A Well Deserved Respite [Dragon School]

Voss
(No posting order)

In Josh's eyes, all of his Padawans had been working hard. [member="Douglas Starwind"] and [member="Dusaro Dresari"] were doing splendidly, having obtained their lightsabers and had found their niche helping out The Silver Jedi. [member="Anora Vahn"], [member="Yag'dril"], [member="Seskel Sangrey"] and [member="#24061"] (Dimah Nubaan, who for some reason still has their slave number as their account name) were coming into their own at their own pace, as well.

As a reward, Josh had invited his class to the Rangers bar on Voss, for a round of drinks. He hoped that a brief - but very well deserved - respite, would lift their spirits and help them refocus on their training. Of course, he had also sent a message out to Master [member="Gherron Vael"] who he kept in contact with as well, about the meeting. He mentioned his class would be there and that it would be a good opportunity to meet his students and get to know them, if he wished. He also sent a message out to his former Padawan, Master [member="Marek S'hadar"] about it as well, though he wasn't sure if he would accept as the two had not spoken in some time. But the offer was there, if he wished it. His school was welcome, both past and present. Having recently done a favor for the bar's owner, the drinks were on the house for him and his party tonight...

She was looking at everything there, as her white scales slid across the floor and went around into the bar. She had been here before, working with the likes of Willa before she had found a master. The Vahla Ranger was still around but she was far more reclusive with all of the transfers there were. Since the things she had done for Sorel were overlooked and abandoned it only left for them a number of things and a lot of ranger's were left out in the cold... so Yag had spent more then enough time with all of them having a small grin on her face now as she got a drink seeing a few of the people that she knew. Her training robes clinging to her upper body and covering down to her hands.

(Cause I cannot seem to change it! Plus, I've been busy moving into my first apartment.)

Dimah looked around her wincing at the noise in the bar. She was nervous, but no one seemed to be leading at her like at other bars a d clubs she used to be dragged to.

"Master Dragon?" She slid nervously into the chair next to him.

Dusaro was eager for the meeting and 'hang out' of Josh's various Padawans. While him and Doug had been doing plenty together, he hadn't seen much more from the other's as of late. After the entire Charros IV situation he did want to unwind some. Fortunately, Dusaro knew both just the drink he wanted to get as he walked into the ranger bar. He had seen the place before but never stopped by. Seeing the very distinct and unique sight of [member=Yag'dril] sliding up to the bar Dusaro followed suit "Hello Yag'dril, haven't seen ya'z in a while, how are you?" The golden skinned Firrerreo asked, his two toned platinum blonde and silver hair just a bit on the unkempt side. Dusaro did not wear the usual Jedi Robes, opting for his usual cargopants, spacer boots and sleevless vest. As ever, he had his bandanna around his neck. The only thing that really stood out about him was the glove on his right arm that coverd from his hand up to several inches past his elbow.

Doug had been a little surprised that the group were heading out, but not really for any important tasks or anything. They were just... Relaxing at some sort of bar on the home planet of their respective Jedi Temple. It wasn't just a few of them either. All of the Padawans that Josh had amassed over the past few years had been invited to show up and apparently even a few of Josh's past students. Doug wasn't really one to partake in drinking alcohol, but he figured he could use the relaxation aspect of hanging out in this place and talking with the others. He had been very focused on his training, studies, and other affairs recently so he figured he could use some time off from it. His Master was the one that stretched out the invitation to begin with so... Why not?

Doug stepped into the Ranger bar and his eyes darted to the sides a bit. He was wearing his own pair of Jedi attire as it had become what he was accustomed to wearing in most situations. Maybe it was a bit much for a simple night of relaxation, but he didn't have much else to wear. This was not exactly his type of environment, but he was surrounded by friendly people at least. Nobody likely to cause a ruckus in theory. His icy eyes caught the presence of his Master and some of the other Padawans. He caught the sight of Yag'dril, the girl who kinda reminded him of a snake. Quite unlike anyone else he had seen in his journey thus far. He also caught sight of... "Numbers" he believed Josh referred to her as? Of course, he also saw his good buddy Dusaro.

Doug pat himself on the face a few times, took a deep breath, and walked on over to where the gang was at, an awkward, yet cheerful expression on his face. "Heh... Hey there, everyone. It's been awhile since I've seen some of you." He said to no one in particular, the last remark aimed more towards Yag'dril and Dimah. He then got himself a seat near them, crossing his arms and looking around the area more.

First [member="Yag'dril"] would arrive. Then [member="#24061"], then [member="Dusaro Dresari"] and then [member="Douglas Starwind"]. A small smile crossed his lips as his Jedi Padawans would begin to fill into the room. He would nod his head as he would motion them all toward the table he had reserved for them. "Greetings. I suppose at the least everyone who has filed in so far has met one another. Suppose that means part of my training was done right if you're at least familiar with the rest of your fellow students" He would admit, chuckling lightly. "Hopefully the rest will file in as well, and you may meet the rest of those who you have in common with. You never know... They may join you on missions in time as well" He added.

"Your training has yielded you much in the way of the Jedi. But tonight it yields you a night of rest. Drink as much as you like... It's on the house."

"What's the preference for what you lot like to drink?"

"Careful how you all answer, he might drill you later while you're incapacitated, just for a few laughs." Came a voice as a hooded man approached their table without warning, the fellow quickly removing the hood as he approached. The learners might not have recognized him as none had met him in person, perhaps one or two at least knew of him but if they didn't he couldn't say he blamed them. But Josh knew him, he knew him better than almost anyone. Marek S'hadar had tried Josh the first time he met him, deep in the swamps of Dagobah, surrounded by the undead, before the two came to a begrudging alliance. Much had changed since then, but alas that was where it all began.

The Jedi Master chuckled lightly before adding, "That's just his sense of humor."

If Anora was to be a hundred percent honest, taking a break from training felt strange. Not strange enough to keep her from doing as such, but strange regardless. Which was only solidifying proof that she needed the break. She had gotten the invitation to take a break and meet up with everyone, and so she took the opportunity. Studying too hard for too long without a break was bad for you anyway, right?

So she had made her way to the Ranger bar, though hesitated once she stepped within. She took the time to scan the place, to really soak in her surroundings before she caught sight of the others – or those she recognized at least. She made her way to the group, though didn’t sit immediately and instead waved a hand to the lot of them in greeting. “Evening, gang.” She let out as she looked them all over again.

Doug smiled at the gang's Master's kind words and the gesture. He wasn't sure what they really had to offer at this bar. He thought it would be kinda weird to ask if they had something flavorful that... Didn't have alcohol. He scratched his head and pondered over it.

While he was pondering, he then heard a voice that... Was unfamiliar to him. He looked around and caught sight of Marek S'hadar, who had just arrived. Doug did not know who this was, but the man clearly knew who Josh was so he must've been friendly. Given the snarky little joke that this man made, it was likely. Perhaps an introduction was in order. "Heheh. I guess so. I'm pretty sure we haven't met before... I'm Doug, one of Josh's students. And you?" He said towards Marek in a polite manner after briefly chuckling at his remark.

He then glanced at Anora, who had just arrived herself, and smiled warmly, waving at her. Like Dusaro, she was a more familiar face to him at this point so it was nice to see her here as well. He then awaited Marek's response for introductions and such.

[member="Josh DragonsFlame"] [member="Marek S'hadar"] [member="Dusaro Dresari"] [member="#24061"] [member="Yag'dril"]

When [member="Anora Vahn"] arrived, Josh would wave her toward a seat, seeing as the Padawan seemed too awkward and shy to just grab a seat of her own like the others had. Apparently she needed an invitation more than he'd already given, so there it was. As Marek would make his joke though, the Jedi Master would shake his head and roll his eyes in turn.

"No use doing any drills while they're incapacitated. Unconscious bodies don't run laps very well" The Jedi Master would respond calmly. "But maybe you'd like to run some drills while we're on Voss? I can find some advanced training ones..." He trailed off, shooting [member="Marek S'hadar"] a grin in turn. "They now even have a machine that can simulate sith lightning. How about that?"

With that though, he turned to the rest, still waiting for drink ideas.

"Oh right, non alcoholic is an option, if you need it" He would clarify, realizing he hadn't mentioned before.

[member="Douglas Starwind"] - [member="Anora Vahn"] - [member="Marek S'hadar"] - [member="Yag'dril"] - [member="Dusaro Dresari"] - [member="#24061"] - [member="Gherron Vael"]

Dimah listened to the chatter, unsure about the crowd. Being a slave, you never learned any real social skills. When Master Dragon asked for drink options, her brain took over.

"Sh.....shordian ale!"

(Whatever the strongest alcoholic thing they have...... She no realize danger of alcohol in her own body yet.)

Awkward? Perhaps, but shy? Not particularly. There were just people and voices she didn't recognize. Add that to being raised not to sit at a full table unless told/asked to do so, and Anora had been content to stand for the time being. She had even caught the wave from Doug and offered him a smile and wave in return before she was gestured to, to have a seat.

She took the open spot nearest where she had been standing, but when drink orders were asked about she drew an immediate blank. Anora straightened in her chair and blinked a few times while considering options. She had no clue what drinks were called what - its not as if she's really sat around drinking anything before now, after all, but she heard enough talk to know that alcohol had a burning taste and sensation.

So, "Something where the flavor overrides the alcohol?" Now she leaned forward so that she could rest her arms against the table and then lean against her arms. "Ooo, maybe something fruity?" Yeah, she was so very obviously new at this.

It had been some time since Auron had been involved in some sort of social gathering, lest of all one involving alcohol. Though he abstained, he was humbled to have been invited. The last week had seemed a little like a blur, with a sudden change of pace to life, the acquisition of a new master and everything that came with it. But he had yet to meet the other students of Master Dragonsflame. From outside, Auron could see the warm light of the tavern spill out into the cold dark of the night. There was laughter abound, cheerful music and joyous speech. He slipped in quietly, glancing around the room quickly. Other than his master, he recognised Anora, offered a sincere smile, and nodded respectfully towards Josh as he took a seat.
"What's the preference for what you lot like to drink?"
"I shall have a sapir tea, please," Auron said calmly to the room.

Her tongue was clicking a little against her teeth for a moment. The small pointed fangs snapped into place to show she was excited with all of these people here. Before she was moving and her hand raised up to her mouth to cover them before she was seeing some of the others. Someone she had met before came around [member="Dusaro Dresari"] was there and she knew [member="#24061"] as well as her master. The others [member="Auron Song"], [member="Anora Vahn"], [member="Douglas Starwind"] and [member="Marek S'hadar"] she was more then certain she might have met them before. With a shrug the padawan moved while placing her order with a voice. "Just some blue milk please." She was looking at the others order but relaxed her body where it was sitting and was curled up a littl when her tail came up to move the chair she had moved a little further away.

Doug glanced around and took notice of Auron Song. He... Was a completely unfamiliar face to the redhead as well, much like Marek. Did Josh take up another new Padawan when Doug wasn't looking? Doug chuckled a little to himself mentally. He still had to order something to drink, but he didn't really know what there was to drink. He heard this other youth mention tea and hearing Yag'dril ordering blue milk... That brought back some memories. It was something he drank often back on Tatooine as it originated from the native Bantha species. His parents would usually go buy some from a friendly market at Mos Espa, which was located not too far from their family farm. It was an idea for a selection.

"Um... What non-alcoholic drinks do they have to offer, Master?" Doug asked Josh, turning his attention back to him. He never went out to a place like this before so he didn't even know what the alcoholic selections were, let alone the non-alcoholic ones. He figured he'd get the question out of the way before he'd make himself look silly.

"New kids get all the toys." Marek mused in response to [member="Josh DragonsFlame"], remembering their time during his training had mostly consisted of convincing him not to use Sith Lightning, as he so often had. But Marek had been a special case anyway, though he'd held the rank of padawan at the time he and Josh were roughly equals in terms of martial prowess and overall strength in the force, but S'hadar had been re-learning how to wield that power as one did when they turned from Sith to Jedi. "Corellian ale, please." He stated, ordering his drink of choice.

With a glance around the table he could only hope they'd all stay true to what they were now, he'd seen too many be corrupted by the dark side, willingly or otherwise. He trusted Josh to teach them all the Jedi way, to make them ready for whatever rose against them, but he still had his concerns as he always did.

[member="Douglas Starwind"] [member="Yag'dril"] @Auron Song [member="Anora Vahn"] [member="#24061"]

"Shordian Ale?" The Jedi Master would inquire toward Dimah as she would proclaim she wanted a very strong drink. "You're sure, Dimah? That's not exactly, well, you know, a safe drink, to be frank. Very strong, but if you insist..." He would trail off, shrugging at the demand of the formerly named [member="#24061"]. [member="Anora Vahn"] seemed to need a bit to choose, but ultimately chose to go with something fruity. "Fruit juice it is" He spoke toward Vahn as he would look toward [member="Auron Song"] next for his choice of drink.

"Sapir Tea, you got it" He responded as he would look toward the bartender, hoping he was getting this, and making a motion for him to pay attention and begin writing them down. "Blue Milk for the snake lady" He spoke toward the bartender, referring to [member="Yag'dril"]. "And juice for the redhead kid" He added as he motioned toward [member="Douglas Starwind"], since he wanted non-alcoholic. "And Corellian ale for the grumpy kid" He added, motioning toward [member="Marek S'hadar"] as he shot the Jedi Master a cheeky grin.

"Yeah, they do... We could have gone to see what we had at the time if I wasn't so busy convincing you not to use Force Lightning. There IS a light side equivalent you know, man, geez" He would crack, shaking his head as he chuckled lightly. "But that's all in the past... And we can always check out the newest training gear. I hear they got in some simulation tech... Thinking of seeing if I can get some of that on my ship."

"Sorry, thats then only one I know..... But there is one that tastes like honey, I don't know the name." Dimah ducked out of habit before looking as the others got thier requested drinks.

Why was she even here? She wasn't like them! She was just one to be pitted. Dimah felt tears of frustration drip down her cheeks. She tried so hard..... and failed!

She just wanted to be like the other students.....

But she knew nothing about the galaxy.

For the moment, he went ahead and order a round of Arkanian sweet milk. Though it may sound non alcholic, it was anything but, being a exceptionally strong mead with a good, milky creamy taste. While he waited for his drink to arrive, he looked at all the assorted faces who were chatting. It was good to see. He could talk with Doug, but he did that all the time since they had been on missions before, so instead he chose to talk to faces he had seen less of like Yag'dril. "I have not managed to see you around much, what all have you been doing? Training wise and all i mean." Dusaro asked Yag'dril, curious as to what the other Padwan's of Josh's were all up to that he didn't get to see much. He couldn't help but crack an amused grin at the talk that was going on in the background.

[member="Yag'dril"] @Josh DragonsFlame

She was looking at him and it was a curious question, in some cases she wasn't entirely sure how to best answer it. She had been training and learning, to try and be a better student. Compared to some of hem she was mostly focused on learing how best to move and prepare herself here. She got her milk and spoke. "I have been around, with all of the changes and well confusion of late it has been really easy to just want to stay out and away from things." She said it more to well admit she didn't like being around a done of new things and with the fact the silver jedi seemed to change direction with a stiff breeze to motications well made her sad. Sorel had brought her in and inspired her with talks of stopping the darkside but she saw them siding with darksiders to fight darksiders.
