as a cliff.

Open palm slow and steady,
Moving with his master like a spring.
Slowing down again as he grew unsteady,
His hand moved in a swing.

Imagining the fire coming,
out his hands while he moved.
It felt somehow right and his master forthcoming,
His hunch correctly proved.

His student had the movement
but the breathing made things not move right
Without making a comment
He showed him how to breath through sight

Valdra then moved into a strong man pose
As he did his breathing he let out
The breathing in was through the nose
And breathing out through the mouth

The strong man pose looked like a man flexing, but wide
his palms were faced to the sky
This was meant to defend against at multiple strides
but by itself would be not used wisely

He then snapped into a buddaha's palm
A deadly move and legendary in it's own right
A move more grace full than a song
but more deadly than Hades' very sight.

Seeing his masters breathing,
He adjusted his stance.
He knew that breathing had meaning,
If stava had taught him that as he felt like he was in a trance.

Taking the strong man stance,
He followed through with his palms facing the sky.
Down to Buddahs palm he felt in a trance,
This exercise was worth it so he had to try.

His muscles tightened as he moved,
Sweat formed on his brow.
This was a way for him to prove,
To himself that he could Rouse.

A Martial Arts can not be learned in a day
Small, but focused steps
He would have to continue to learn the Shoalin way
Too much, too fast can lead to missteps.

He moved his feet together
moving into a bow
This was a good beginning altogether
but it would be enough for now.

"Go, get some rest.
Tomorrow we will build your lightsaber
and continue the tests."
This would prove to be hard labor.

T'zanith Zebron

@T'zanith Zebron

Bowing to his master he smiled,
The day had not been a total disaster.
The fatigue had of course piled,
He'd rest at the behest of his master.

"I thank you for this session,
If I did anything wrong please inform me."
He said as he knew that the day was over with this Lesson,
With his head coming up from a bow he felt a little free.

Turning his back he left in a stride,
Feeling a bit of Pride.
His master showed he wished to guide,
Thoughts of failure he batted aside.
