About our new capital

The vote closed before I had a chance to participate (it actually said I was not eligible to vote when I attempted to yesterday), but I must ask how Onderon can possibly act as a capital for the Republic. The planet has one city. A walled city at that so expansion would be difficult. The rest of the planet is covered in forest filled with deadly man eating creatures.

Now I do not know about my fellow senators, but I find the prospect of slumming with man eating beasts in the forest not very conducive to creating laws.

Iziz may be one city but it is a HUGE city. Not to mention with the Event and billions of people going missing, it's going to be one massively empty huge city. There is plenty of room for the Senate there, not to mention expansion doesn't necessarily need to be horizontal, it can be vertical quite easily.


As far as the beasts and the beast tribes go, our resident Beast Master [member="Quietus"] (one of my alts) has that under control. She has herself very well situated ICly with over 7 IRL years of development put into her station on Onderon.


I have at least 3 locations to sub to the codex for Onderon that are all IC canon as per my alt's history, and the planet itself has a history of being very defensible and having a sizable fleet of its own.
