A Tour of Mandalore (Isabet Denko)

Arthurs feet carried him off the ship and his head drew back and he breathed in. Mandalore. A planet home to a warrior race that he had read about in the datafiles he had been able to accumulate and it was a culture that spoke wonders on its own much less without the help of those that inhabit it. For now he was just exploring the planet, leaving his ship that he had bought a few weeks back, it being nothing more than a small freighter with a slight bit of disrepair to it. His lips curled into a smile and his eyes looking at the sky now as her thought for a moment before turning his head to level his view with a docking official. Without a word Arthur pulled out a few credit chips, handing it to the official, knowing full well how much the fee was and moving out of the port with little care.

Once out of the port he looked upon the domed city of Sundari, capital of Mandalore and its empire. It was a wondrous sight indeed, the sky being distorted and the buildings rising up in their controlled atmosphere. He thought over what he had read about the city and once he was able to get a airspeeder he headed towards the Peace Park, a memorial that was said to be one of the greatest sights on the planet, a sight that had seen death and destruction more than once in its past. He didnt expect to be left unnoticed, but he didnt mean to be left alone. Ifr someone wished to approach him, let them, he had no reason to stop someone for asking why he was there or wasnt there. The only thing that Arthur carried that could be considered remotely dangerous was a borrowed saberstaff that he kept well hidden.

Once there he looked on the Memorial Shrine and remained absolutely still with his eyes unmoving, the silvered orbs seemed to be just staring without a second thought. His hands remained crossed behind him in plain sith and his hood to his robes remained down so that his face and features remained clear, he would not let those around him think he meant harm, he was only here to see the planet and its capital.

Isabet was doing nothing in particular, at least not for the moment. For a while she had been wondering around, taking in the sights of Mandalore, though she had seen them many a time before. There was no particular direction she was heading in. No specific goal she was set out to complete. It was a calm, relaxing walk away from all her worries and troubles, which seemed to be piling on now she took care of herself. The only thought running through her head was of @[member="Abel Denko"]. Recently she had found herself very attached to the man, a terrifying realisation on it's own. The fresh air helped to quell her mind for the moment.

Her beskar'gam made little to no sound as she moved swiftly through the small crowds of people. She had grown accustom to walking in such a way that the armour didn't scrape together. The Peace Park was just ahead of her and so was a stranger. It seemed to Isabet that he was making a particular effort to not look like a threat. The simple action did make her crack a small smile as she entered the area. She paused for a second, craning her neck to look at the man behind her. "Are you going to walk around or are you just going to stand there in awe? I wouldn't blame you."

It was a strange sensation for Isabet, striking up a conversation with a perfect stranger. But as she had already guessed, he wasn't any harm and he didn't look like one to turn down some conversation. Perhaps it would help focus her mind on other things.

"I do believe standing in awe is certainly an appropriate reaction to this sight before me." He turned his head enough for the sight of the woman to come into view, studying her for a few moments out of habit and speaking again. "Might i ask your name miss, i would like to learn the name of a random passerby before i give mine, and i can assure you that i am just here to explore your wonderous home, ive read much on the Mandalorians and the place in which they rule." His voice came out soft and reserved, his body having only shifted enough for him to turn his head and let his silver eye fall on her while they talked. @[member="Isabet Denko"]

She couldn't help but let out a low chuckle. He was giving her a lot more than she was interested in, but there was no harm in entertaining it. She turned around fully, tired of the ache in her neck from looking at him. "I wasn't asking your name, but since you asked, Isabet K-...Denko." She still wasn't used to the fact that her name had changed. She liked it though. It had a ring to it. She let the silence linger, thinking on his comment before replying again. "I wasn't suggesting that you were up to anything malicious or suspicious. I was suggesting the view is better inside then it is out. Though it might not seem that way standing there for the first time." Her finger motioned to were he stood. Isabet did find some amusement in his sudden assumption. She wasn't out to hurt him or quiz him on his intentions.

"Right sorry, still trying to get used to the galaxy as a whole and i might have let my assumption get the better of my, err Arthur Hardrada is my name. And im sure the view is amazing inside as it is outside, i just arrived so i havent had the chance to really see it yet." He thought for a moment, glancing back at the shrine for half a moment before speaking again to her. "You dont mind leading me around Peace Park do you, still cant use datapads well enough to follow the directions as easily as others." @[member="Isabet Denko"]

(( I apologize for the horrible posts, im having a serious bit of writers block..))

She stopped to consider his question for a moment. There was nothing immediately threatening about the man and she had come out here to find a distraction. She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't see why not." Without waiting for him to reply she turned and began to walk into the park. Isabet talked as she walked, only once craning her neck to see if he was following. "What do you mean by getting used to the whole galaxy? Have you not seen much of it?" In all truth, she hadn't either. She had been to no more than 8 planets. She hadn't even skimmed the galaxy yet.

"Well, its not that i havent explored the galaxy, but i didnt even know there was more to the galaxy nor that there was even your planet four months ago, much less the ability to travel to other star systems... My home only recently was able to achieve hyperdrive technology and it is something that is highly different to us, much less these datapads that are used widely, i must ask are they realy so much easier than written word on a piece of paper?" He followed in step as she led on, his hands never leaving their place behind him as he walked on and looked among peace park. @[member="Isabet Denko"]

Isabet shrugged again. It seemed he was more interesting then she had originally expected. The fact that his planet had only just received hyperdrive technology was cause enough for further conversation. She pulled her helmet from her head, letting tumbles of blonde hair fall over her shoulders. "They're easy to use, of course. But I doubt they're easier than the traditional method. I suppose the benefit is having everything all together all at once." She continued walking at a leisurely pace, after all there was no rush. At least not for her. "Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Iferetes, im galactic north of your Empire." Arthur's eyes looked at a window as they passed it, wondering at the materials in the glass or if it was the Transparisteel they put in ships or if it was plain glass. With a shake of his head he turned back to the woman and spoke once more. "We only came into contact with the greater galaxy four months ago, after that point there was a quick series of murders, effectively wiping out all but one member of the Royal family, putting that last member on the throne. After that space travel grew to and from the planet and trade compacts have been made and.... im rambling, sorry." @[member="Isabet Denko"]
