Academy Mission Board: Give you your dream shot

Welcome to the Academy Mission Board. There will be a variety of missions, worlds and scenarios that will allow you to show what you have learned during the time at the Academy, from exploration missions, to salvage, to rescue and engineering missions.

Remember, boys and girls, there are no points for second place.

Batch One:

The Long Way Round - A mission along the half-forgotten Triellus Route, replacing broken or drifted waypoint beacons. Note: passes through Red Ravens territory briefly, so tread lightly.

Adrift - A mission throughout the Mon Calamari colonies, tracking down missing refugee ships. The Mon Calamari people were killed and relocated by the Sith Empire, and their return to their worlds has been difficult.

Brothers in Arms - A mission through the Gordian Reach to the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV. Pick up a small group of Jedi (PCs and/or NPCs, your call) who will be attending the Levantine Astronautical Academy as cadets, and drop off a small group of Force-sensitive cadets who will be attending the Jedi Academy for a short while as exchange students.

Reconnection - A mission through the Sisar Run, between Hutt Space and the Tion Hegemony, making contact with forgotten colonies in former Black Sun/CIS space. Watch out for pirates.

Terms of Exchange - A mission to Hapes, in the heart of the Hapan star cluster, to pick up a handful of Hapan military exchange students who will be studying at the Levantine Astronautical Academy.

Batch Two - The Galaxy And You

Chiss Ascendancy – As they are sometimes the gatekeepers to the Unknown Regions, meet with the Chiss themselves, learn their methods, tactics and culture. Being a good spacer means understanding and respecting different cultures (For non-Imperial style characters, may be a thread, or a solo-thread with an essay on the topic. Remember, keep your Faction politics out of LAA missions.)

Mon Calamari – As this world has been a strong supporter of Republic style regimes in the past, meet with the Mon Cal people, learn their methods, tactics, cultures and approach on starship construction. Being a good spacer means understanding and respecting different cultures (For non-Republic style characters, may be a thread, or a solo-thread with an essay on the topic. Remember, keep your Faction politics out of LAA missions.)

Is the Pirate’s Life for You? – Similar to the previous missions, land on a world known for its pirate/freelance spacer population, learn their methods, tactics, cultures and approach on starship construction. Being a good spacer means understanding and respecting different cultures (all characters, may be a thread, or a solo-thread with an essay on the topic. Remember, keep your Faction politics out of LAA missions.)

Vergesso Asteroids – Take a team ahead of a mining operation to the Vergesso Asteroids. Be on the lookout for pirates among the asteroids. Evaluate the situation and respond accordingly.

Extra-Curricular: Instructor Coren Starchaser is currently employed and sometimes away from Oswaft Station in order to help develop a new hyper-lane through the Unknown Regions. Discuss a potential position on one or more legs of this expedition. Bring your adventuring spirit and a change of underwear. Who knows what is in the Unknown Regions? (Hint: Its probably monsters)
