Drip... Drip... Drip... Some places are hidden, undiscovered by man, or alien. Some are best left undiscovered.

Renn walked towards his ship reading the last known coordinates. "A water planet." He muttered. This planet was new to him, causing a sort of curiosity to overcome him. What he also found curious was when he was told he would have a partner. While he wasn't told he had some ideas.

Walking into his ship he started the systems up and called in a Manta Class Submarine. Watching a ship set near him he waited, his "partner was suppose to be here soon, so he would be ready to leave as soon as he could. Chaining the Manta he decided against testing them out for that would require him to lower them, and this process was for one way trips.

The capital city of Eve was much different from the jungles and forested terrain that inhabited Kashyyyk and Trandosha. It was a massive sphere, for all that Sussh was concerned it might as well have been a space station. Waiting on this wretched, oversized, fancy tincan of a planet infuriated him. He lived to please the Scorekeeper. To hunt. It was a blessing when he was informed of his meeting with this Discordia.

What he actually recalled their meeting was.. Perplexing to say the least. Perhaps even confound. Sussh couldn’t recall what her voice even sounded like, but the entire concept of her infuriated him. He didn’t buy into all of these delusions the Jedi and their kind liked to try to pretend they were anything more than prey.

Sussh brushed it off as he landed his ship. After grabbing and slinging on the assault rifle and sword the Agents of Chaos had given him, he exited his own ship approached what he assumed was his colleague’s.

The reptile stopped and gave a throaty chuckle before entering. If there was anything he learned after leaving Trandosha it was absolutely everybody found Trandoshans terrifying. He wasn’t sure what his accomplice had been told about his own profile, but he decided to play it safe, knock, and stand outside the ship to wait.

A water planet. This was something completely new to Sussh, but wherever the hunt goes he follows.

Renn watched the ship fly over head, he slid a sniper round into R82 and checked the lever for the barrels. Looking up he turned and walked into his ship. While he was surprised it was a Transdosha, he though about it and realized how they could be useful. As they stepped in he quietly showed Sussh around.

While it may seem weird to be silent he was tryin to concentrate on his AI talking about the planet. Apparently little was known and all expeditions have failed. Pulling his ship up into the air he had to calculate the time it would take to get to the planet. The number he came up with was about five hours. They could not enter hyperspace with the Manta in tow.

When they saw the planet he looked upon it, clouds swirling, and seemingly a very fast hurricane moving across the planet. Renn pointed you a small body of land as his AI finished its monologue, “We land there, we can set up and I’ll drop the Manta in near us.” With that they descended towards the planet, the hurricane changed directions towards them as they breached atmosphere.

Soon the hurricane was upon then, water pattering against the glass, lightning striking around them. The shadow of something came out of the clouds gripping the ship and tossing it around. Renn flew across the bridge hitting his head. The ship was tossed around a talon breaching inside. Eventually whatever it was threw the ship towards the ground. The ship hit the ground with a large splash and bobbed there.

Words weren’t needed. No formal greeting, no time wasted as Renn showed Sussh around his ship. Sussh’s grin grew, accompanied by a quiet, satisfied hiss as the AI broadcasted throughout the Locus Fighter. They knew the stakes of the mission, but the more dangerous the better. This was sounding like he would have the chance to finally kill some worthy prey.

It was a long five hours on the way to the planet, but the planet’s atmosphere was interesting to say the least. Sussh’s biggest concern was the hurricane. Not that he was afraid of it, but it was he was worried if these types of storms were frequent, there might not be any native species to kill on the planet. It may have made things easier, but he didn’t want easy. Sussh wanted a challenge.

He sucked it up and nodded his acknowledgement to the plan as they descended, but from there things started to escalate. As the hurricane enveloped them the Trandoshan began to stiffen, this was reminding him of when the Jedi had shot down his ship, killing all of his hunting party in the process. No. He wasn’t going to die like this, not to weather.

It all happened so fast as a shadow seemed to take hold of the ship, thrashing around the fighter. Sussh grabbed hold of a doorway, his claws almost tearing into the interior as he was swept off his feet. He gasped as a large talon breached the inside, first out of terror, then he laughed from excitement. Prey. Whatever this large creature was, all Sussh knew was that he wanted to kill it.

The Locus crashed into the water, knocking the air out of him as he the force slammed him to the ground. He quickly shook his head and tried to stand, ignoring the pain. The ship was afloat and he looked out from the massive hole the beast had left. The creature was seemingly satisfied with the mayhem it had left. He decided to looked for Renn and remembered he had hit his head. If he was unconscious Sussh didn't know, but the ship seemed to be damaged and he wasn't sure how far the island was from how they had been thrown off course.

The bobbing of the downed craft on the ocean woke Renn. He shot up looking around then fell back to the ground, resting his back against the side and coughed. A headache had formed from the hit and he held a hand there. His HUD said that he hadn’t been out for too long, only 15 minutes. Standing he decided to access the ship’s damage. Nodding to Sussh, he said, “How are you holding up?” There was a giant hole in his ship, it would be difficult to repair but to his knowledge, it was the only way out.

Walking he hopped onto the hole, pulling himself out of the ship and looking around. About 10 meters away was a rock and an arrow on it, upon following it, it pointed downwards. The Manta had landed near them, luckily. The crew for it though were nowhere in sight, their vitals were lines. His R82 and dagger were on the ship and all he had was his XR-18 was in its holster by his side. Hopping into the water it was surprisingly warm.

Swimming towards the Manta, Renn looked into the water. A large creature swam below him, four massive mandibles coming from its cheeks (Retekas). It looked up occasionally, small black eyes watching Renn. Before it could do anything more Renn climbed aboard the Sun and started the systems. He piloted the thing towards the Locus, as it quietly hummed.

Sussh gave a growl at Renn's question, followed by a nod. He was sturdy, but he was very tired of crash landings. As Renn dropped out into the water and swam towards the manta, Sussh took the opportunity to regain his bearings. He slung his sword that had flown off in the chaos back over his shoulder and grabbed his assault rifle. Once he peered out of the hole in the side of the Locus ship he watched as the Submarine made it's way back towards him along with a soft hum.

A loud roar shook the Locus as the Reteka swam to the Manta and crashed into the side of it. It didn't look like any damage had been done but it was clear they had gotten too close and provoked the beast. Sussh was first taken aback by the size of the beast, but he quickly shook himself out of his shock and opened fire aiming towards the back of it's head. The beast let out another roar and began to swim back down to the depths, a trail of blood following after it. It didn't look like the creature was too hurt but they had scared it off. Once Sussh was sure it was gone, at least for the moment, he signaled for Renn to quickly bring the sub to the Locus. If these things were anything like sharks, they would be back, following the scent of blood.

The Manta rocked from the blow, tipping far to the side. He was about to pull up the defense systems when he heard shots from the open hatch. Popping up he said, "Hold your fire, the bullets may sound like small animals, good easy prey." Hopping up he walks along the top and jumps onto the Locus, climbing back in, he set the repair droid to do its duty and grabbed his Dagger and R82.

Climbing back over he scrolled through the cameras as he looked downwards into the darkness, small fish were attracted by the blood, but nothing else. The water seemed endless, but Renn started up the engines diving system and places his weapons in the armory.

Upon Renn's warning he slung the rifle back over his shoulder and pulled out his sword. He doubted anything would come preying for them with that strange Leviathan underneath them, but perhaps he was wrong. Judging from the atmosphere when they entered the planet, they were in fact in a planetary sized ocean with only one stretch of land seen so far. There was no telling how many of those creatures there were, or the sizes of them. Whatever this relic was Sussh had no idea how or what it was doing here, but he supposed he better learn how to adapt to these behemoths quickly.

He trusted that Renn knew how to pilot most of the craft, growing up on Trandosha Sussh was relatively uneducated with technology more advanced than flying a starship. He boarded over onto the Manta growling, "If we go down too deep, how are we supposed to end up finding your ship when it's done being repaired? And how do we know where we're supposed to be going anyway? We're thrown off course, did you get a tracker or something I didn't?"

Renn was hitting the engine into gear, the sun was going down now, “I will remember it because I have it’s position marked. Now it’s been a long day I will be hiding the Manta and turning all lights off, I recommend we get some shut eye.” Finding a spot in between two rocks he parked the Manta and shut off all lights on the bridge, what was left was complete darkness.

Turning on night vision he grabbed his R82 and brought it with him to a small study. Turning on the fire he closed the door, the only window was a one way mirror. It took up the wall and walking to a shelf Renn pulled down a book and started reading. Eventually he was tired and fell asleep.

It had three hours since he slept and a blue light was filling the room, the fire was out, automatically turning off after a while. Looking outside he thought to himself, day already? Getting up he was about to walk out and get Sussh until he realized that the light was inconsistent. Walking to the glass he looked out as the light faded, back to darkness. It suddenly shown very bright four glassy eyes looking at Renn, it passed realizing it only saw itself.

Walking out of the room Renn left his R82 in the study he walked through the bridge as he followed the creature, its light getting dimmer with each push, then getting brighter after the light was gone. Renn was extremely confused, it looked like a crab and moved like one to. Turning around the room filled with the light blue tint. The noise of it walking was like small rocks on metal. It peered back at him tearing back to strike, when a loud Roar sounded and out of the blue came a massive webbed hand grabbing the creature off the craft and pulling it down.

Renn turned on power the Manta lighting up and in the downward camera a face appeared, it was far away but it was massive and closing in, the ranks wouldn’t fill fast enough Renn sounded an alarm, and grabbed his rifle, ascending to the top of the Manta. Moving to on the front glass he looked down firing his sniper, it merely just annoyed the creature.

The Trandoshan growled his annoyance toward Renn’s more lackluster answer. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust he knew what he was doing, but he didn’t like being kept in the dark by his inability to pilot the submarine. These issues were getting annoying. Nevertheless, Sussh slumped down against the wall and fell asleep with time.

He didn’t wake until a loud road shook the Manta. The reptile quickly shot up, grabbing his rifle, then remembering Renn’s advice and pulling out the Sword of Eve. The alarms activated and then he heard Renn’s sniper going off. He scrambled up to the top to see what was going on and flinched in response to seeing the large outline of the creature. Sussh put in a rebreather and jumped out into the water, his narrow pupils straightened seeing with his facial gift of thermal vision so the darkness wouldn’t be a problem for him.

He screamed seeing the full mass of it. He was about to swim back up to the top of the manta before hearing a loud roar again, but from a different direction. It was the large creature from before, or at least one of the same species from before making its way towards them. Sussh wasn’t for sure if it was attracted by the gunshots, was coming after them or hatred or didn’t notice the other behemoth of a beast under them.

Regardless, the Reteka got to Sussh first and charged forward trying to devour him whole. Sussh managed to evade the speed of its lunge but barely, one of its mandibles hitting and knocking the air out of him. He grabbed ahold of the mandible and started hacking at it with his sword. Blood spewed our into the ocean and the beast continues to roar, thrashing around with Sussh only holding on with his claws dug into the flesh. It’s skin was tough and muscular, probably too strong to be pierced in a stabbing motion. The creature’s other mandibles worked to try to restrain him and push him into its mouth. After a few seconds of holding on and hacking with all of his might the mandible was cut off. The creature again roared in pain and shook him off.

Whatever was happening with the other creature he didn’t know, but he hoped Renn was either dealing with it or the smaller leviathan was causing a distraction.

Renn watched as the creature turned towards the other leviathan, turning he watched as the systems fully turned on and the ballast tanks filled with air and the Manta shot upwards. Holding on as water rushed by him, the ship flew out of the water and came back down with a loud crash. Renn coughed as the hit from the water rattled his insides. Climbing onto the submarine, he read his ship's time until ready, apparently it was still a long while.

Hopping back in he sat down and just ran the scanners. Peering out the window into the starry sky he sighed, they were way in over their heads. Walking to the armory he grabbed the biggest thing he could find, an RPS-6. The creatures on this planet were massive and made the submarine look miniscule. Above the sight of wings and storm clouds caught his attention, he hit the ships ballast tanks to release them, causing the Manta to sink slightly. What in god's name were they going to do.

Sussh stared in disbelief as the large creature grabbed hold of the Reteka and began to pull it farther under, seemingly satisfied with his prey. The smaller one thrashed violently almost hitting Sussh as it was pulled away. The Manta shot upwards beside him, the Trandoshan couldn't blame Renn, the larger one was at least four times the size of the one he had encountered and could easily grab hold of their submersible. He didn't know how deep he currently was, but Sussh swam upward, the Reteka's roars slowly fading in the distance, until it let out a deafening cry, likely the result of it's life ending.

The consuming ocean was overwhelming as he swam up. He had no idea how deep he was but he followed the small spec he saw at the surface that was the Manta. It was just bobbing there, with every direction except up seemingly appearing as a vast unending blue. It was similar to what it was like being alone in space, but this felt far more haunting. Sussh refused to look down, if he could still see the larger creature Sussh didn't want to, even if it wasn't visible anymore he refused to peer into the unending that was below him because of how vulnerable he felt.

After a few minutes, Sussh emerged and entered the Manta, he immediately collapsed onto the floor, exhausted from over exerting himself to get back as soon as possible.
