A Writers Thanks

I'd just like to take this opportunity to extend my personal thanks to a writer behind the character of [member="Matsu Xiangu"] and promote her because she's still quiet on the site but would love her to have the chance to RP with more of you!

I've been here for just about 4 months now and met some wonderful people; talented writers, gifted artists and overall people who share my passion for Star Wars, RP and imaginative, fun creative writing. So, while here, thank YOU all for making this site great and so addictive

But the last month or so has been focused on my character Krius as well as Matsu in an idea that came from her mind to simply develop her character and bridge the journey from wide-eyed wanderer to become twisted Acolyte at the expense of brutal and broken relationship, still quite new to the site herself.

It's been a trilogy of threads that have been the best I have written, and it's given me the chance to start and end a story arc full of every emotion I can think about from happiness, anger, confusion, heartache to name a few. It's tested me creatively and at times emotionally to really write something that reads as entertaining, but real and heartfelt. But mainly just...fun. No judging, no harsh critique and no mockery.

Look at me banging on....

ANYWAY I just want to say THANK YOU to a gifted writer, an exceptional talent here and brimming with passion and ideas for solid writing and story-telling for giving me the chance to really connect with one of my characters. It's brought a lot to me recently to have that creative writing bug constantly bitten, and been a great help in general. Krius has now been able to progress drastically and had his image changed at the result of their meeting, which I feel was really important for expanding the character.

If you have the time, I'd be proud for you to have a look at our trilogy known as 'The Breaking Of Matsu Xiangu' and see how well she gets into the skin and mind of her character.

I urge you to pursue a RP with her, for developmental sake or simply to experience writing with deep thought process as I don't regret it for a second and know that she has a skill there that others can continue to bring out, and vice versa for her enticing others to write their best.

Hehe, I back Krius' enthusiasm full heartedly, Matsu is one of those rare writers whose characters really live. They ain't just arch-types or rips, they are their own persons with their own quarks and traits. Absolutely love writing with 'er, so yeah. Start spamming her folks, her writing will bring out the best in every one of ya.

Well, excuse me while I go blubber a bit!

Thank you so much - I'm just glad to have a found a community that's about more than smacking each other with a lightsaber, and where I can feed this hobby with people who like it just as much as I do. Everyone I've met has been wonderful and pushed me to think and be a better writer.

Can't wait until Matsu & Krius meet again. :devil:

Already in the middle of a thread with the wonderful woman who you so proclaim!

Yes I can say that she is awesome at RPing and very much so is someone who just does not simply sit around to do nothing. I have also RPed with her other character Asaak Tey who we never really finished our thread with that. But it was very fun to write with her. Only recently I remember going onto the IRL photos of people and I thought she looked familiar (when she wasn't sadly) and that started us RPing.

We should probably have a thread where we point out cool things that other players have done that we appreciate. If we don't already. Might make for a nice change of pace. I know this has certainly given me the warm fuzzies - everyone should have those.

If the world tells me things, it's that people jump on the negative too easily and forget the positive hence my post elsewhere to support our fellow RPrs living in places where there is constant danger and terror at work.

SO if there is any room for us to simply say thanks, to make someone smile and actually heap praise and simple hugs to someone or something for just making the day a little brighter, then glad it could happen.

Just shows what a community we really are at heart. Bonkers, but one big happy RP family.
