A stormtrooper in love

Natassia's eyes fluttered open gently as she awoke from her peaceful slumber, stirring a little as she laid onto her couch, frowning as she felt something against her. Her eyes adjusted to the light, and all of the memories of the previous day rushed back into her mind as she saw the blue skin and the purple hair of Serenna, the jedi she had met the day before. Finding herself doing something she didn't often do, the trooper smiled softly, caressing the long stream of hair with her hands, until she slowly and carefully stood up and left, the task difficult as their bodies were pressed tightly against each other, the small couch giving a good excuse for the blonde to hold the other woman in her arms for the whole night. As she walked toward the kitchen-bar, she turned around and glanced at the sleeping chiss fondly. Preparing a bit of coffee and some pastries for the two of them, she brought the plate back to the small table near the couch, setting it down, before sitting right next to the ruby-eyed beauty. While still slightly worried about their future, Natassia looked forward to getting to know her better, blushing as she thought about their kiss from the previous night.

Serenna was still asleep and this was a surprise. usually her nights were restless and then she was feeling it. That familiar brush of energy and lack of warmth here ont he couch itself. The chisses large red eyes blinked open slowly as she was remembering what there was and had a small look on her face. Prepared to give over to Natassia a few thins until she saw she was gone and up in the room. There was a few things to think about but she rose up and stretched out her arms and back. Feeling it in her bones when she extended them completely. The sound of popping from the bones was there echoing in her ears as she leaned back a little to get her back before shestretched her legs and looked at the woman. "Morning."

Natassia looked at her guest warmly, absently drinking from her coffee as she saw her waking up and stretching herself. Setting down her cup, she leaned in and placed a small kiss onto her cheek. "Mornin'", the blonde answered before sitting down next to the jedi, leaning against her slightly. Despite her disbelief of her thoughts at first, she knew that she slept peacefully thanks to her, even if she didn't actively search to ban her nightmares; and so she placed her arm around her shoulders casually, smiling gently to the awoken chiss. "Did you sleep well?"

She thought about it for a moment and while it might not have been a perfect night... well it was almost but aside from that it was a place you generally wouldn't want to normally fall asleep. "Actually yeah I did." She finished stretching and moving over there to look at her with a small grin on her face. "it was better then i expected or am used to, most places are just a small bed with little in the way of being warm. Down here was a lot more interesting." She moved to take a seat and slid a small canteen from her belt with some of the food while wetting it to come back and it was a bulk of a meal. "High grade food packs, small and able to feed a squad for a week or a person for a lot longer."

"I'm glad you slept here instead of a hotel in town."
Taking yet another sip of her coffee, she pushed Serenna's mug toward her absently, once more admiring her. Still smiling, she designated the food packs with the index of her left hand, the right one holding the coffee cup. "You did think about everything, didn't you. How long have you been a wanderer like that? Where did you go from originally?"
As much as Natassia didn't want to press the chiss with questions, she was still extremely curious about her journeys; the fact someone could simply travel around the galaxy with no weapons but their voice and their talent as an orator was completely alien to her.

"I have been wandering around the galaxy for years every once and awhile returning to the jedi temple to restock and see if there is anything thy might need from me. A number of the jedi know me and I am in the records though some thought I was one of the new weekend jedi. Someone who is only a jedi when it benefits them or they want something... which is sad but don't really have a place to dispute it as I stopped trying to make sense of things the people do." She took the cup and got a small drink. Hmm it was good and she looked at her. "There is a lot though I don't exactly roll in the credits, most jedi stipends barely cover full meals let alone hotels. We just stay among the people and see where charity can take us."

"And for all those years, did anything dangerous happen?"
Natassia could barely fathom what this life of wandering could be, going from planet to planet thanks to the kindness of the inhabitants. Being quite wary of people herself, she knew she'd have trouble living such a life; and so she respected the jedi all the more. Sipping her coffee quietly, it took her a while to realize that they were both silent, her eyes stuck onto the chiss' face. Blushing as she realized what she had been doing, the trooper hurriedly looked away, realizing that she had unconsciously approached her free hand to Serenna, in an instinctive reaction to touch her.

She held her hand out and waggled it with a small look on her face. "Ehhh yes and no, there is danger always but it is not as bad as everyone likes to make it out to be. Really the elements are more dangerous on the grounds that they can kill you if you are not careful." She was sitting there and drinking for a moment as she thought about it and there was not a lot. Sky had taken her at one point to a large temple and that was dangerous as it had been for the sith but they weren't there and it was just old ghosts. They had faced dangers and risk but aside from possibly being seduced by the darkside there wasn't... of falling on the ledges into the spike traps there was that.

Looking at Serenna in awe, Natassia accidently spilled a bit of coffee onto her, blushing in embarassment as she muttered something about getting a sponge and going to the kitchen, hiding her bright red face from the jedi's eyes. She sighed dreamily as she took it in her hands, knowing that being so enthralled by someone surely wasn't good for her; but she didn't care. The chiss was so beautiful, and the trooper didn't regret a single second looking at her body. Coming back with an almost enthusiastic humming, she cleaned the warm liquid off of the table, and then herself. "Say", started the blonde by sitting down next to Serenna once more, smiling lightly. "What do you want to do today? I could show you around, we could go out in the desert to try and find stuff, whatever floats your boat."

Hmm what did she want to do? She wasn't used to that or having much of a choice. Generally she was just roaming around the galaxy. THey could move and look over any number of things for themselves until the jedi knight was preparing for herself. "Hmmm not used to really having a choice, I just go out and handle things then am usually moving on. We can go out exploring in the desert though, there might be people out there who need help or mysteries to solve." She was thinking about it with a couple more things that they could use. She was looking to keep it all up as well as a chance in her mind to see what more might come from the two of them.

"Well, sounds like a plan", said the trooper with a small sigh, before kissing the chiss on the cheek and standing up to get her armor, equipping the pieces slowly, trying not to stare too much at Serenna as she did so. While she was herself a "protector" of the population, she mostly dished out justice in the most radical, permanent way, rarely arresting criminals. And yet, the prospect of going in the wilderness along with the jedi excited her. Perhaps she'd get a chance to get closer to Serenna during the day, and maybe, just maybe, developping the relationship she craved for. Remaining calm despite her inner happyness and excitement, she shone the blue-skinned humanoid a bright smile - just for her to realize Serenna was the only person making her smile so much.

Giving it a moment as she stood up seeing the woman go off to get her armor and stuff the chiss got her boots and socks... and that was about it. She didn't have anything else except maybe a compartment that she would need to reattach to her belt... oh and her comlink for just in case. "Alright then, you ready to go?" SHe was curious and moving while she stood there at the door straightening her hair before adjusting her belt a little so the compartments were leaving one of the small rungs exposed to hold a hydrospanner in case there were technical things they needed to work on or with. She had a thing about taking tech apart in case it could be useful.

"I was born ready", answered the trooper with a smile, before putting her helmet on and passing through the two blast doors, locking them behind Serenna as the jedi advanced. Going up the ladder after the chiss and closing the hatch behind them, she stretched a bit, before turning toward her companion. "I don't have any vehicles to my disposition, though. Do you mind going out on foot?"

She looked at her with a small grin on her face. "I usually do anyways." Though in the desert it could be dangerous... unless you had one of the sasori canteens that produced water from the heat and cryoban cell so the waters never ran out. That was a benefit to go with it as well as the ration pack before she was moving to get out of the place and head up into the town the night before had not given her a lot of time to see things so starring at it she could tell that... she hadn't missed much. Looking where they could head out though she stood for a moment focusing on the force energies to guide her and show her which way int he desert would be the most beneficial to travel.

"Is this what Jedi journeys look like?" asked the Stormtrooper as they left the city, getting deeper and deeper into the desert. Thankfully, Natassia's armor kept her cool, the suit engineered to allow the user to withstand both freezing and arid landscapes - but she kept worrying about the jedi, giving her glances every now and then. She remained at Serenna's side, following her, letting the Force guide the chiss through the dull landscape. While she had almost no trust in the Force, the blonde did not question it openly, knowing that the blue-skinned wanderer had her whole life based on this ideal. And so she remained quiet, her timidity returning as she had no idea of how to make small-talk.

Hahaha a small smir though from her face to show that she was rather enjoying this. More for the company then anything before she spoke showing the circlet that was made for jedi. "Sometimes, though it really depends, the equipment the jedi have been given and made allows us to have a lot more space to use things. It works much like your armor only I can wear it on my ankle." She showed it there and was nice and cool here in the desert. THe belt she had with her canteen and rations, some of her other equipment but nothing like a weapon was needed. Just the small stuff she could fit in the packs and sigil she had around her neck.

Natassia felt like she was suffocating under her helmet - and it had nothing to do with isolation. The temperature was perfectly cool inside there, thanks to the systems of ventilation, but she craved to have Serenna seeing her smile, to show her that thanks to her, and her alone, she was alive, and she felt so damn good being there, with her, despite the long march into the desert. "You know", started the trooper as she turned her head toward the chiss once more, placing two fingers onto where her mouth should be, her code for a smile, "walking in the desert reminds me of patrols on Tatooine."
While she said this lightheartedly, she still felt a slight pang of shame, thinking about the place and what happenned there. What could had easily be contained went out of hand faster than ever, Lord Vader's very own troopers unable to find the intel he so much desired. While she had been spared, her squad leader's couldn't say as much. And so she went silent, feeling weird that she was falling for a Jedi of all people - a person of the same kind as the person who supposedly destroyed the Empire she held so dearly and killed thousands of brave soldiers.

Looking at her while they walked she spoke softly and didn't really judge. "I can iagine, deserts are some of the places I don't always like. The sand can get everywhere and jedi don't always get those nice bodygloves that keep everything sealed in." Her circlet could protect from a number of things but not sand.... cosmic force gods of irony and everything like that before she kept walking seeing some areas of it. The Chiss stood up a little taller with a grin on her face though before pointing out some mountains. "Well that looks like it could one of the better places to go and look for now. We might be able to find some caves to cool down and take a breather."

"Sounds good to me", answered Natassia, turning around to redirect herself toward the mountains. They were probably an hour or two from them, and a walk in the desert, despite the insulation of her armor, wasn't the most interesting thing to do. An awkward silence settled in, as the stormtrooper thought about what to say next. One one hand, she didn't want to be too intrusive, but on the other, she really wanted to get to know that jedi better... and it meant actually asking her things, of course. Shyli, she started to walk closer to the Chiss, hoping she wouldn't care too much... and if she didn't, she might just think of the next step. Thankful for the helmet hiding her blush, she tried to speak in a casual tone.
"Who would of thought? A stormtrooper and a jedi, walking together into the desert, with the sun on their backs."

Hmm the situation and the idea was not lost in her though a few centuries out of date and time there was a grin on her face when she turned to look at her thankful for the break in the boredom... she wasn't bored with Natassia she was well walking in the desert... you could only amuse yourself with how many dunes and how many grains of sand you could name for so long before your realized there was still so long to go before you reached your destination. Serenna spoke with a look at her before she offered a hand to her off hand. So she could still use her weapon if things were needed. You had to do some things and compromise on some others after all. "Hahaha I could see it, there is always a chance for things to change and infinite possibilities. The real fun will be getting to really know you. I would like to hear as much as I can."
