OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
A relatively recent creation of the Academics of Flesh, Academy Golems were a project initiated by their ambitious headmaster, who was the first subject of the experiment due to her failing health and advanced age. The Academics use Alkahest to infuse custom bodies with the spirits of those in their rank, either for those who volunteer, or as a reward for long service. Such creations then are either used to infiltrate certain Jedi Enclaves or temples, or set out against Dark Side Users in special operations. The Academics are indeed truly fearsome Wizards to know such secrets.
- Intent: To make a creation from Alkahest

- Links: The Academics of Flesh, Living Clay
- Name: Academy Golem
- Designation: Sentient (Human level intelligence)
- Origins: Disgraced former Jedi of the Academics of Flesh
- Average Lifespan: Every 10 years their bodynust receive a fresh infusion of the Light Side or their bodies will break down, the spirits powering them drawn back to the Netherworld
- Estimated Population: Semi Unique
- Description: Academy Golems are shaped generally like humanoids, and from there may take in whatever appearance their creator wishes them to take
- Breathes: Doesn't Breath, as they have no lungs, being powered solely by the Light Side
- Average Height of Adults: N/A
- Average Length of Adults: N/A
- Skin color: Varies
- Hair color: Varies
- Distinctions: Composed of a Force Enhanced Clay where the spirit of a Powerful Force User resides, they typically resemble any humanoid species the designer wants them to
- Races: Any member of nearly any race can have their spirit turned into an Academy Golem
- Force Sensitivity: All (Master Level due to the spirits inhabiting the bodies
- Light Channeler: They have an inherently strong connection to the Light Side, able to employ many Light Side abilities, and use Alkahest to forge weapons and creatures
- Hard to Kill: Being made of living Clay, they are exceptionally difficult to injure via conventional methods and put down as there are no vital organs to destroy and their clay bodies repair relatively quickly over a course of 24 hours from kinetic damage requiring immense, often overwhelming means to damage their bodies with just blasters, lightsabers, or pure, kinetic force
- Malleability: They can recover from nearly any form of kinetic damage. Projectiles may create big holes but will otherwise go right through them, and they can manipulate their forms to squeeze through tight spaces
- Blends in: They are crafted to look like typical humanoid species, and their auras normally don't set off alarm bells in other Light Side Users
- Force Voids: Enter natural Force Voids or ones generated by Ysalamiri can force their spirits out of their clay bodies, and render the bodies themselves inert chunks of formless matter unless removed from the voids. Voidstone exposure can do the same, in addition to causing their bodies to start disintegrating. If their bodies are destroyed, and no new one is provided, their spirits only linger in the physical plain two hours before being pulled into the Netherworld
- Water: Water damages their ability to maintain their shape. The more saturated with water they become, the more they lose shape and their ability to focus the Force, breaking down essentially into a pile of mud until enough water leaves their bodies that they can reform it, a process that could take days, and that's if most of the matter wasn't washed away or dissolved
- Fire: Fire exposure at minimum causes their bodies to flake and chip. High intensity could cause their bodies to vitrify into glass, with their spirits trapped in it until a new body can be provided
- Acid: Acid eats right through their bodies
- Cryo: Cryo exposure at high levels freezes them solid , at low levels it massively slows them
- Sonic: Sonic weapons can break apart their bodies into muddy chunks, and they become heavily stunned and easily destroyed. It takes their spirits an hour and a half to repair the body, by which then they will be heavily weakened, needing a few hours of rest before actively using the Force again.
- Limits: The methods used to create them lead to a creature with a very strong connection to the Light Side of the Force, but leaves them weak in Neutral Powers, often only able to use defensive ones or having telekinesis over objects, but not able to execute Force Pushes, Pulls, Waves, or Repulses. Much of the power that would be used for that is instead used to make sure the spirit can stay in the body
- Dark Side: Exposure to pure Dark Side powers like Bolt of Hatred or Waves of Darkness can weaken their ability to maintain their hold over their body if exposed long enough to these powers. Force Sabers can cut through them like tissue paper, and immediately rip the spirit out of the body
- Energy: While they can recover from kinetic damage fairly easily. Significant energy damage may require them to reapply living Clay to the damaged sections of their bodies
- Disintegration Cascade: Living Clay is notoriously vulnerable to Disruptor weapons, even a glancing hit will do significant damage
- Diet: Doesn't eat or drink due to being sustained by the Light Side
- Communication: They speak whatever language the spirit inhabiting them speaks. If they knew telepathy they would use it
- Technology level: Galactic Standard, but also enploys Alkahest
- Religion/Beliefs: All are strong adherents of Light Side Philosophy, differing with Jedi however, on certain key issues such as mercy towards certain enemies (All are fanatical hunters of Sith and oppose the Dark Side)
- General behavior: Created by the Academics of Flesh, these clay creatures explore the limits of Alkahest, and serve as specialized hunters of Dark Force Users, taking advantage of their Light Side abilities and difficult to destroy bodies to carry them in a fight, and often act as enforcers in the organization that created them
