STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Battle Hardened Soldier
Has a decade of experience on battlefields throughout the entire galaxy.
Combat Veteran
Has used every kind of weapon imaginable alongside every kind of munition available. From ranged combat to melee, He can take almost anything and use it as a deadly weapon. He is also skilled in a variety of martial arts and close combat techniques.
Special Forces Training
He quickly advanced into Special Forces unites, where he excelled in the finer arts of combat and warfare techniques. He also learned how to survive in harsh environments and how to live off the grid.
Unstoppable Commando
As he advanced in his extensive military career he was brought onto special commando units where he continued to thrive and hone the unique skills associated with team-based raids and operations. It was in these commando units where he first earned his nickname as "The Tank" for his berserker-like fury and unstoppable momentum against the enemy.
Head-to-Toe Phrik Armor Suit
As the years of war continued, he had a special suit of armor created for himself which completely covered his entire body. It was made of Phrik, which made him seemingly impervious to almost anything, including light sabers.
Warrior Spirit
He is a ferocious and determined warrior, unyielding and almost fatalistic in his intensity in battle. Once you become his target, he will not stop hunting you down.
Force Abilities
Aaris is strong with the force, and over the many years of battle, he has learned how to utilize the force as his ally, in combat as well as in general awareness.
Lack of Subtlety
He is not known for being good at details or hiding his motives. He does not have a single political bone in his body.
Collateral Damage
Often, Aaris' solutions tend to leave extensive damage in his wake.
Violent Solutions
Even when a peaceful option might be a possibility, it is difficult for Aaris to understand that solutions can take place outside of the battlefield.
Short on Patience
When presented with an option to wait for a possibly better outcome or jump in for an immediate outcome, He tends towards the latter.
Socially Disconnected
It is difficult for him to pick up on social cues from others. It is also very hard for him to relate to anything outside the context of war.
Lost
Having suffered from a strange and devastating amnesia, He has no connections or awareness of any family or history of any kind apart from the comrads at arms that he fights besides, who are the closest thing he has to a family.
BIOGRAPHY:
Awakening
The muffled screams mixed with the shocking sounds of chaotic warfare slowly began arise within his subconscious. The man opened his eyes, very slowly, as he started to regain consciousness. As his vision cleared, the ferociousness of the battle occurring around him quickly flooded his senses, shocking him into reality. He jolted up, looking around him, completely confused and lost as to where he was... or even... who he was. He appeared to be in some sort of abandoned building by himself. The chaos outside the structure caused him to look around frantically for a way to defend himself. His hand felt a blaster resting by his side, which he quickly grasped with his shaking hand. He crawled on his hands and knees to the window, daring a look outside. There were thousands of troops advancing past his position. He desperately grasped at his own uniform and pulled it into eyesight. A sigh of relief left his lips as he saw that he was wearing the same uniform as them. Apparently he was on their side. His mind raced through the nothingness, desperately searching for answers that he knew should have been there, but to no avail. He remembered nothing. Nothing at all. Who he was... who he was fighting... what planet he was on... nothing. He pulled his uniform out further again, peering down to see if it at least had a name tag on. He quietly whispered the name he found...
"Aaris Kolden..."
Suddenly he became aware of a dark presence. The soldier began to look around the room, but then realized that the darkness was coming from... inside of himself. A sense of deep confusion and complete loss of control filled the poor soldier, hie eyes widening as his mind tried desperately to comprehend what was going on. But as quickly as it had arrived, the presence seemed to diminish until it was barely noticeable. He picked himself up onto his feet and stumbled over to the doorway, leaning against it as he watched the armed forces assault an enemy that now appeared to be retreating. He stepped outside, looking up into the sky as massive starships battled above him. Finally, his mind had reached it's end, overwhelmed with the apparently devastating dementia as well as the shock of war that was rattling his senses. The soldiers' eyes lifted into his head as his body limply collapsed onto the battlefield.
Therapy
"None of the sessions have seemed to help." the doctor said to the commander in a hushed tone. They had been speaking about him for some 30 minutes now, still at an impasse as to what to do about his condition. It had been 9 months since Aaris had apparently forgotten everything about who he was. He had been brought before many therapists and doctors, however none could help him remember even the slightest detail. It was almost as if the memories simply... didn't exists. He had come to accept his identity as a soldier in the Alliance army, as well as the name on his uniform as being his own... even if it still seemed like it more appropriately belonged to a stranger. Although he wanted answers, there was also a part of him who grew weary from all the attention, and he simply wanted for all of this to be over as soon as possible. He was tired of talking to shrinks and searching for answers in the void.
He reached over and touched the doctors shoulder. She stopped in the middle of her current thought and looked over at him.
"...Yes?"
The young man looked at the commander, "I'm ready to get back into the war, sir." He said, which seemed to disgruntle the doctor judging by the expression she made at his request. The commander looked at him, then back at the doctor.
"Well... It seems to me that there is nothing else that can be done for the man." The general commented. "Is there any reason to believe that his condition would affect him on the field?"
The doctor seemed shocked at the commanders question, "Well, of coarse! He doesn't know who he is! That will affect everything about him... everything he does from this moment on... until he remembers." She looked back at Aaris, raising her eyebrows as she silently encouraged him to reconsider his request. Aaris ignored her plea,
"Sir..." He said with a hint of desperation in his voice, "I've been trying everything for the last nine months to remember... doing everything I'm suppose to..." He said, glancing at the doctor and trying not to offend her in the midst of all of this, "... But if I have to keep doing this, I'm going to loose my mind!" He then caught the irony of what he just said and laughed aloud as he continued, "I mean... the only thing I know is that I'm a soldier! And I feel that the answers I'm looking for are out on the battlefield, sir."
The doctor looked at the ground, discouraged at her failure to help the young man. The Commander nodded, agreeing with what the soldier had presented,
"Very well, son. Let's run you through some basic training again just to make sure your still ready to be a soldier, then I'll get you back on the field."
