Peak Vampire™
There was so much to be said for taking the time to travel and enjoy herself, after the whirlwind that the last several months had been. She had been pulled in a dozen different directions, her time given to whatever had been deemed important enough to warrant the possible trouble a Sith Lord's presence would bring for the First Order. It hardly mattered, though...she'd not much acted like the Master that she once was, and it suited her just fine. She had always followed her whims, and if they demanded that she remain in the grey as opposed to savoring the darkness. then so be it.
It wouldn't be the strangest thing she'd ever done, nor would it be the last time she dabbled in things most Sith would consider anathema. But to the Nether with those narrow-minded fools. The majority of them wouldn't understand opportunity if it crawled up and bit them in their family jewels.
Sighing softly, she padded barefoot through her rented penthouse suite, tossing what remained of her morning...meal...into the sunken firepit at the center of the living space. A flick of her fingers saw the fire intensify and reduce the remains to ash with a rush of the Force, then pulled it back to allow the temperature to equalize once more. With that done, Kassandra smiled absently to herself and greeted the housekeeper assigned to her suite at the door.
Permitting the woman to enter with her cadre of droids, the Lady pressed a cred chit into her palm then sauntered her way through the private hallway to the glass and wood paneled 'lift. A pair of stiletto heels was dangling from her manicured fingers, and a crimson silk wrap and towel were draped over that same arm. Her curves were clad in a minimum of iridescent black fabric, the swimsuit was a gloriously dark confection she'd picked up on her last shopping trip through the Core. Her free hand adjusted the sunglasses tucked into her loose curls, absently combing through her raven locks as they draped over her shoulders to her waist.
She padded out of the 'lift when the doors opened, sauntering her way through the sun-drenched, vine-draped lobby of the resort. It was only a few moments before Kass meandered her way to the small private beach, pleased to find it only moderately occupied at this late afternoon hour. Her things were set down on a table beside her chosen lounge chair, and then she made herself comfortable upon it, reveling in the warmth of what remained of the sun as it began to set. Her usual wine was soon brought and a glass poured for her, with the server leaving the bottle behind.
The Lordess savored the first few sips and delighted in the scenery the resort occupants provided to her. Perhaps she would find someone suitable to pass the evening with, she mused, before tugging her glasses down to cover her glittering crimson gaze and settling back into her chair.
