A usual day

Adal armina, the Jedi life didn't seem.much for her, she really had learned a little and now was around as she kept up with her business, to and fro she went delivering everything, from a child to a rancor and in between

Why? Money was a good thing to have however, sometimes you needed people who had the experience at dealing with the trash

And so, she had hired a man who...was running a bit late, she tapped her foot waiting for the [member="John Ash"]

John Ash

What was it with ship captains and giving you conflicting times to meet up? It always seemed to happen this way for John. He had been offered a new job of acting as security during a trip for a freighter. It had seemed easy enough so he excepted it and then was given about three different times of when to meet with the client. This might not be the fault of a [member="Adal Armina"] but its what had happened. So as he came to the hangar that the ship was in, he made sure to begin studying over the ship he was going to protect. It never hurt to be prepared in these situations.

John walked up to Adal and held out a hand to her as he came close. He said as he studied her over, "I'm John Ash. Are you Ms. Armina?" She didn't seem to be too shady looking, although there was some signs of her being annoyed on her face. Great, she was going to be one of those clients then. It was always a long trip when he had to put up with a client that was going to be frustrated by every little thing he did. He was hired to provide an extra opinion on a situation and yet pilots always acted like he was getting in their way. This one seemed like she was going to be the same.

She watched the man approach, she had soon dropped the annoyed look after realizing one thing, she had tasked her men to find someone to help with security...so she gave a friendly smile shook the man's hand as she nodded

That would be me a pleasure to.me you Mr ash glad you accepted this job

She said and turned

Please follow me I'll give you a tour of the place

Seemed that [member="Adal Armina"] decided to change her tone and look after John showed up. Hopefully she didn't try to put on too many airs with him. He hated all of the subterfuge and deceit that others always found so appealing. What was the point in not being honest and to to the point? You just wasted your time and others if you didn't. Life was too short after all, might as well get as much out of it as you could. This job wasn't about his philosophical beliefs though, so he should just get into a mind set more suited for this job.

John nodded to Adal after she mentioned to follow her. He trailed along behind her as he took his helmet off. He didn't need it right now and it was rude to hide your face from a customer on an honest job. He placed it on his right side and held it there as he glanced around. He said as he continued to follow her, " What are the details of this job? Extra security for an delivery is all I am aware of right now. What is the destination? Who is the client? What are we delivering?" It was a bit all at once with the questions, but he needed to know the answers if he was going to form a plan of action.

She gave a smile as they boarded into the cargo hold, it was quite large but perfect size for a freighter, she nodded to a man who was moving boxes onto the ship

Normal security really, however this one is heading to nar shadda to a seedy client didn't really trust him when we messaged back and forth but that shouldn't be a problem now that we have someone more...qualified

She said and stopped turning to him

Clients a trandoshan slaver, now I don't like the trandoshan types but money is money and right now he's paying high price for some cages and weapons along side restraining devices

The woman just said the location for the delivery was Nar Shaddaa didn't she? Why couldn't that have been in the message to begin with? He could have taken a shuttle instead of his own ship then and avoided the additional trip. He could have just finished up the job and then just gone home with fresh credits in his pocket. But that was not how things went here. He was just going to have to deal with the fact he was going to spend more credits on fuel.

John listened as [member="Adal Armina"] said something about a trandoshan slaver. The cargo was weapons, cages, and restraining devices. Definitely a very slaver oriented cargo for this trip. He frowned as he listened to her tell him all of this. Slavers were not the most trustworthy sort. There were a few out there that honored their business deals, but most were just as likely to make you a slave than to pay you. Trandoshans were almost always the ones to turn on you too. He waited a moment before he said, " Sounds risky. Are those the only cargo or will we be transporting live product as well?"

So far that's all I'm transporting, hence why your here, no one trust a trandoshan over anything* she said as she led him to a small room* here you can sleep and such, I know it's not much but food and other stuff is paid from my pocket no charge to you

She said in a kind voice

This job was looking too easy for John right now. He didn't trust it. The ship captains rarely offered that much to him when he was working escort for them. He couldn't say anything though right now against the offer as there was no evidence to support it was a trick or a trap of some kind. He looked over to her and said, " Understood. I will wait here until you need me then." He walked over to the bunk and sat down on it. He hadn't spent that much time inside of a ship like this, so it was odd to him to be in a bunk. Would this be his life if he had actually become an officer for the Republic? He preferred his current life more than this. He had his own home, his own ship, and he could do as he saw fit with his time. If he didn't want to work he didn't have to, not that he had that luxury usually.

John laid down onto the bunk as he looked up to the roof above him. As soon as [member="Adal Armina"] ran into any trouble or they made it to their destination then he would be needed. Until then though he was just going to rest as much as he could. He had heard plenty of stories about how important sleeping every chance you got was from his dad before he died growing up, and had experienced it on longer jobs in dangerous locations. If they were looking to deal with a Trandoshan slaver then he would need to be rested up. So he closed his eyes as he attempted to allow sleep to wash over him.
