Description: The Abyss Academy isn't a typical sith academy. While there are those that follow the path of the sith, the Academy openly invites all and any that call upon the dark side to empower them, be it witches, sith, dark jedi or a member of any other force order. Due to this the acolytes there are high in versatility when it comes to their power. Only few actually live in the academy, this small group are those most loyal to Darth Abyss, the academy headmaster. Those without a home or a family to go back to, gladly accept their stay there, where they can learn and grow in power under the watchful, strict eyes of a sith lord.
In a combat scenario the acolytes serve as shock troopers, using melee weapons and basic force powers to either overpower or distract an enemy. Because most of them are at a fairly early stage of their training (Apprentice level for roleplay purposes.), they lack the power to use more advanced force abilities and skills, and most of them are mediocre at best when it comes to swinging a lightsaber. They are of little use against elite soldiers or other force users, but they truly shine when pitted against standard infantry or smaller numbers.
The Acolytes fight with an unending loyalty to their headmaster, who while strict, stands as a guardian of the dark side in their eyes. They would do almost everything to fulfill his commands, most of them, besides the most talented ones, even to the point were they would sacrifice their lives.
