Irumakka Sednava

Retired Imperial, Businessman
"Greetings sir. Weather is clear; ships' systems are all in order. Where to?"-Cee Cee

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Create a droid companion and personal pilot for my character, Irumakka Sednava.
  • Role: CG1-C serves as Irumakka Sednava's personal pilot and chauffeur, operating starships and speeders for him.
  • Permissions: N/A. This droid model is my own.
  • Links: N/A
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 6.
  • Model: AAS-CG1.
  • Appearance: An AAS-CG1 unit, CG1-C is an average-height humanoid with a shell of stark white ceramic plating and blue photoreceptors. To distinguish them from other AAS-CG1 units in service to his company as test pilots, Irumakka Sednava has painted a pair of pitch-black Galactic Empire sigils on their forehead, an inversion of the white helmet decorations traditionally worn by pilots of Imperial factions. CG1-C also has their nickname, "Cee Cee" painted on their left shoulder in black aurebesh lettering.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: AAS-CG1-C, often referred to as CG1-C or as "Cee Cee".
  • Loyalties: Irumakka Sednava, Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair.
  • Notable Equipment: SE-14C blaster pistol.
  • Skills: Pilot/copilot and gunnery capabilities.
  • Languages: Galactic Basic Standard, Binary.
  • Personality: All AAS-CG1 models are programmed with gruff, militant personalities and speak in short, information-dense sentences. Droids in the line have a roughly even split between masculine and feminine programming, but Cee Cee has no gender programming whatsoever and goes by they/them pronouns. Cee Cee is notable for being antagonistic towards others, despite usually being weaker than them. They also tend to complain about their work assignments.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: A non-built-in blaster pistol, a SE-14C, which can be clipped onto the right leg when not in use.
  • Combat Function: In a ship-to-ship combat situation, this droid is extremely useful, serving as an excellent gunner due to their integrated targeting computer. However, they cannot effectively fly the ship and engage enemies in combat simultaneously, necessitating a second pilot to take over flying while they dispatch enemies. In more direct person-to-person combat, they can wield their blaster effectively, once again thanks to the integrated targeting computer, providing a little covering fire for their master. However, their clumsy movement and fragile construction mean they cannot avoid being shot or struck, nor can they survive being shot or struck. They can likely be put back together later, depending on the damage.
Strengths:
    • Pinpoint Accurate: This droid model is extremely capable in the role of a gunner on a starship, with an internal targeting computer allowing deadly accuracy with missile, torpedo, and laser weapon systems. This targeting computer also allows some limited capability with small arms, bolstering the number of fighting crew members in the event of a boarding action against your starship.
    • Piloting Skills: This droid possesses sufficient flying skills to safely transport a ship from Point A to Point B in ideal conditions.
    • Conversational: Equipped with a decent vocabulator, this droid is programmed to speak galactic basic. While flying a ship, this seemingly innocuous upgrade proves vital, enabling swift and concise communication between CG1 units and their fellow crew members.
    • Heat/Fire Resistant: The ceramic plating is more than just decorative. Nearly every part of this droid is highly heat-resistant and fire-resistant, protecting all its vital systems in the event of a fire breaking out aboard the ship.
Weaknesses:
    • Handle With Care: These droids are very fragile pieces of machinery and cannot stand the rigors of combat. A single blaster bolt or hard blow is enough to disable and destroy them.
    • Clumsy: CG1s are notoriously clumsy, despite being nimble pilots. When walking on a ship or the surface of a planet, they tend to be very off-balance, accident-prone, and unsteady on their feet.
    • Additional Pilot Required: In ship-to-ship combat situations, this droid has a severe tendency to focus on operating a ship's weapons and may stop flying the ship entirely if that will grant it a clear shot. A crew utilizing this model should ensure that another pilot is present to take over flying and perform evasive maneuvers, allowing the droid to properly engage enemy ships without putting its crew at risk.
    • Hyperspace Incapable: Unlike many pilot, astromech, and astronav droids, CG1 models cannot plot hyperspace coordinates or perform hyperspace flight.
    • Too Much Ship: At a certain point, a ship becomes too large for them to manage, and the calculations required to move it become too complex for their processors. A good rule of thumb is that anything cruiser-sized or larger will overwhelm this droid.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Cee Cee became Irumakka Sednava's personal pilot droid purely by chance. Unit three (C) in the initial sixteen-unit production run made by Irumakka's company, Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair, Sednava chose to pull them aside. He customized them, made them his own, and used them to fill the role of his chauffeur. They now spend their days sitting aboard a starship, waiting to fly him someplace, or to be called out to drive him somewhere aboard a landspeeder. They find this quite boring, as their original intended purpose was putting starships through strenuous testing. Cee Cee often curses their luck, stating that they had fifteen out of sixteen odds of spending their entire "lifespan" doing something they'd have found much more enjoyable. Despite their dislike of their duties, they are fiercely loyal to their master and will put their continued existence on the line to protect him.
