Because even HRD need a suit for the ball.

- Triple Ionization Buffers, three lays of rubber, dampening foam, and trapped air makes this armor very strong armor against weapons looking to easily disable droids in a single shot. The rubber and air layers help to insulate the occupant from the effects of lightning for example. To a lesser extent plasteel in the coating aids with this function also, and the dampening foam helps vastly reduce the effects of EMP radiation on the wearer.
- Retractable Helmet, the armor though heavy can be worn under a suit.
- Gadgets. Infrared Motion Detection | Helmet Comm-Link | Wristband Blades | ATRS. ATRS tamper resistance is standard on key systems, not the suit itself.
- PLA-CORR Coating and Finish - 50% Anti-Corr | 50% Plasteel allows the armor to keep a scratch-resistant finish that also helps reduce corrosive wear and tear against the elements over time.
- Triple Ionization Buffers Buffers, three lays of rubber insulation, dampening foam and plasteel coating.
- TM1 Alloy. 50% Madilon makes for good kinetic resistance, countering force users often reliance on pulling apart droids or crushing them, it also gives slugs a hard time penetrating the armor.
- TM1 Alloy 50% Turadium makes this armor very hard to cut with lightsabers, again a counter to force users specifically.
- Gadgets. Infrared Motion Detection | Helmet Comm-Link | Wristband Blades | ATRS
- Average everyday regular weapons, like a Blaster or Sonic Pistol will do good damage to the armor.
- Turadium is very heavy, 50% of this is Turadium, making the armor itself with all its components very heavy to transport or move in.
- Weight makes stealth in this armor almost impossible, the ground will creak, and footsteps will be pronounced, especially with a heavier droid wearing it.
- The layers to this armor make it hard to maintain and are expensive. This is not a cost-effective design or easy to repair.
Clearance Level B5
Mr Black's primary concern in a HRD bodyguard is making it competitive with the average force user or dangerous assassin looking for a quick kill. As such this armor has been designed to counter force users or a quick emp grenade. While the trade-off is this design is weaker to the everyday man and woman with a blaster in their hand. Wanting reliable security for his son, Black's father originally started the project years ago but has recently passed it over to Apex Industrial to complete. Though the armor is expensive, it is not intended for mass production, but instead a small team of dangerous droids that surround Black.
Twenty-three prototypes were tested before this design was settled on to mark Balen Black's twenty-third birthday, the final one was a gift from his father. Certain designers pushed for more blaster protection, but that was shelved in favor of making the armor more resistant to being force pushed or pulled, making the wearer harder to simply rip apart even for a strong force user. In testing with paid consultant force users, this ability to last longer being thrown around or crushed has proven a useful advantage to units on protection details.
