APPEARANCE:
Achan is slightly above average height for a human male, broad of shoulder and toned in physique. His gait is that of one who has known privilege and position his whole life. He comes across as confident, handsome, and when he needs to be effortlessly charming. His blue eyes appear equal parts of steal and ice, while his red hair stands out in a well maintained purposeful mess of curly locks. His beard, red too, can be seen in longer fuller forms, or occasionally cut bat to stubble.

BIO:
Born to a generationally wealthy family who had made their money over centuries capitalising on loopholes on parallel import markets, Achan has known only the life of luxury and comfort. He was born and grew up on Coruscant under the watchful eye of his families entourage of nannies. He did not know his parents well, but knew well what they expected of him. He was not the first Jaikavi to enter politics. It had been advantageous to have one of the family in the Senate, or at least an in-law. Due to the death of his great uncle, Achan was tapped for the next in the family to take on the role. A role he embraced with pride.

One of the formative moments of Achan’s life was coming under the tutelage of Doctor Astrid Carrovey. Not only was the young doctor a passionate teacher of history, but also a passionate first lover for Achan. The two delved into their love affair and their studies with equal passion. Both becoming convinced of the cyclical nature of history, and the role of Force users in perpetuating the destruction of non-Force user lives. Despite Achan being of age, the family looked poorly on the relationship when it was discovered. Doctor Carrovey suddenly had a new job, and was not heard from again.

Achan maintained his passionate views about the Force and those that used it, but kept it a closely guarded secret. Only when the terrorist group known as The New Way began to show its existence did he make any efforts to action his beliefs. His first goal was to take away control of The New Way from its founder, Baros Sal-Soren . With that accomplished, and Achan usurping control, The New Way went quiet. It was renamed The Unblessed to distance itself from the unsanctioned terror attacks, and Achan continued the work of the organisation to undermine Sith and Jedi alike.

Achan was considered to not be much of a chance for winning the election. However, the front runners were embroiled in a number of coincidental controversies that Achan, and his fairly spotless record, was able to sneak in a surprise victory.
