- Not infallible - more so makes the systems less effective, but they can still see past the camouflage.

- Adaptive Camouflage
- With a complicated network of microplates with high poly adaptive surfaces that allow for most patterns to be replicated, the "Araphel" Class Adaptive Camouflage is capable of providing a fundamental baseline for nearly every mainline armor on the market in terms of basic 'stealth' needs - with the added benefit of high tech means to help dampen heat and electrical pollution from traditional sensors. This, while not an outright stealth system, helps to make a more modernized camouflage for nearly every fighting arena available - from the forests of Yavin 4 to the more densely gray undercity of Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa.
- Like a Glove -
- Due to it only requiring a basic power pack along with its high-efficiency power usage, the system can be used on almost any armor, weapon, or vehicle - though with limitations to a given size of its application. Due to this and its specialized use of microplates and fibers to achieve it's needed 'blending in', it can be put on anything; from clothing to armor, to blades and rifles - its applications are nearly endless, with some even utilizing it as a means to transition one set of clothing into multiple shades for a night out partying.
- High Tech, High Fidelity -
- Having large amounts of electronic plates to help establish its camouflage, the system is extremely susceptible to ion discharges. Be it in the form of electricity, outright ion weaponry, or more area of effect EMPs - the matter of it becomes debilitating when individual plates either shut off or turn to flash between known patterns; almost instantly giving away any of the benefits of the system allows. Doing a hard reset of the system to get it under control once more requires two minutes, and more established counters such as hard-styled known patterns can reduce the effectiveness of the camouflage by leaps and bounds on a given circumstance; whereas more static camouflage techniques can be on par or better with their environmental specialization, at the cost of adaptive nature.
Following various camouflaged put forth by Jaeger's sister companies and competitors, Dorian Harper saw fit to bring Jaeger into the market with its own brand of adaptive camouflage - a catch-all basket product meant to encapsulate many environments with the use of a single armor. This would help reduce the cost of refits and restructuring of units due to redeployment, whereas more static camouflage systems require entire redux of their existing features and plates; without going into the extremely costly and technologically advanced nature of active cloaking systems more often utilized by small deployment assassination groups or special forces.
With this, the AC-14 "Araphel" Class Adaptive Camouflage system gives the traditional soldier the ability to utilize highly advanced camouflage techniques on the fly - adapting from one moment in the deserts to the more muddled grays of an urban environment with almost no lag time. Even going as far as to adapt for current lighting situations and shadows, the system is beyond advanced in its ability to conquer the average line of sight of a war-weary soldier and the less technologically capable members of insurgency groups and the like across many of the galaxy's massive empires.
Altogether, the system is a great addition to Jaeger's line up - and while many have judged it for its lack of stability in an ion rich warfare environment, the matter is set that the 'Araphel' is the premier choice for operators with standing Jaeger loyalty; only to be seen in use by the likes of Bounty Hunters, specialized special forces units with access to nongovernment affiliated products, and a wide berth of solo operators around the galaxy. As the future looks ever more uncertain with governments beginning to crack down on internal insurrection, for matters of war, there is always a profit to be made; and Jaeger is chief among them is its ability to profit.
