BIOGRAPHY:
Adalric Vastor has commanded ships up and down the Unknown Regions, serving in planetary patrol forces, mercenary crews, exploratory missions, and the naval forces of the Atrisian Empire and Fringe Confederation. Born on 244Core, he cut his teeth flying planet-hoppers and ore freighters. He developed a reputation as a man with ice in his veins, was trusted with an escort vessel, and the rest is history.
Shadowport tales claim he once spaced a Sorcerer of Rhand, that he's walked on Mugg Fallow, that he's visited Rakata Beta and left with his skin intact. What's more certain is that he served under Captain Farnabas Engel, the revolutionary and infochant who captained Ashin Varanin's Chimaera for the better part of a decade until his murder on Dasid Anya in 844.
The news of Engel's murder hit Vastor hard. He took up a new attitude and a new career, and he kept his mouth shut about it.
Vastor signed on with the Imperium, then the Imperial Remnant, searching for the genuine article. In the meantime, he acquired operational assets through raids on the Republic and the Mandalorians. He procured the materials and technology necessary to build three cloaking devices. One found a home in Vastor's frigate, the Lor Pelek; Vastor kept the other two in reserve, for the day when he found an empire worth serving.
