A Trip to Druckenwell (Alli)

Janira Fenni

It simply couldn't be done. They could not reconfigure the yards in a way to allow them to build a ship of the size necessary for their needs. It just couldn't happen. She'd frowned at this, but instead of accepting defeat, she'd turned to research. They could build new yards, which would certainly take forever and a day, or they could contract out for a single ship. Both were costly, but one was much faster. With the war coming, they just didn't have the time to sit and wait for yards to be built. They needed the command ship for coming battles against Imperial forces. It was tough to say it, but they needed help.

Her search had led her to a woman, Alli Wren. She ran a manufacturing corporation. So it was that she'd left for Druckenwell, her manufacturing center, aboard a personal transport craft. She brought two EMBU droids with her for the woman to admire, as she knew that Alli would take an interest in her offer if she saw the kind of technology that the Echani had to work with. That being the case, the ship came out of hyperspace above the planet and flew down to land. She'd sent word ahead of her arrival, and after landing, she left for the headquarters building, where she walked in and looked around before approaching the secretary. "My name is Janira Fenni. I'm here to see Alli Wren."

The secretary let her in to Alli's office. It was huge.. and took up half the top floor, and was rather empty.. it was intimidating, a lone desk stood in the center, with two chairs in front of it. Alli sat at the desk and waited for Janira to approach. She was yet another here to see her.
It was funny she found her self occupied more than ever with running the GTG... well at least on their board.. she traveled far to often. She smiled as she twirled the necklace on her neck. " So how can I help you? "
