A stop at Dawn

Landing my Smugglers Paradise down on Concord Dawn, one of the planets that I had been to for my Foster homes when I was a boy of 15 years old, All I could do was look around as people were everywhere. I remember how this place was also hit from the old Sith Empire after I had left. I grabbed my gear that I always carried with me, and made my way off of my ship. I grabbed my Durasteel mask and placed it over my head as sometimes I wanted to keep my face hidden from people.

Being a Smuggler and a Scoundrel, or even a proclaimed soldier, the man with a Mask that had two red eyes and looked to be of something else, word could spread around. I locked up my ship with a resounding Beep beep as I moved on.

I had to make a pitstop to grab some food as well as supplies for my continuation of the trip to Junction, and maybe even further on should the need arise. I pulled out a Datapad with the information that I needed. ANd handing it to the Foreman, I simply pointed to it and spoke, "I want all of this here and ready to be loaded up within the next three hours. If its not done, then I will take it out of your Fething hide." The man nodded his head as he was almost a head shorter than myself.

I shook my head as I walked on, and the voice of Emily came into my mind once more after being somewhat silent,

"Why do you have to make people fear you?"
Smiling I answered her.
"Because fear can do many things when you are young Em."
"Yeah like make people fear you for who you are not."
"I see what he is getting at, I mean, he is young and so he is trying to avoid confrontation."
"He's just gonna get his ass kicked later on by some guy who is bigger than him."
"Nah, nobody can take Aden down. He would beat everyone."
"There is always a bigger fish."

Continuing to fight as I walked on about why I chose to make my decisions to scare the man into doing the work for me, I walked on. only wishing that sometimes people would just leave me alone to my own devices. Everything I did came with a comment from one, or all of them. I might as well just do whatever I wanted and let them think whatever, but I had to think they were right. There was a bigger fish than myself. I only wondered who it would be that would ultimately bring my demise? or even then, would it be a person instead of a natural death like a heart attack when I am over 150 years old?

Either way, I walked on to where I could possibly buy some sharpening stones for my Daggers, and maybe some more rounds for my MM-27's Even then, maybe I could find someone to help me upgrade them to have other stuff as well. Make customs? would be pretty nice since I am on a Mando owned planet. but as that may, I had limited credits. ANd my second reason for being here, Jobs. As a Smuggler and a Scoundrel, I did runs for people with money and power. Possibly to get my name out there, and make myself more known like Salvo and the crew of the Defiance, and the Lost Cause.

Aedan Miles strode into the town after landing his customized Rassailon-class starfighter. Walking around almost absently he had decided to take a day off and come visit a world he had yet to see. That wasn't to say that the young man was not without his standard armaments of two lightsabers on his hips with a pistol strapped to each thigh and a lightsaber pike held in his hands. Yes it was a difficult weapon to carry around but he had grown accustomed to it for now the weapon was resting over his shoulders the wrists of his hands resting over the top of it as he looks around. The person that was Aedan Miles was a VERY easy person to start due to the fact that he has long violet hair hanging down his back in a ponytail and gleaming violet eyes. He walked towards the nearest arms shop so that he could buy some stuff and have it delivered to the area that Clan Akaata called home. His Aliit'gam he wore showed the symbol for Clan Akaata a scythe under a dragons skull.

Wandering into the arms shop he looked around stretching a bit as he laughed noticing the shop owner calling him over. "Hey yea I am here to do your favorite thing place another big order. Clan Akaata is running low on ammo for our pistols the guys tend to use them a lot more." The man nodded as he holds his hand out to the young man who handed it to him and moved to look over the rest of his stock the lightsaber pike gripped calmly in one hand. [member="Aden Dawson"]

I had been looking at the prices for the rounds that I needed. .454 slugthrower ammo. Not easy and cheap to come by. Let me tell you, they were expensive, but worth it. I would rather take a slug like this, than a .357 or a smaller round, simply because of how effective the 454's were. I mean, the slug was built for large game, and installed into a heavy pistol, it was a deadly weapon to use. As a Smuggler, no one could be trusted, and a Blaster pistol is widely known to be ineffective against armor. But Slugthrowers this large? that was a different story.

I pointed to the box of 50 rounds, when a man burst in. Carrying clearly visible, and assortment of lightsabers, and pistols. Dressed in his own seemingly variation of Mandalorian armor, he addressed the shopowner as though they had been long time friends. I took my time to listen as the Bartender started to get the ammo and other such for the man and his Mandalorian Clan.

I looked to him, wondering about why the clan that was further away, would come here for ammo?

"Be careful Aden, he looks like a person that is not to be messed with right now."
"Oh and you were on the hype train about him being feared! Why not take the guy on?"
"No, don't do that, all of us know that you could end up in the wrong here. He has lightsabers."
"Yeah and we have a Beskad, Daggers, and two pistols that he can hardly block."
"Lightsaber means force user dummy. And one who is trained."

I shook my head as I waited my turn. but decidingly I spoke up, "You don't mind if I just grab this pack here and pay you now before you get too hassled with that order right?" I held up my hands to show no meaning of offence, "I mean, I don't want to sit here waiting for an Order that must be longer than my Rap sheet."

Aedan glanced over at the man before he gestured to the shop owner almost absently. "Add his ammo to the order and then he can go now I will pay for it." Aedan went back to searching through the assortment of weapons that were here. Odds were that the man hadn't heard of Clan Akaata they were a small as of yet unknown clan off ex Red Legion soldiers who had earned the right to become Mando'ade and instead of splitting up had convinced the young man to take the position of clan head sense he would be the closest to Rally Master. Now as Clan Leader it was his job to make sure the clan had all the ammo they would need all the weapons and most importantly medical supplies for when they needed to be healed up. As he waited his com link went off and one of his brothers chipped in over it. "Ok really you need to stop getting ahead of us we know you have 2 bad ass fighters but still WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GUARD YOU!" Aedan chuckled as he shock his head lightly laughing loudly. "Yea well I was bored and its not like anyone is going to attack me on a Mandalorian world. Besides the sooner I was here the sooner the shop keep could get started on our order right so in short I did us a favor." He cut the communication as he stretched backward a bit rolling his shoulders and stretching from side to side. [member="Aden Dawson"]

The man was paying for my ammo? I looked at him more, intrigued that he would pay for me. Let's just say that never happens to me. He talked into a com system to others about the shipment. All the while the voices arguing over what to do.

"Go and thank him, He just bought something for you."
"He doesn't need to. Kill him, he has credits."
"Aden I swear if you try I will kill you myself."
"Relax, I don't think he is that stupid."
"Go thank him. Aden you need to learn how to interact with people. Well other than us you know."
"Emily is right."
"I don't give a goddamn flying rat, take his money!"

Walking up to the man, I offered him my hand, "Hey...um thanks for paying for it I guess?" Offering my hand to him, I only wondered what clan he was from. I mean, he didn't say it so far.

Aedan closed his comlink and shock his head turning he grasped the mans hand firmly and gave it a hefty shake. Giving his head a quick shake the man grins lightly. "Don't worry about it vod you were here first so I figured I might as well do the kind thing." Aedan glanced up as three men and a woman came jogging in all panting as they glared at Aedan the female muttering darkly. "Aedan you are the Aliit'bor of Clan Akaata you CAN'T JUST RUN OFF LIKE THAT!" She walks over and hits him in the back of the head reaching up Aedan rubs his head and shakes his head smirking. "No as Clan Head I am ALLOWED to do just that. I am not that easy to kill or else someone would have tried it by now besides we are in Mando'ade territory who would attack me here?" Turning back to the man Aedan chuckled and gestured. "These are my brothers and sisters in Clan Akaata we are a new clan but we won't be underestimated. BUT how rude I haven't given you my name. I am Aedan Miles Rally Master and Aliit'bor of Clan Akaata." [member="Aden Dawson"]

I nodded my head to him as we shook hands. He was saying that it was only the right thing to do. I guess that was okay? I mean, I worked alone for the past three years trying to make my way in life past the wars and battles that have taken place. Suddenly three people burst into the shop. As our hands separated, I could tell that the three of them were pissed. my hand went inside my jacket where it looked like I was grabbing for something, but when they were simply mad at him for running away from them, I pulled my hand out to have some credits in my hand, as though I was going to use them instead of my pistol.

"Hey, yeah more people to fight!"
"Shut up we are done with you, just be quiet and listen. let Aden decide what to do."

"I can see that all of you are close, Forgive me, The name is Aden Dawnson." I nodded to the new entry's of people who were here. Putting the credits in my pocket, I reached up and took off my mask to show my face. Unshaven and giving me the look of what could be a older 20 year old man, when I was merely 19. Blame my genes of an Epicthanix trying to hide with fake ginger hair. "And are you sure that you are going to pay for me? I do have the credits to pay for it myself you know."

I was not so easily bought with just a stack of 50 rounds for my pistols. Every time I stopped at a place I attempted to buy ammo for my gun to have a small stockpile up for it. So really I could have gone without needing to buy this single pack of ammo.

Aedan glances over the man absently his eyes flicking over the weapons he had on before he turned serious and gestured. "Alara get him 3 more boxes for his pistols. Do you have any other weapons you would like ammo for Aden?" The woman by Aedan sighed before she went and grabbed the correct ammo setting it on the counter as she leaned against it before her eyes brightened seeing a weapon on the wall she pointed at it. "HEY Deerek add that to the bosses order I want a new gun." The shop keeper reached up pulling a Mandalorian L3 river gun as Aedan sighed letting his head fall into his hand as he chuckled shaking his head a bit. [member="Aden Dawson"]

I looked at him as he was making a point that he would buy the ammo for me. In total four crates of rounds. 50 each, and that came out of a total to 200 rounds. Now that man had the credits to buy all of this. When it seemed that the woman wanted a new rifle. A river gun. I had seen a few of these and it was just about the standard Mandalorian rifle of the times to be used. Many different versions had been out and I knew they were expensive. I could barely come across the credits to buy my ship as a simple bartender for a while at the Smuggl- No. not there right now.

"If you say so. I guess I will just have to use my credits on something else then."

I shook my head and put my mask in the right inner pocket of my trench coat. I walked to the counter and looked a few of the items over. Sure I liked rifles, but they were expected and almost everyone had one. I wanted something different. something that goes boom a little bit louder. or should I say stronger? I was looking at a Kath Hound shotgun. Even though it was a blaster version of the scattershot slughthrowers, it was powerful and had just the right amount of ammo that I needed for a good self defense weapon, other than the two pistols that I owned already.

I sat my credits down on the table, and pointed to shotgun. "Kath hound is what I want. And give me two boxes of ammo for it as well." I already had the credits needed, and since it would probably save my life a few times since I would need rounds next time, I thought spending a little over than I wanted would be fine.

"Good choice, now shoot the Mandos that are there and tak-"
"I SAID SHUT THE HELL UP! Aden keep the gun for defense."
"Don't worry I am." I spoke, before realizing that other people where here around me. Well I hope that they didn't hear me "talk to myself"

Aedan walks over and smiles kindly at the fellow Mando as he places his hand on his shoulder and gestures the woman towards where the ammo was kept. "How much ammo do you think you want friend? Would 5 boxes for now do you until the next time you stop by here? Also Deerek add this young Vod here to my clan's tab so that if he needs anymore ammo he can buy it then." The woman stared at Aedan in shock before she went over to get Aden's ammo and place it before him. "Boss are you sure about this? I mean yea you have the money to do it but you don't even know him." Aedan glanced at her and shrugged lightly as he gestures. "It will be fine I feel like this is the right thing to do. Go and get the speeders from the ship we are going to need them." With a sigh the man and woman turned to leave and Aedan leaned against the counter spinning his lightsaber pike between his fingers lightly. [member="Aden Dawson"]
