Biography
If one were to ask Acacius to account for his life we would tell you a horror story of blood and betrayal. When he was young his grandfather was a great crime syndicate in the underworld and was tied to many heinous acts and crimes. Enslaving, murdering, Acacius' grandfather was a true monster devoid of remorse, and without control over his own predatory urges, he fell farther and farther into darkness. It was his grandfather that taught Acacius to be heartless and cold towards others and it was his Grandfathers assassination due to poisoning of his food that taught Acacius to be ruthless and perceptive.
After his grandfather was killed all the slaves promptly had their skin flayed from the bone and hung upon to wall where they hang to this day. Acacius had begun to get over his grandfather's death when a strange cloaked woman informed him that it was indeed his father behind the assassination in a bid to claim the network for himself. It was then Acacius began to understand human perception and how it worked which led him to not challenge his father directly but instead inform his grandfather's greatest supporters of the treachery.
This led to a great argument between the two sides which then became a brawl...then a shootout, until finally over 35% of the organization departed and began a civil war against Acacius' father. The infighting went on for years before the organization became whole again...but by that point, it was too far gone. With the organization weakened and funds stretched thin rival syndicates quickly moved in and began attacking the vex estate from all angles, swiftly overwhelming its defenses.
In all the fighting Acacius' father was killed and the estate and its data and cash were burned to the ground forcing Acacius and the remainder of his family to scatter leaving Acacius without any, food, money, or even a family to go back to. A bounty was put on the heads of his family and now Acacius is a wanted man forcing him to keep a low profile as he searches for his attackers to reclaim his home and to clean his legacy.
