Avery sat in the chair, eyes looking at the cold steel wall of the room that belonged to him. He was aboard the Flagship, waiting. Waiting for a package, an especially important package. Avery, after months of waiting, still had not been given a response from his master. It didn’t really bother him, just a minor announce that would put a damper on his training. All this being said, he had to take matters into his own hands. So he did. From his days as an assassin, Avery had made many friends, a couple of which had worked in the black market business. After making a few calls and detailing the items he required, he had finally found them and placed the orders.
The first item was a book, detailing the sith language and history. The second was a dainty little lightsaber, one that’s origin was unknown. The final item that Avery purchased was a sith holocron, not only was it the last item but also the most expensive, only passing the book’s price by one thousand credits.

Avery could only imagined the box contained the items he had bought. The droid lowered it’s tray to the ground, allowing the box to slide off onto the room’s carpet. After which it flew out of the room to carry out it’s other tasks.

The first item Avery found an interest in was the saber. He picked it up, gently, as he did all weapons he came in contact with. He ignited it. The blade flickered for a moment, the blade’s hum coming and going as it did. Avery swung it slowly. It was light, the blade itself didn’t have weight as to be expected. Avery looked at the chair he’s just been sitting in, he raised the saber and hit the chair and…
Nothing… the lightsaber was a training saber, it left only minor scorch marks but nothing serious. That’s disappointing, Avery thought. But it was still a lightsaber.
Avery turned his gaze back to the other items, deciding which he would inspect first.
