Home Threads:
We have a plan standing to create four fortresses where we will store our information network and valuable trinkets. I have begun working on the Maena Institute, where we are aided by Matsu Xiangu. We should look for sites for the other fortresses and build them. Having, and using, these locations give us some common settings for RP.
These home threads need not only be about making these places, but also about using them. Have your social thread, your apprentice's training, a duel between Sith Assassins, happen at one of these structures. Which brings me to:
Social Threads:
Let characters spend time with each other. A faction is built upon member participation and member participation relies first and foremost upon character relationships.
This is most important for those who are new to our faction. Let's bring them together and have them form relations, rivalries or tenuous friendship. Perhaps a DM'ed thread where they are forced to work together in to overcome an obstacle?
Skirmishes:
Not all of us are fond of the Map Game, but participating in Map-influencing and PvP threads is a good OOC exposure that brings our name out and into the minds of others. Perhaps we should incite or throw our lot in with another faction in a rebellion? Perhaps we should begin IC'ly harassing the GA or the Silvers with terror bombings. Perhaps we should make said acts of terror appear to be performed by another faction?
As long as we're not being biths about it, we can pull off a lot of covert missions.
