A true welcoming is overdue

Hakora Cinthra, the boy who had to quickly become a man and change who he was as a padawan and become someone completely different in order to pursue his desire of peace now stood on the peak of a large building being surrounded by wind gusting all around him. He stood there in waiting for the one he had summoned which was funny because the one he had summoned happened to also be his leader among the Order. Though Hakora did not summon [member="Darth Tsolan"] as the Leader of Vitae to the Leader of Teveni, no he summoned him as Alexandra's brother and only male left alive in the family. Since this whole war on Alderaan, Hakora had only met Tsolan a few times and they were short, he had yet to really meet him and talk to him one on one and now that his sister was mothering his child, it was about time he get on it.

Hakora stood on top of a skyscraper with no weapons as he had requested Tsolan bring no weapons, but fighting would happen as the Mandalorians had taught him that real fighting with steel brought out the true person under it all and Hakora was going to see the weal Vulps. Be hind Hakora halfway between the door onto the roof and where Hakora stood was two old and expertly made katanas.

Tsolan let out a small sigh as he read the summon. It was unexpected to say the least, especially wince there were few ways to contact him. Still, it was possible and if Hakora went through the trouble, Vulpesen saw little other choice but to humor him.

As he stepped forward, he noticed the blades and rose a brow. "And why exactly have you called me here? It doesn't look like you intend to talk a lot by what you've brought with you." Of course, he'd ignored the clause about no weapons. Trust was a rare thing for him in these days, as such, he never went somewhere without being armed.

Hakora turned towards him once he heard Vulps speak and gazed upon him with his stormie grey yet glowing blue eyes. Hakora saw Vulps wearing his ever popular mask which caused Hakora to raise an eyebrow, "I am your girlfriend's brother, aren't I suppose to be the untrusting one? She said you have changed lately and become different as your time with the Sith continues. I am no Sith and no longer a Jedi, we are similar, both of us are former Jedi Shadows, but I am going to ask you to trust me and honor the request for no weapons, I rather you not hurt me and a sword is easier to defend than a lightsaber." Hakora then walked forward to close the distance and stood near the swords where there were some simple, fowdable chairs. "You and my sister are more than just lovers, you have a child. I trust her to make the right decisions and so I will not even pretend you will seek my blessing to continue nor will I make judgement unless you hurt her. I merely asked you here to learn about who you are and I asked you to trust me because I see in you that you are very inward and untrusting and I wish you not to hold back anything and trust I will not reveal anything to anyone about what we discuss. The swords are here for that same purpose, if you prefer to show me who you really are through combat I offer you that option. In return, I will reveal anything you want to know about me, but I am young and less experienced so I doubt I have seen or done all you have."

Tsolan continued to watch the boy as he told him his plan. So that was what he was after. It was a fair thing as Alexandra herself was an Echani, a people known for communication through combat. "I trust none for I am in a position where it is impossible. I've been betrayed before by those I saw as most dear to me." He took one of the swords, swirling it several times in his hands. "Alexandra and Ace, until I am free from the bondage of my condition are the only ones I feel I can even relax around."

He focused once more on the blade. Heavy, and certainly not useful for the style of makashi, his main form. Still, his zorren strength compensated for the weight, and he had wielded a sword for years before he became a jedi. For him, it was just dusting off some new skills. "I will allow you the first advance."

"You will fine that Alex and I are almost twins so I am sure you will relax eventually." Hakora grabbed a sword and spun it in a figure 8 and then did a Makashi salute before he went for a medium guard which had nothing to do with his style of Vaapad. He took a breath and relaxed as he focused on the combat and smiled at the fight to transpire. Then with a flash he moved forward with every step intentional and with the last step that would have brought Hakora in range he pivoted to send him in the air a few feet for a skyward stab to start the show, he then rotated in the air after the stab which then landed him in front of Tsolan where the rotation gave Hakora momentum for a slash aimed for the cut. Once the slash movement was complete, Hakora stopped it and brought it back for a stab to the kidney. All these movements were fluid and within a second's time, but he was not fully in Vaapad yet.

Vulpesen's golden eyes watched Hakora's attack. 'Fool.' It was a common thought, often aimed at those who attacked him from the air. By pure instinct, Vulpesen took a small jump back and sent his hand downwards, aiming to slam Hakora into the ground with a simple force grip. Any landing had a recoil, it was simply unnoticeable most of the time. But with this move, the recoil from Hakora's landing would likely prove to much to allow him the chance to continued his streams of attacks. Still, Vulpesen was prepared to keep defending himself if by some miracle, the boy managed to keep moving.

Hakora smirked and in a sense let the force grip work because he predicted and hoped Tsolan would under estimate Hakora and use such a simple and weak move. Vaapad was not about counters in the traditional since, but using the person's powers against them. Hakora's first move was given more power and speed by the pulling down motion which would send the sword through Tsolan's shoulder unless by a miricle he caught his mistake. The force grip added to Hakora's landing and with a little of Hakora's power to perfect it he continued the spin attack, but the power of him hitting the ground was sent out like a force repulse instead of hurting Hakora with the shock. Hakora continued with the stab that expertly went with the spinning slash, but also brought his free arm under his stab's shadow to attempt to hide the attack and sent a powerful force push that had a bit of lightning in it to wake Tsolan's body.

Vulpesen rose a brow as the sword's tip slammed into the ground. He had jumped back for a reason. As the force rippled through the area, he stood fairly unaffected. Say what he wanted, [member="Hakora Cinthra"] was still a knight, as such quick uses of his high class powers would seem more for show at this point. As he then tried a spinning slash, Vulpesen brought one hand to the flat of his blade, to brace himself as brought his sword into a vertical block. There was a loud clang as Hakora slammed his weapon into Vulpesen's causing a small budge but not enough to cause any advantage.

A moment later and Vulpesen felt the force concentrating in around his opponent. Smart, but with the time spent splitting his focus into two attacks, Vulpesen simply did what came by instinct. Two small pops could be heard. One for his leg going out of joint, the other for it going into joint. His leg was then suddenly brought UP TO A 90 degree angle in an instant, then it shot out to slam an inhuman kick into Hakora's chest. Vulpesen could use the force alright, but he preferred to test his body. And even if his opponent did launch off a burst, it would likely be sent off course by the kick.

Tsolan was wrong on two levels. Hakora was a Knight, but this did not mean the level in power between the two was separated by a canyon. As a young Padawan, Hakora could fight on par with Knights and even Alex in some areas. As a Knight, Hakora had traveled the Galaxy to become a fierce some warrior and this fight would prove so. Second, Hakora was calm and a Vaapad user, his focus was a strength and his eyes, though confused by the action, saw the kick. Hakora merely moved his hand slightly so the force push was directed at the kick's origins. Hakora also moved with his speed back out of range for merely a second and rushed back in. With the momentum of coming back in he sent a wide downward arc from the sky to the ground with his sword at Tsolan. The reason for the wide movement was to add to the next move which made Hakora move forward and his leg come up behind him sending a scorpian kick to Tsolan's face with the same speed of Tsolan's previous kick. Hakora was not a dog like Taolan, but he was Echani and speed was Hakora's power as physical power was not a strength for Hakora.

Tsolan let out a small growl as his kick was halted just enough to give Hakora some breathing room. Swinging it back with the, he planted it on the ground to keep his balance. This time as Hakora rushed in, Tsolan's golden eyes flashed and he raised his hand. A large force push issued its way forward and into the knight, aimed to send him away. A master telekinesis, there were few who could match him in this ability. Hakora was almost certainly, not one of those few. "Enough." Summoning the force to his will, he focused it into the area around Hakora, aiming to cut off a chance of escape as he lifted everything from Hakokora and out two meters into the air.

Hakora had come to learn character through combat. His mistake was giving Vulpesen a weapon not of his choosing. A weapon, he had now dropped to the ground. No matter how artfully crafted, such a weapon would never be in his style and thus he would resort to other means, means that truly spoke for him. Hakora wanted to know who he was? This was him. Humoring at first, but when resistance was met, he focused on ruthless efficiency. A jedi, a sith, or a Tenevi, it didn't matter. He aimed to put an end to conflict. His hands went downward, hard and powerful to slam Hakora into the ground, enough force to override any resistance, but just enough to keep from killing or maiming him.

Even after the first hit, his hold would likely stay and in a moment he'd fling Hakora at a side wall, then the other, then the roof. Such was the failure of Vaapad. It was made for masters for masters could sustain it. Pure offense, if your opponent took even a second to breath, you could fall. It channeled the dark side through aggression and when aggression failed and turned to defense, the style would fall apart. Vulpesen had his second and now, he took the role of the attacker. Vulpesen may not have studied saber forms, but he knew force philosophies. The philosophy of attack in vapaad, was something he had never considered for a reason.

Vulpesen was right that Hakora was not perfect and had much learning and that he was not a match for Vulpesen, but that was not going to stop Hakora from continuing this fight.

As the Force Push came, Hakora vanished and reappeared to Vulpesen's left side still charging, but was grasped very tightly by the Force which was a rare thing as he had never met such power in telekinesis. Hakora was lifted in the air, but he did not scream even though his body was feeling the pain of the crushing. He did, however, quickly use Force Empowerment as he was slammed down into the ground. Wrapping his body in the Force he hit the building with a mighty crash sending depree everywhere, but Vulpesen wasn't finished with Hakora. Hakora was on his knees covered in blood from the injuries, but he was alive and more than alive.

Hakora used the Force to fight Vulpesen's grip. He stay knelt, but slowly looked at Vulps with an inner rage burning, it was clear he could not hold back anything. He continued to fight back against until it was becoming an even struggle and Hakora got enough room to lift his arm and he harnessed all he could and fired back the force grip with his own force push aiming straight for Velpsesen. Hakora then lunged at Vulpesen with his sword in hand and attacked him with a flurry of slashs, arcs and jabs with all the speed he could unleash in the form of Vaapad.
