A Titan Falls

Alric Kuhn

Alric stood before a massive tower on Coruscant, his gaze shot upwards towards the reflective surface of the building itself.

He grinned.

Atop the building, springing countless stories into the skies was a simple name, Titan. Titan Industries, one of the largest corporations in the galaxy, sole provider of Ships, armors, arms, and everything else to the One Sith. The greatest profiteer of war in the known galaxy, and Alric was about to own it. There wasn't really anything anyone could do about it. The previous owner of the corporation was dead and gone, and much like with Blas-Tech, Alric had swooped in rather quickly.

It helped that he had connections here on Coruscant, and connections inside of Titan Industries. He was rather friendly with much of the board, and such the takeover had come much more smoothly.

Of Course Titan mainly dealt in Yuuzhan Vong Technology, but they did a little of everything. He smiled slightly, he intended to make that little, into something much much larger. He wanted Titan to expand across the entire galaxy, and it would.

With a winning grin, Alric stepped into the building.

He was greeted by a kind looking woman, young, blonde, with eyes that told of naivety. Perhaps she did not realize who she was working for, or what exactly they did. Titan Industries had directly aided the One Sith in the slaughter of millions, if not billions of life. The company had directly facilitated in the Vong Forming of Alderaan, and had built many of the ships that the One Sith now Fielded.

Did she know?

Or did she not care?

Either way it was rather appealing. Innocents was not something that one often came by in the galaxy, especially here on Coruscant. Acceptance was even less so, many people were judgey, choosy, and sometimes outright hostile. She wondered which one this woman was.

“Mr. Serin, the board is waiting for you, if you would come this way.”

Her voice sounded sweet an as angels song.

How interesting. Apparently even though Titan Industries had previously been run by a monster they knew very well what and who they had to hire in order to look appealing. The Secretary world around with a flutter of Golden hair and immediately stalked off to the turbo-lifts. Alric admired her for a moment, then followed after her.

In a matter of moments they stood within the turbo-lift, his eyes wandering around the ornately created room.

This tower, like everything else that Titan Industries had was mostly built with funds from the One Sith. As the Primary production company used by the One Sith, Titan industries was massively funded and directed by them. Oh they still had corporate autonomy, but with an understanding. Sell to anyone else, and you would be taken apart.

That was just fine for Titan.

The One Sith gave them enough money to fill any order they could possibly need, and the ships they produced garnered maintenance contracts as well as hundreds of other smaller sub contracts. Titan Industries was the sole beneficiary of the One Siths grand finances.

It was a position many corporations would have killed for.

Alric smiled as the Turbo-lift shot up. He was about to be in control of it all.

Tsavong could have stopped him, but last he heard the creature was in the outer rim, dead or something like that. It didn't matter much to him, he had had no relationship with the creature and never intended on meeting him. All he wanted was Titan, all he needed was the Board. It was that simple, that easy. Much more smooth than Blas-Tech had been, though they were far more...independent as a corporation.

The Turbo-lift came to a sudden halt, and the Secretary looked over to Alric to see if he was okay. With an odd look, she nodded him towards the door, clearly wanting him to go first. The CEO of Blas-Tech shrugged and then entered the floor first. Alric looked around the odd building, and found the layout to be...completely wasteful.

The floor was entirely empty save for one large glass room.

In the center of said room was a massive wooden table, sitting around it were a dozen men of different species, half of them Yuuzhan Vong.

Alric watched them, then looked around the rest of the floor. The massive waste of square footage was intense, the entire place was empty save for that one glass room, the rest was simply nothingness and huge pane glass windows that looked out over Coruscant. He imagined this was for security purposes, making it more difficult to listen in on conferences.

He was sure there was easier ways.

With a shrug Alric headed towards the conference room, the secretary stayed in place on the Turbo-lift.

Many of the board members greeted him with warm smiles and open arms.

“Welcome, Mr. Serin.”

“Good day, lad.”

“How are you, Henry.”

It went on like that for a few moments, with every single board member giving him a warm greeting. He knew these men, he knew their families, their origins, their stories, everything about them. They knew him, by a name anyway. He smiled at each of them, shaking their hands, hugging them, giving respectful bows to the Yuuzhan Vong among them. That was simple, that was easy.

“Good day to you all.” Alric said with a simple pleased smile.

This would go so much easier than Blas-Tech, but then again he hadn't been the one to arrange this, he hadn't been the one that allowed for this to happen. He smiled at the thought of that, it was so much easier when someone else set things up, and he simply took advantage. It made the game easier, made it more fun.

“I believe we all know why were here.”

There were nods all around the room, and a few grins.

Titan Industries was not run by its CEO, not entirely. It was run by its investors. Alric was one of the investors, but only a small one. There was a much bigger game afoot behind the corporation, one that Alric wanted to be apart of, one that he knew very well.

It was a game that his father had played, one that he had played well, and one that he had set Alric up to play. That was why he was here now, that was why he taking taking over Titan Industries, because his father had played this game well.

Family was everything.

“Mr. Serin. You have been unanimously chosen by this board, as well as our more silent partners, to be the new CEO of Titan Industries.”

Alric looked smugly at the men, smiling slightly and walking over to the head of the table.

There sat a large leather chair.

This was so much easier than Blas-Tech had been. No Xo to bribe, kill, or extort people. No petty squabbling, not pushing, no prodding, people simply went along. This game was so much more fun, so much more...enjoyable.

The chair rolled out from the table.

He took his seat.

The chair was comfortable, and admittedly made for a person that was much, much bigger than him, but it fit well. He slid the chair back into place against the wooden table, looking across at all the men and women that sat there. He smiled at them, looking at each of them in turn.

“I believe then.” He grinned. “It is time to get down to business.”

That was that.

There needn't be more said, more done. Business was to be brokered and finished, Titan Industries was his, and he would expand it and bring it into a new golden age. Tsavong had done well, now it was just a matter of growing what he had already built.
