Naast'ika Laaran
Singing Little Destroyer
Mesen'loras Campaign
Act 11: BORN TO BE WILD
(Skek'zus Quall)
It was almost time. Alor'buir had been spending more and more time near shore over the past three days and her songs were getting longer and softer. She would be having the calves soon. Skek'zus Quall had taken a speeder out on the lake twice a day to monitor her status. Scans showed that she was as healthy as ever and the twelve fetus's she held within her were as healthy as conventional science could ever understand.
There was something about today though. The way she moved, her songs, the way she let her back crest out of the water... It made Skek'zus think that today would be the day. Of course, once Mr Larraq had been informed he had insisted that he attend. So once again the two of them, accompanied by a small flock of scientists found themselves hovering over Kibo Lake in a Ani'jarkiv Luxury Limo. Below them, blue light glowed from Alor'buir's mouth as she gracefully glided through the clear, blue water. Her song echoed through the air as she sang to her unborn calves.
