Modularity: Weapons Can be Substituted (Personal Energy Shield can be added to Minor Production Model)
Production: Mass (Minor Production with Icon-class Personal Energy Shield)
Material: Anvilskin Ceramic Composite Armor, Duranium, Alusteel, Droid Components
Classification: Fourth Degree
Weight: 500 Kilograms
Height: 2.5 Meters
Movement: Bipedal (Repulsorlift Boosters)
Armaments:
The ACS-302 Heavy Assault Droid is perfectly engineered to be dropped directly into combat and unleash absolute hell on its enemies. Heavily Armed, even more heavily armored and shielded it is a mobile fire support droid. Utilizing powerful weaponry, and armored in thick heavy armor plating the ACS-302 is capable of surviving heavy amounts of punishment. On some of the more purpose driven units, intended to further increase its longevity each shoulder of the droid features an Icon-Class Personal Energy Shield module, allowing it to sustain heavy damage before its 'hull' even begins to suffer. Though large and bulky, the droid isn't horrifically slow, but it is cumbersome. To increase its mobility, it features a set of Repulsor Lift Boosters allowing it to make significant jumps and survive falls from great heights. It features a full suite of sensor equipment and targeting equipment to aid the Droid Brains in combat, allowing them to 'see' through walls similar to the Arbiter Combat Helmet. In fact it features almost all the systems normally found in the helmet. In addition the droid features a K-65 Targeting system, as the primary sensor and targeting computer used by the droid, simply assisted by the other features. The droid itself can understand verbal and non-verbal commands, and is normally attached to a squad or fire team, though it can independently operate or receive orders from a command center.
Its Armament can be exchanged with equivalent sized weapons, and it may always utilize alternate ammunition. The Quad Missile Launcher connects to the Droid Brain's targeting computer, allowing it to fire very accurately and home in on targets. Its opposite shoulder features a Viper 2 Grenade Launcher, loaded with grenades in an internal magazine of Eight rather than Five. Its ammunition compartment for its other weapons normally feature a forty kilogram power generator, separate from the droids power supply, however this can be exchanged for a smaller version or completely for twenty or forty kilograms of slugthrower ammunition, depending on the configuration. Finally, the auxiliary weapon can be any Carbine sized weapons on the Left arm.
Being 500 kilograms of droid components, generators, weapons, and armor, the droid is inordinately strong, capable of crushing bones with its hands, barrelling through duracrete walls, and smashing through obstacles as necessary in combat. Though not outfitted specifically for close quarters combat, due to its impressive strength it is a danger even to armored foes. Its internal components are coated in NeuroCoat 'Everlast' reducing the need for regular maintenance on the Droid. Featuring a pair of J2 Droid Brains it has enhanced processing power and redundancies when in combat.
